Was disappointed. Ordered guacamole which was terrible tasted like avacado with a lot of cilantro. Not very tasty. I ordered green chicken enchiladas and my husband ordered red chicken enchiladas. Neither had much flavor and usually shredded chicken is used but this was ground chicken with no flavor at all. Very disappointed because I had heard a lot about El Rancho. Our waitress really rushed us. We had just started eating our meals and was only asking if we wanted dessert and we said no so she promptly brought our bill. I had to ask for more water, she never came and asked. We will not be returning.

The service was ok not the best waitress seemed over stressed and like she needed to take a break. The kids pizza is over charged for microwaved pizza, the fried were soggie and tasted like fish oil, the burrios were ok not the best just ok. Than when trying to pay the system went down and they requested us to leave all our card information with them and we dont carry cash on us. And were not going to give out valuable information to a shady restaurant. So had to leave my family here and go to an atm and wasnt accomadated at all for this unconvinced

My family from Bel Air, MD were looking for a good Mexican restaurant near me to celebrate my bother-in-laws birthday, and El Rancho was recommended. OMG! Absolutely delicious. Every plate was better than the next, but, I will always get what I ordered again and again. The El Rancho Enchilada! Shrimp, shrimp and more shimp, need I say more. Dont let the outside fool you, the staff and owners couldnt have been any nicer or accommodating.

This place is definatley a reinvigorating experience for mexican cuisine in Hanover. Move over any other Mexican places in Hanover or surrounding areas, this place is it. I ordered the nachos and everything about that was spot on. For my entree I ordered a burrito and it was fantastic. Service was awesome and everything about this place screams awesome. Definitely going back.

I have no idea what these other people are talking about. My entire family not only hated the food but got sick from it. Slow service, dry tacos (how the heck do you screw up tacos?!?), and Im typing this from my toilet where Ive been for the last half hour. Disgusting!

Had an amazing lunch here today. Took the waitresses advice and got the burrito, best Ive ever had. Friend had the tacos and loved them as well. Great food, excellent service, nice cozy little place. Will definitely be returning.

Friendly staff. Good food. Menu and recipes are different from the typical Mexican restaurant. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, like Abuela was in the kitchen cooking for a big fiesta.
