Ive never in my life had a worse experience at a restaurant. My husband eats here frequently and it was my first time. I ordered chicken Diablo and fajitas to go. The way they handed me my bags had the piping hot sauce from the chicken Diablo spilling completely out of the container burning my legs. When I arrived at my destination not 5 minutes away everything in the chicken Diablo bag was soaked in the sauce making a ridiculous mess. And on top of that my fajitas were a mess inside the container. I brought the food back and asked for it to be remade due to the condition I recieved the food. The host basically said it was my fault that it was spilled out and theyd only remake the Diablo chicken. I asked to speak to a manager and she refused to let me speak to him. She said wasnt there. So I asked for a phone number to get in contact with him and she wouldnt give me one. I asked for his name and she only told me his first name, Jose, and refused to give me his last name. It took my husband leaving work and coming out to the restaurant to finally get them to remake both meals. I have never been treated that way in my entire life.

My daughter and I ate at this restaurant last week and we thought it was very good. The service was excellent and the food as well. I think that this restaurant will do very well. Compared to the other local Mexican restaurants this restaurant is the best by far. I would definitely recommend eating here. Forget about Cazadores and El Rancho because you will be wasting your money there. Veracruz is way way way better than both of these places.I think the person who rated it one star probably owns one of the other Mexican restaurants and is scared to death that his business or her business is in trouble. Dont pay any attention to the person with the one star rating I have eaten here more since they first review and it has always been outstanding. Keep up the good work you guys rock!

Over 100 menu choices, authentic Mexican food, large array of adult beverages, mixed drinks and wines. Well organized staff, usually no delay with seating, food & appetizers quick & freshly prepared with local ingredients, by professional chefs with each item made from scratch daily. You can choose from menu combos or an ala carte array of wonderful traditional Mexican cuisine. Price are reasonably moderate and everything served piping hot to your exact specifications. Wait Staff are very attentive, helpful & knowledgeable about their craft. Im really impressed with our visit & certain well be coming back on a regular basis. Very impressive place!

Veracruz is a highly underrated restaurant they really put lot of energy to their restaurant after several renovations that was worth waiting. Their latest renovation is beatufully designed carrying the element that makes the visitor feel like he or she is really visiting another country. The service is excellent as I wait for my food to be made I was served delicious chips that tasted they were fresh from the ovan. I can even say the exact same thing with the salsa as well carrying that fresh deilcious taste. The foods are top notch with cusine that really feels like a recipes exclusive to Mexico.

Delicious food. Piquant salsa. Fresh tortilla chips. The night we ate here, the special was fajitas for two with two margueritas or non-alcoholic beverages for $20. The margueritas were delightful, not too sweet and not too dry. The special offered a choice of steak, chicken, or mixed. We had the chicken. It was tender and tasty. The servings were more than ample. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant is not clearly visible from the street. We almost gave up looking for it. Its in a tiny strip mall, set back from the street and behind another building. Im glad we found it.

We ate here the other night. The interior needs redone but we were there for the food and easily look past that sort of thing. The hostess/waitress was nice enough. The food came out quick. The salsa and chips were ok. I would reccomend changing the salsa to a heartier version but that just me.The cheese sauce was good. My steak fajitas were good. Like the other reviews I noticed an authentic attribute to the food. It was simple and well mildly spiced. The option of corn tortillas was a nice touch. The kids meals were ok. No margaritas on Sunday.. I will return.

Came here on my birthday. It was not crowded at all... after waiting about 40 mins to get food, i asked waiter what was going on and he said they were backed up because someone was sick in the kitchen.. 10 mins after i told them we were going to just leave and they asked me to stay in cut the bill in half. I agreed if it would be up soon. 10 mins later still no food so i asked if it was even being cooked yet and they said no.. i told them i was leaving and i did. Dont plan on going back

The flat-out BEST Mexican restaurant in Middletown, and one of the best Ive had anywhere (we moved here from Colorado, so take that as high praise). From the cheapest item to the most expensive, everything is authentic and top-notch. Servers are always friendly and attentive - and on the one occasion that they werent, we were quickly apologized to and the meal continued without a hitch. Try the others, then come back here.

Usually its very good/tastes authentic. However today the food was terrible. Our waitress was okay but the chips were bland, the salsa tasted like it came from kroger, and my Chicken tacos came out on a gross corn tortilla with just Solantra and chicken meat. Tasted bland with little to know flavor, and the beans came in a bowl...was not a nice experience in the least. Wont be coming back here

GREAT MARGARITAS. (at least my uncle thought so)! The customer service is fantastic. You HAVE to try the white cheese dip! (it goes great on anything). My niece was carried in crying, (toddlers have a tendency to do that right when you walk into a restaurant...), but right as we sat down she was given paper and crayons=happy toddler. The prices are great, try the vegetarian taco salad!

The place looks like a run down military chow hall. They painted the windows and walls with bad mexican murals. They only had one servers for about 10 tables in the area I was seated. The music was very loud, we could not hear each other speak. They gave us a tiny 10 ounce plastic cup. The food was not that good and it was very expensive.

Favorite Mexican restaurant in the greater Cincinnati area! Phenomenal selection of items to choose from, including your usual stuff, to more authentic items. Plus great, friendly service...Every. Time. Plus I think its Tues when they have a special, $20 fajitas for 2, AND 2 margaritas. Great deal, cant beat that!

Service was very good, however the fajitas I ordered were way over cooked with zero taste. It looked like they steamed them, no sizzle nor was the steak blakened. The salsa, well not very good either. As someone who used to spend his weekends in Mexico and love authentic Mexican food, I did not find it here.
