I dont often give negative reviews, but in this case, Id give minus 5 stars if if were an option. Im a business owner myself, and make it a point to post positive reviews for other businesses who do a good job. Unfortunately, my experience with DaVincis was terrible. We went to DaVincis a couple weeks ago on a Thursday night. We were seated right away, but things quickly went south. Even though the place was only about 1/2 full, it took at least 15 minutes for the server, Kathy, to come to our table. The service was very slow at every turn. I can tolerate that, because I understand how challenging it can be to run a business, but she was also rude. I think she was trying to be funny, but she wouldnt take my order for linguine with clam sauce unless I said the Italian name on the menu. (she had no way of knowing, but I have lyme disease, and the brain fog from it makes this particularly hard for me to process words) Our food finally comes, and it was pretty good, but thats this places only saving grace. My girlfriend and I were having a conversation where we were using our phones to look up some information while we talked. Kathy told me to put my phone away and eat the food. She obviously didnt pick up on my frosty response, because as we were finishing up the meal, and still using the phone, she told me just to keep using the phone, and not worry about helping to clear the table, that she and my girlfriend had it covered. Despite all these issues, we still left a $6 cash tip on about a $30 bill that I paid with my debit card. It gets worse. A few days later, when reviewing my bank account, I see that they added a $6 tip to the charge on my card, even though we left the cash tip, and didnt put any on the card. I still had my receipt, and confirmed that my memory wasnt wrong. I called the restaurant and asked for the owner or manager. They put someone named Anthony on the phone. He apologized, and took all my information, including their transaction numbers from my receipt. He promised to make it right, but would need to research what happened, and call me back. He mentioned possibly having me stop in for a cash refund for the tip. He didnt mention why he couldnt just credit my card. A few days passed, and I didnt hear anything back, so I called again. I was told Anthony wasnt in, so they took a message. The next day I received a voice mail from someone named Carlo who was returning my call. By his message, he didnt have any idea why I had called, and just said he understood that I wanted to speak with him. By this point, I was pretty much done, and decided to give it a day or three to decide what I was going to say when we talked. About the 3rd day, I got a voice mail from the server, Kathy, saying that she had accidentally added the tip to my card that was supposed to be added to someone elses. This sounded like BS to me. She asked that I call her back, but it had to be after 5 pm Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. After all this runaround over $6 that was stolen from me, I was completely fed up. They had several opportunities to handle this professionally and make things right, plus I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt, because again, I own a business and understand how challenging it can be, but they didnt. Based on the way they handled this situation, I have to wonder how frequently this waitress has stolen from customers that they never realized the extra charges, and if the management knows about it, and allows it. Do not support this business.

When we arrived we were seated right away. Sat in booth which you could tell was old.... thin padding. We looked at menus and waited a while to place order. Italian place with basically soda drinking options. We ate on a Saturday night. Servers were running around busy. We ordered calamari which was overcooked either that or oil needed changed. I liked the salad which was very basic. I ordered pasta with alfredo shrimp crabmeat and scallops. The looks of it i thought its gonna be good. WRONG! The pasta was doughy.. the scallops were good shrimp was good till the last bite of shrimp tasted metallic to me. Offered me cheese out of a jar with lid that had two holes cut of by hand you could tell. Big portion of 20.00 entree crap! Better service and food for your money at an Italian chain restaurant. Boyfriend had shrimp scampi that pasta was once again doughy and barely any sauce. His entree was 18.00. Over heard a server saying outloud when phone rang.. i am not picking that up. Ohh and that salad i paid extra 1.50 to get didnt come with entree. I was so disappointed eating here. Obviously the owner doesnt care at all. Our bill came out to about 55.00 total we didnt order dessert. The server offered a box to take leftovers home i said no i just want the bill. Food is not worth that at all. I WILL NEVER COME BACK.

Great high quality food. Ive never had a bad meal here, today I had the Alfredo Medaterrano. Fettuccine Alfredo with scallops and shrimp topped with lump crab meat. As expected it came out hot and absolutely delicious. My only gripe is that the olive oil pour spout was broken, which our server pointed out when she brought it out. As a result, we ended up getting oil all over our hands and table. Should have replaced the pour spout or brought the oil in something else. Still giving 5 stars because the food and service was excellent.

Wow! The best idea I ever had was to stop in here. I went in expecting a regular pizza shop, but I left thinking this place might be my favorite Italian restaurant in Mechanicsburg. Their pasta dishes are wonderful! I dont eat meat, so their selection of seafood is perfect for my diet. Pizza, best on the west shore. Grandma pizza is now my new true love. I highly recommend this establishment, if you have ever driven by and never thought to stop, make sure you do, you wont regret it.

The best Italian restaurant in the area. We have been there 3 times in the last few months. The first time the service was real slow but they had an issue with the order system in the kitchen. Even though my 2 cranky kids were bouncing off the wall by the time dinner came, we instantly fell in love with the food. Real Italian food made with quality ingredients. I personally love the chicken parm, it just melts in your mouth. Hands down the best I have ever had.

ordered lobster ravioli.... topped with lump crab meat. Got reg cheese ravioli... With chicken! and they used the lobster ravioli vodka sauce... Try to hide. Only ate few bites.... Told waitress... Showed OWNER... said he would take care of. Took plate... Never even ate. Still charged me $10 for wrong plate... Thats how the OWNER took care of me. Food was average at best!

This place feels like an Italian family kitchen. The service was great, but it was so loud in there, that I could barely hear the person sitting across from me. The pasta part of my manicotti florentine was wonderful, but the sauce was slightly burnt, and sour. Their garlic bread is different from any Ive had before. It puts Olive Gardens bread sticks to shame..
