I grew up very close to this restaurant and did not go until early this summer (38 years old now). Went with my parents and daughter and truly had no expectations whatsover. The building is a little tired, the decor could use an overhaul, and you can see where they made some improvements that do not quite fit in at the bar area. The interesting thing about the place, besides wondering where the Eiffel Tower they had by the side of the road went, is that the parking lot is full every Saturday night and people have to park on the street. There is clearly something going on here... The menu is a perfectly respectable, albeit a little small, menu of respectable French standards. Add to this a prime rib they are supposedly famous for (we did not order one) and French beer, and youre on your way. The food was truly surprising. The portions were appropriate, the prices reasonable, and the food was far above average. It is actually one of those places that you could see yourself becoming a regular at - going a couple of times a month, maybe observing a special occasion during the week. I do not think it is upscale enough for a significant family event (think anniversary with 10-12 family members), but it is definitely a restaurant to put in the rotation and the only place to go when you want French food in the area. Enjoy it!

The place is quiet and cozy.. not overly classy, actually pretty country...food is OK, not great for the price.. $9 for 2 expressos is unacceptable in Tiverton ...But what took the wind out of this first time and perhaps the last, was the less than zero service... Katherine the waitress, was not interested in us from the beginning...15 m to take the order...30m to get the food...She returned once to fill the water, and we had to get up and look for her to pay...She is lucky she got 10℅....Most likely will not return

I live in New Bedford and had never been here before but my mother wanted to go for her birthday and was nervous at first when I walked in but it was AMAZING. Everyone there was ancient and the decor is like youre in someones basement, but the food is sooo good. There are many courses and by the time your meal arrives you are almost full. I had the Lobster Newburgh and it was delicious. It takes a while to eat there, but its a great experience!!

Fantastic food, I absolutely love going here. The prices are slightly expensive but resonsible for the food quality and style. The french beer is great and their meals are just to die for. The only reason I didnt give the full 5 stars is the building. Last time we went there we were burning up in one of the rooms. It felt like it was 95.

I love the food there but I was a bit upset that my favorite was no longer on the menu. I believe the atmosphere could use a severe update (paneling?!?) and the Eiffel Tower which was a landmark for the restaurant is no longer there.
