This place is unapologetically filthy.. My spouse and I arrived here around 6pm on last Saturday, it wasnt busy or crowded at all. The hostess showed us to our table right away. As I was sitting down I noticed the seat of the booth was dirty, there were napkins on the table so I just wiped it off. Upon sitting down I saw there was what appeared to be salt and bread all over the table. I went to inform the hostess about the dirty table and she just stared at me.... Confused, I told her were not sitting at a dirty table. She continued to look at us as if we were speaking French. After telling her for the third time that the table is dirty she offered to sit us in the bar. At this point I was so frustrated I left. Ive never been to a place that had a dirty table and didnt apologize or at least have the decency to clean it up. I would NEVER spend my money here. Id rather take the trip to Simpsonville to Silver Bay.

Me and some friends dined there on 4/1/2016 with a party of 14 the bill came to 191.00 which my friend paid well a couple of days later my friend checked her account and they charged her 3,476.00 when she questioned them about it they first said the barcode on the reciept got picked up then they flipped it on her and asked why did her bank process it anyway then they tried to say she was committing fraud then when the owner finally owned up to it he told her he would take a check to her bank to put the money back in her account plus pay over draft fees she has recieved due to them well that never happend and now he wont even answer his phone or return her calls so now she has to go through her bank to get her money back which could take up to 2 weeks I will never eat here again and if you do I suggest you use cash!!!

My friend and I went to Harbor Inn this past Wednesday night. It was around 7:30 and was not crowded at all. We were seated but it was so cold we moved to another table thinking it was the vent above us. Not so. It was so cold it was unbelievable! Our server came to the table and I asked if she could please turn the temperature up on the thermostat. She came back shortly thereafter and said that they were not allowed to touch it. Unfortunately, I told her that was a shame because we would have to go elsewhere and eat. That is really shameful that it was unbearably cold and no one would do anything about it. Under the circumstances, we will not be returning until the thermostat is changed. That may be why there were so few people in the restaurant. Someone may want to look into the situation.

Visited the Greenville SC area for our FBH Church Convention. I love seafood, so I made a visit to the Harbor Inn to order a cup of Oyster Stew. Went inside. The waitress was polite and the environment was clean and oceany. Prices on the menu looked great, and I said to myself, " Ill be back for lunch or dinner another day." Received my Oyster Stew and hurried back for the taste. Went in my hotel room to dive into my soup...,,, it tasted like 2% milk, mixed with water. I had to go to the Super Market to get a can of Campbell Oyster Stew to satisfy my taste. I hope if I go there later for a meal, its better than the Oyster Soup.

Ive been going here for years and it has gone downhill. While the fried oysters were very good, there were only 8 or so on the plate. The cod was so overcooked it was ridiculous - we got an appetizer of calamari and it was like eating rubber. When I told them on the way out, they said, "next time tell your server." This was the second time on a row for overcooked fish, and being told "next time" ---- there will not be a next time. It used to be a great place but for a seafood place to constantly overcook fish?? COME ON NOW....

There is plenty of reasons to stop here for dinner; the tasted like to items they were (IE.. potato tasted like potatoe not card board, each different fish tire tasted like that species not grease, hush puppies were cooked properly, Cole slaw was tasty and our beverages were fresh and flavorful. From a fathers point of view, the did was as it should be. Oh, by the way they were respectful to my handicap service dog as well. Five stars all the way for our Server Courtney.

Delicious food fast! Both of us ordered a combination platter and while waiting for our food, the waitress brought extra plates to the table. We were wondering why we needed the extra plates. Soon after the plates, we got our food and it became obvious. We ordered food for two people but there was enough food for four. One entire platter had to be boxed for take out.

Such a fantastic place to eat! I loved the service and the food was excellent! I couldnt believe the amount of food I got when I ordered the baby shrimp and perch special. It was so much that half way through eating it I was already full. Not to mention every time I go up to pay at the front the cashiers are always so nice and welcoming!

Terrible food. Salad was wilted lettuce with one tomato. They bring dressing in squeeze bottle. Pretty sure the crab in crab stuffed shrimp was whitefish. We are new to the area and were planning on taking our visiting relatives there. Good thing we tested it first..Long John Silvers has better food even

Harbor Inn features friendly staff and decent seafood at a reasonable price. I dont visit this restaurant often, but I leave feeling that I received good value for my money. There are few other seafood restaurants in the immediate area, and Harbor Inn is as good as most restaurants of the type.

This place was the best around town until they changed the way the hush puppies are served. Also the lack of good quality management when a mistake is made no prompt response to rectify the issue. Never pay with a debit card at this location only cash, better yet just go elsewhere.

I have eaten here on several occasions but the hush puppies are now served on you plate and soggy. The management recently made this change. Today the hostess took me to the bar area to be seated without the courtesy of asking if I wanted to be seated in a bar. I just left!

Harbor Inn was the best seafood in town however when charged for my dinner i was overcharged by $3, 671. My bill was only $191 in which two seperate transactions on my bank statement. Free advice use Cash only because they will take 10days to get your money back.
