Very disappointed - my husband, daughter and I arrived on Sunday 3/12/17 to eat lunch around 11:15. There were about 20 customers already seated throughout this large establishment with several open tables. First, we walked past many open tables and we were seated directly adjacent (5 ft) from the opening of the bathroom. We asked to move and were moved 2 seats away. Next, we waited patiently to be greeted by our server who never came. She went to the people who were seated after us at our original table and returned with their drink order to take their food order and still - No greeting by our server. As we were walking out the front door, the 3 employees that were gathered around the bar, one of whom was likely the manager, looked at us as if "where are you going?" As we left the establishment, my husband told the hostess that we were never greeted. She just stood there with her mouth open and didnt say anything. We left and we wont return.

Had Sunday brunch there recently. The menu is very well-balanced with an equal amount of non-egg items and things you wouldnt find at other local brunch places. I had the French Toast bake, which was very original in the way it was prepared. It came with some very fresh fruit and I added a side of bacon that was very crispy. My girlfriend had an omelet that was huge and also just as good. I also ordered a side of banana nut bread, that came with some type of flavored banana cream cheese that I wanted seconds of. They have a full bar on Sundays and served mimosa, bellinis, and bloody marys. The mimosas were around $5 and came with a complimentary refill, although we declined when we noticed someone elses lipstick on the glass. Other than that it was a very enjoyable brunch. Service was extremely good and Id be happy to go back. My meal ended up being around $20 a person with tip.

Some friends and I stopped by the Thirsty Fellow for lunch today (Friday). We were very impressed with the decor. It was not at all what we were expecting from the outside. One of my friends and I split the lunch special, 2 house salads and a 2 topping small pizza for $11. Dont let small pizza throw you off. We were stuffed by the time we left. Not only that, the owner accidently burned the pizza crust so they offered to make us another one. The pizza was barely burned so we declined. The owner came out himself and apologized saying that we would have to come back and let him redeem himself. Then when it was time to pay, our meal was free of charge! As I said before, the pizza was barely burned and we devoured it! Their entire menu looks great, they are building a nice deck outside and they have $3 pints and $12 pitchers all the time. I will definitely be back!

I had a craving for some pizza and didnt want the default mellow mushroom so I did a search and came across this place. My girlfriend and I went in on a Friday night to check it out. Wow we were instantly impressed. Its a neat set up with the walls covered in books and movies and dvds (they should add old board games to the collection too). Plenty of TVs to watch the gamecocks on and not too noisy. Any way our waitress was really friendly, the stuffed pepper appetizer was awesome, the beer selection was great and I think $3 for all draft beers is a great deal. We each ordered a different pizza and couldnt decide whos was better. Definitely spring for the finishing oil on the crust its delish! We will definitely be back soon because the rest of the menu looked great too. This is a great local business!

While the food was good, the service was severely lacking. Upon arrival my wife and I (party of 2) was told the wait was 10 to 15 minutes, more than reasonable. We wound up waiting over 30 minutes to be sat while we watched 3 parties that arrived after us, be seated before us. When finally seated, it was at a large table for 6 which made it awkward. It then took 15 minutes for our order to be taken; 2 small pizzas, which is one of their signature items. We then waited 50 minutes for our pizzas while our server let our drinks remain empty and never checked back with us until the food was brought out. We ate, we paid and we left. Again, the food was good but it should not take a couple of 2 almost 2 hours to be sat and served while parties of 5+ were done in half that time. We will not be returning.

I really like Thirsty Fellow. It is a very neat place. Although my waitress recently WAY overcharged me for alcohol. Be careful, the prices can add up quickly here. I split dinner with my friend and my total bill was $42. 42 DOLLARS! This happened because I ordered a long island iced tea. I was charged $4.50 for EACH ALCOHOL used in this drink. This drink ended up costing me about $15. Plus our waitress tried to rush us out the door. All the other staff weve had here has been excellent and I will go again, just not with that waitress.

Two things; 1. Dont go here if the outside temp is over 90 deg. The owners underspent on the a/c and it is always warm, even hot, in this pub if it is hot outside. This is from two different visits in the summer, one just recently. The temp is ok in the winter. 2. The food is overpriced and tends toward the spicy side. Service was good. Yeah! The beer was warm. Yuuch. If I wanted warm beer I would go to the UK.

My wife and I went this past Saturday for dinner and drinks. We got the Gorgonzola Potato Chips... Wow! We also got a pizza that was by far the best pizza I have had in Columbia. Everything was so fresh tasting. The service was excellent as well, she made sure we had everything we needed and was prompt with refills. Cant wait to go back!

Food was nice, nothing you cant get elsewhere. Very overpriced for what it is. Also a bit misleading to say "burger comes with side" but then charge extra for the side. Dont think Ill go back, but decent enough food if you dont mind paying $15 for a burger and fries (after tax). Service a bit "meh". Serving sizes are good.

Great local pub easily accessible from the Colonial Life Arena and Carolina Baseball Stadium. Its close to the Greek village and theyre almost always busy. Usually dont have to wait too long. Outdoor seating is nice. All the food is good with a decent draft beer selection that is well rounded by their bottled selection.

Never, EVER had anything bad here. Some favorites of mine and my family are the cheese steak, chicken fingers, ANY of the pizza (the crust is amazing and I do not typically eat the crust), and there sauces/dressings are "order extra" worthy. Bartenders and Waitstaff are friendly and spot on with service.

food is ok... but other patrons made for a poor evening. People sleeping in booths, a group walked in and took all of the seats in outdoor section. Very annoying, especially with signs throughout the place saying please see hostest to be seated. Probably wont be back for long time after this trip.
