Come here when youre craving a crazy assortment of foods. If youre mad for chicken, you gotta get some of those double-fried wings. The drumsticks are meaty, crispy lollipops of flavor. Between the angry (spicy garlic) and the mad (soy garlic), I preferred being mad over angry. I cant imagine what the extra spicy furious would feel like. Too emotional for me. Coming with a larger group is recommended. That way you can round out your meal with a bunch of different Korean/Japanese/who-knows-where-this-came-from delights. We tried the truffle fries, Crave Is the New Black sushi roll (YUM Is the New Black, amirite?), kimchi pancake, sushi pancake, spicy crab avocado salad, and the okonomiyaki. They also offer a variety of dranks including a communal cocktail involving fire. Another reason to drag all of your friends here. Unless youre also craving drunkenness and want to attempt it on your own. All in all, Crave Mad For Chicken will satisfy.

As previous reviewers have said, this restaurant really goes above and beyond expectations. The waitstaff were very friendly. My partner and I tried the salmon dumplings, which were absolutely phenomenal, and we both had the chicken and waffles special. The waffles were crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the outside, really perfectly cooked. I got the regular soy and garlic chicken, and my partner got the angry garlic chicken. Mine was salty and crunchy, paired very well with the waffles. Hers was very spicy, but she loved it. This is not the "medium" flavor, it really packs a bit of a punch! Great for people who like spicy food. I would absolutely (and already did) recommend this place to a friend. Its hip, delicious, the only downside is that its a bit expensive but I dont mind paying the extra for the quality of food and service!

Overpriced on everything. Service was terrible, they ignored us all night, and they refused to take more than 4 cards for an 8 person group seated in the lounge area. Our group was there for a few drinks later in the evening, not for dinner and they were told as much before we were seated. Their payment policy was not announced to us when we were seated, and was told to us after they gifted themselves a completely undeserved 18% tip for the group. We provided them with exact payment amounts for each card and the owner still refused in a completely disrespectful manner to accept payment through more than 4 cards. There are much better places to spend your money in Chinatown.

Crave is a very interesting half restaurant half club-y bar. The restaurant itself has some of the best Korean BBQ in Boston. The fried chicken is delicious and so is the bim bap. Portions are large and dishes are made for sharing so bring friends! The restaurant has a lounge section that plays top 40 music and serves drinks that are fun and strong. Including a scorpion bowl they light on fire. My biggest complaint about the restaurant is the restaurant and lounge areas arent separate enough so if you want a casual Korean meal this isnt the place for you. It can be loud. But if youre going with a group of friends for a fun night out, Crave is a fun and great restaurant.

I eat at Crave almost every weekend. Crave has great Korean-style chicken wings. Better than BonChon. It can take a little time to serve fresh double-fried Korean-style wings, but its worth the wait. Order wings as soon as you sit down, then think about some sushi or other dish to have as an appetizer. I usually get the "angry" wings as theyre hot enough. The "furious" wings have serious heat. The sushi is good, too. Its not dollar-sushi, but the rolls are good value. I usually get the salmon rolls or the special "Crave is the New Black" (all their special rolls have TV-show themed names). I havent tried much else on the menu. Dont bother with the seafood pancake.

This place is AWESOME! The Korean fried chicken is like no other, flavor is fantastic, its so tender with a crunch on the outside that makes you seriously crave it! perfect name! They make a Jalapeno bomber stuffed with spicy crab, its like nothing I have ever had and not normally something I would eat. The owners are very nice and seem very hands on, every time I have gone, even for takeout lunch they have been there working. The drinks are also amazing, atmosphere is great! I have been MANY times now and can not honestly say one bad thing, other than parking sucks!! and I am not the easiest to please! So... great job Crave, I will be back! ...ALOT!

Im a little bit addicted to Korean style fried chicken, with that distinctive super crunchy skin from double-frying. Everybody goes to BonChon in Boston and theyre good but these are better. Heat ranges from mild (mad) to ultra hot (furious) and you can mix it up for variety. Dozens of hyper entitled Yelpers have already whined about having to wait (gasp!) an extra ten minutes or so, since the wings do take time. Just deal with it and enjoy some of the unusual apps or creative maki rolls. Good bar and cocktail program too. Room is spacious and modern, my only complaint would be the inappropriately loud club music blasted at all hours.

Food was luke warm at best and over an hour and a half late. 2 orders of bibimbop both had over cooked egg and unwashed mushrooms. Quite literally the worst iteration of this dish I have ever had. Appetizer was the wonton mozzarella sticks... Umm the cheese looked like string cheese and was not melted at all. It was completely bland. The "wasabi" marinara, or as the rest of the world calls it, tartar sauce, was so blatantly horseradish that I had to pick a chunk out of my teeth. We paid over 70$ for this slop. Unreal. Do not fall for it. Garbage food at hipster pricing. Id give 0 stars if I could.

Dont expect a lot of fancy frills when you come to Crave, but be ready for some of the most satisfyingly delicious fried chicken Boston has to serve up. The reason? It comes down to the Korean double frying method used, giving the chicken a coating so delicious and crispy that it literally melts off the bone. There are other solid dishes and appetizers, including a pleasant take on kimchi fried rice, but the real reason you come here is because you are craving that devilishly delicious fall of the bone soy and garlic chicken wings.

A bit dissapointed with the food - it was okay fried chicken and tobokki-, the service was slow although they had just opened, and the place wasnt very clean (both plates had food particles on them, the table could have used a wipe down, bathroom looked like it hadnt been cleaned, and when walking by the sushi bar where the server prep station was there were dirty plates piled high...) A place, it seemed, more suited for a younger crowd. Very loud.

Came here for Sunday afternoon lunch (not brunch) and received a great meal as promised. Got the xl chicken combo and this is a style of crispy fried chicken Ive never tried before but will definitely order again. Though everyone in my party enjoys spicy food, the soy garlic is clearly the winning flavor, just add sriracha. Our waitress was also cool enough to recommend the 1/2 order mason jar cocktail for the table, just as unique and satisfying.

Loooove their chicken (we usually order the "Angry" level of seasoning). We always order the chicken, their Jalapeno Bombs, which are delicious and their Kahleesi maki roll. They have really good appetizers and maki rolls, but they are (obviously) known for their fried chicken, which had three levels of spice, a d the second one is a great level if spiciness and flavor. Always try to go here, whenever we can ☺
