My wife and I wanted to go to Ohshima (which we love) but couldnt get a reservation. So we looked up what was nearby and found Yagi Sushi only a few miles away. We arrived at 7pm on a Tuesday and the place was not crowded (yet). We sat down at the bar with chef "Malibu" (not sure his actual Japanese name) and went with the omakase menu. First sign of a good sushi place is that the chef is Japanese. 2nd sign is that the fish are imported from Japan. Unlike omakase at Ohshima, the chef here prepares 6 pieces first, then followed by 4 pieces. The sushi were exquisite! The only "normal" sushi we got were hamachi, bluefin tuna, and Japanese scallop. The others were more exotic: butterfish, toro, kurodai, sawara...). We also got a couple orders of kumamoto oysters and they were just delicious. We ended the meal with the tamago which was delicate and had just the right touch of soy sauce. Overall, a great find. We will be back next time were in the area.

Best sushi around. Get omakase (usually 8-10 pieces of sushi that the chef selects) and be blown away. And only $38, compared with 75+ at other places. This is the only place I will eat real sushi, at other places I will only get rolls because their sushi will only disappoint me.

This maybe the (new) best quality sushi in Anaheim Hills. The prices are a bit higher than Yosuki, however, you can totally taste the differences in quality. We ordered the Omakase, and at a rather reasonable price point, the quality was amazing!

Awesome way to get a quick vegan bite in the Market Street Area. Delicious falafel, and a fair size wrap for a fair price. It was made right in front of me, so I know Im getting fresh food.
