Ate some delicious rich oxtail stew (rabo encendido) which is their Saturday special, with the meat melting off the bone, fried sweet plantains (maduros), yellow rice, and fried pork rinds (chiccharron). Very kind and attentive waitresses. Small restaurant (about 12 places), air conditioned, with additional seating outdoors. Excellent meal for two for $21. (Only negative was the free salad they served with an overly sweet dressing.) Highly recommended! Were going back tonight to try the suckling pig (Sunday special).

Food is delicious. I grew up on Jamaican food and ill go here every time over Marks place. Great place if you looking for quality HISPANIC food at a great value reminds me of Hispanic food in Paterson. Havent been able to say that about a place in a while. Staff is welcoming as well and knows English. Which helps when you want to try something new and dont know what youre ordering lol

Awesome food! Being Cuban Im very particular about where I eat Cuban food. I can truthfully say that it takes me back to my mothers kitchen. The coffee is also very good. Highly recommended. Asbury park has a destination for Cubans in NJ and for people who like good food!

Wow these guys kill it!!! First off the portions are huge, you wont leave here hungry. Second if your unsure of trying a dish theyll give you a sample and let you taste it. Overall there guys take pride in what they do and it shows... Good job!

Delicious Ropa vieja, best Ive ever had. Roast pork melts in your mouth and black rice is wonderful. Ive passed this place a hundred times and finally came in for lunch. I think were gonna be regulars. Rice pudding yummy too.

It is the best Cuban food around. We go every Sunday for the pork special. Its delicious! And the Cuban sandwich is to die for! The food is great, the people are great and the prices are even better. Its a must try for sure!
