The food is poor to mediocre. The management is awful. Hope you like your food because if you dont youre stuck with it. It is Coaches policy not to refund or replace food youre unsatisfied with, even if its untouched and youre part of a large tab. Im fairly certain this is the only restaurant in Bloomington with this policy. Just for comparisons sake, I once had a slightly over-cooked steak at Bloomingtons TGI Fridays, but ate it anyways and didnt request any sort of action on the part of the restaurant. But the manager insisted on comping my entire meal and brought our table free dessert. Coaches is just out for your money, even if it means you wont come back again. Coaches isnt even close to worth it. There are tons of great restaurants in Bloomington, some even within ONE block of Coaches. Dont waste your time or money, go anywhere (yes, ANYwhere) else in downtown Bloomington.

A hopeful experience gone wrong. Came there with my little one and sat down and waited to be seated. There could not have been more then 10 people there but it was 10 minutes before someone even came to sit us. After we ordered a burger and friend and the little one had corndogs and fries. I asked for it to be medium well done, when it came out it was burnt on the sides and pink-ish in the middle. It was not the worst burger I have ever had but definitely below what I would like. The fries were underwhelming and much too hot. I ended up paying 31 dollars including tip when it was all said and done. I have had better experience for a fraction of the price at my local McDonalds. Would not come back

Over the past few years Ive eaten at coaches several times. My first experience was awful. Next few experiences were mediocre... but for the last 3 times Ive eaten there, I have had AMAZING food. The steak fries are some of my favorite, and the Chicken Cordon Bleu wrap is sooo good. Im not sure what happened... management change or change in chefs, but whatever happened has been great. If you tried Coaches before and had a bad experience. Id encourage you to give them another try. Im surprised to say that its now one of my favorite Bloomington restaurants.

After seeing the mediocre ratings I was a little anxious that Coaches would just be another so-so Bloomington restaurant. Coaches is really a great place to go (for drinks or with your family). Great service, great food, great value. Most of the entres are around the $8-$10 range and you get A LOT of food for your money. Although they do have a somewhat limited menu, your wont be disappointed in the food they do have. I recommend this restaurant to anyone.

It took fifteen minutes for a host to even come to the front to take our names. There were two bartenders and only two people at the bar. I waited another ten minutes and still didnt have a table for two in a nearly empty restaurant. I actually left because of the terrible service and management. This establishment does not even deserve one star.

Slow service on a slow day! Server did not know if they served juice or milk. Fish and chips, no chips and coleslaw is no longer served with meal as menu says. Meatball sandwich meatballs burned. 4 kids drinks ordered only two came in kids cups. Every refill was asked for by us. Food was OK at best and over priced.

Absolutely loved it. Had the BBQ Hoosier Burger, best damn burger Ive had in a long long long time! Our server did a great job, we had a bunch of separate checks cause of work restrictions and he handled that with ease, would absolutely recommend this cause of both the food, staff and AWESOME environment!

Average pub food dining experience. Ive only been here once, but I had a burger and it was good. Id recommend you go to Scottys instead, but if Scottys is packed, this is an adequate second choice.
