"OMG!" Youll hear that often as you spend and evening at this outstanding restaurant. From the moment you walk in until you leave, you feel like a welcome gust in Pacos "home." Our first time here this past weekend, and wow, our friends were right, its not just Mexican food, its goes way beyond that with mouth watering offerings on the menu to the specials of today, which Paco is more than happy to "OMG" share with you!. He really is passionate and proud of his restaurant and food and service, and it shows in everything. If you do one thing this this year, go here for a dinner you wont soon forget. Its not often I write reviews, but this one experience was worthy of it. I had the chicken special with a poblano mashed potato service with roasted chicken with a pine nut sauce, absolutely outstanding. Others at our table had items off the menu which were equally outstanding. Everything is fresh and well presented. So stop reading the reviews and make a reservation today before this becomes the next Fronterra!!!!

Fantastic. The New Rebozo has been my favorite Mexican restaurant for at least 12 years. Chef Paco personally greets his guests either at the door or table, and time permitting, will stop by to have a short chat before moving on to greet more customers. He shows his specials with such enthusiasm that you might just be willing to try something you might not usually have. In the fall, my favorite is the Chiles en Nogada. I do love the Enchiladas Pancho Villa, but beware --- OMG Hot!! My wifes favorite is the Fiesta Mole (Enchiladas stuffed with choice of meat/cheese, each enchilada topped with a different variety of mole).

Paco, head of house, head chef and owner, creates an extremely welcoming atmosphere and high quality, authentic Mexican dishes. The standard menu is famous for its moles among other traditional Mexican favorites, but only Paco cooks these recipes with such creativity and authenticity. However, half the charm of this place is his genuine efforts to welcome each guest into his "home." This is the place we take all of our guests who come to visit us in Chciago because we can guarantee them a delicious meal and a wonderful experience. This place is a gem in the Midwest!

An Oak Park fixture, New Rebozo features phenomenal Mexican dishes-- both traditional and innovative-- beautifully plated and served up in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Chef Paco is the genius that runs the operation, and is often himself visiting guests at their tables-- showing off his latest special creations and making you feel at home. Make sure to make a reservation on weekend nights-- New Rebozo is a must visit! Try the mole-- oh my god!!!

Dont even bother ordering anything without mole sauce, at least your first time here. Its out of this world. Make sure you high-five the chef, and say with him, "Oh may Gahd" about his food - he will come to your table and ask how it is. Oak Park is lucky to have this place. Watch out for the potent margaritas! I had to be poured into my car (passenger seat) after enjoying a pitcher with friends.

Id heart fabulous things about New Rebozo from a co-working and finally went with my wife and our son of 21 months. The chef/owner presented their specials of the day with great enthusiasm and description, which won us over as we both ordered a different special. The food was excellent and the service was fast and attentive. This is now our favorite Mexican place in the area and we plan to go back!

"Oh my GOD" - Paco, the chef, will always come out to greet every table and he will say this a LOT. Its cute the first couple of times. After that you just deal with it so you can have some of his incredible food, and the agave margaritas are expensive but theyre the best around. Slightly expensive but its definitely worth it as a treat.

Oh my God!... ;) The owner comes to each table and describes the specialty dishes for the evening, and says after each description "Oh my God!" It really is fantastic gourmet, Latin-based food. Lots of twists on Mexican classics, too. They have a small outdoor patio in the back. Nice place, and definitely worth a visit or two or three...

Chef Paco is a delight and his food is always top-notch. Without fail, Ill pick something from the menu, but when he comes to the table to describe the specials, he makes them sound so good that i just order one of them. Im not usually a fan of mole sauce, but he has 20-something variations, and each and every one of them is delicious.

Have eaten there many times and always enjoyed. However the last time we were there we were very disappointed. We brought some friends and within 5 minutes of finishing dinner we were asked to leave because there were people waiting on tables. Weve decided to help them out and not return, EVER.

My husband and I just had the most amazing experience here!! The food was outstanding and Chef came to our table to deliver the specials. His enthusiasm for his masterpieces was contagious and we loved how he could show us pictures of what the specials were. Definitely coming back soon.

The first time we went, it was excellent. The second time, disappointing. Food is OK, but not exceptional. Prices are very high, beyond the value of the food. If a dinner for 3 is > $100, the food better be great. Sorry - the enthusiasm is nice...

Oh. My. God. Thats what you will say about the food and to some degree, the bill, when it comes. New Rebozo is fabulous food, but it does come at a price. One of my favorite places to eat, but not the kind I can go to once a week.

Chef Paco keeps the food lively and the service impeccable. The slow-cooked, homemade mole selections are unbeatable. This is an absolute must to visit if you enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine and genuinely warm service.

An oak park classic! The food is great. The chef is very present and involved and happy to share his enthusiasm for good food. The cinnamon mole is outstanding, like no other mole Ive tasted. Layers of flavors.
