Was a weekly patron, the food I have had is all very good. The service is mediocre, but everytime I have gone I have not been in a rush so it was never really an issue. Tonight was my last time going. We arrived and there was a 30 minute wait with 8 empty tables on the patio. Before we started going weekly we called and asked if their patio was cigar friendly and were told yes as long as we werent under the covered area. We got a table in the same area we always sit in, at the very back of the patio. We had dinner as usual, the food was good with the anticipated very slow service. We finished dinner and as we do every week and lit up a cigar. About 20 minutes after lighting the cigar we were greeted (more accurately, confronted) by what I can only assume was the manager because there was no introduction and very abruptly told "guys put them out or move". We understand some people dont like being around cigar smoke, if the indivifual had approached us and said something to the side along the lines of "hey guys, some people have complained would you mind moving over or putting them out," we would have had no issue. Instead the individual made a simple situation borderline embarrassing for herself and proceeded to make an unnecessary spectacle of herself. I have never seen a less professional way for an apparent manager to conduct themselves. There were several other parties that are also weekly patrons that come the same day every week for a couple beers and a cigar that approached us on their way out and informed us that they too would no longer be returning. If you dont want cigar smoking on your patio, dont tell customers it is allowed and if a situation arises where exceptions have to be made to improve the overall customer satisfaction, handle it with some measure of tact. It really is a shame that a place with such good food and atmosphere potential cant seem to get their service up to par and has such poor management.

Service and atmosphere are great. Food is better than when they first opened, but still needs tweeked. Example #1 Got the jerked wings. They looked like they were well done, but they were cooked uneven. This is unfortunate because the flavor was good. Good wings are important for a restaurant like this. Example #2 Got the salmon salad, again good but missing something (suggest adding strawberries during the summer. You have great local produce available to you). Wine glasses were cloudy with water spots. Had to clean myself with a napkin. I will give Copper another chance since they did improve since our last visit and the owners are really cool. But so far still not impressed. P.S. I have had dessert here also. Again not impressed. Dessert is my thing and next time I will pass. I can make something calorie worthy at home.

Arrived to the restaurant for food, drinks, and the basketball game. Very nice scenery. Was greeted nicely by the greeter and sat at a table for 2 inside. As we sat there for approximately 15 mins it seem to me that no one noticed us. No waiter no waitress no one came to get us a glass of water or even ask how our evening was going! So we left, for first timers I expected way more going by the presentation of the restaurant. Ended up at t-bones where we had a great time and was accompanied by someone who had the exact same experience we did at the pub.

I live in the area and have been a few times to copper. Sad to say, Im going to have to draw a line through this restaurant. To start with the food, everything Ive had just isnt good - at least not for the price you pay for it. I really think they need to tweak some of the items on their menu (ex. Dont put cold, gritty beer cheese on nachos-try replacing that with queso instead). The service here is very slow as well; dont expect a quick dinner here, especially if you have plans after. Until the food and service at Copper improves, I wont be back.

Loved our visit for Mothers day. Highly recommend Copper Premium Pub for families. They have a spacious outside area for kids to wander outside while waiting for food. The outside seating is a very nice touch to relax and our kids enjoyed being outside while waiting. The Boom boom shrimp was the best and the burgers were cooked perfectly. If you are into sports, they do have TVs inside and nice drink selection while watching the game. The decor is tasteful. Great food and awesome service, we will be back.

Wonderful experience with family on Mothers day. We had a great meal there today for Mothers day and loved the decor. Catherine was our server and was excellent, highly recommend the service there. We got our food, appetizer and drinks all in timely manner without feeling rushed. It is nice to have the outdoor seating too. Hoping that locals down in Lake Wylie realize this is a real gem. We love this place and will be back!

Our first visit since theyve opened! It went very well! Although parking was at a premium we managed to get a spot almost in front of the door. We were seated upon arrival. As native-northerners this was our first "shrimp and grits" experience. It was amazing! The meatloaf was also good. Service was quick and timely. We are definitely repeat customers!

The service was absolutely fantastic. The waitress was very attentive. The kitchen was pretty slow with getting our entrees finished but the restaurant was nearly full. The only issue was the silverware and plates were not were not clean.
