We live nearby (Symmes Twp) so we tried carryout one night - best Mexican carryout EVER! Their taquitos and seafood burrito were OUTSTANDING! All the sides (beans, rice, cheese dip, chips) were great too, and they packaged everything up perfectly. A lot of food (and big portions) for the money. Definitely, definitely recommend for anyone in Symmes, Montgomery, Deerfield, Indian Hill, or anyone else who wants to drive there!

After trying 7 Mexican restaurants here in Ohio, we finally found a place on par with what was available in SoCal, and comparable to our favorite, La Siesta. So glad to have discovered El Jinete! The carnitas and shrimp and steak fajitas are a BIG thumbs up! Que rico! Will try my standard measure of a great place next time- a simple beef taco and chile relleno. Margaritas, so good theyre gone. The service was great!

We went to El Jinete about a month or so after it opened. It is a typical Mexican restaurant with nothing particularly standing out from a Don Pablos until the food arrives. Our meal came out so fast it was almost too hot. The burrito and cheese dip was delicious. We will definitely be returning to try out their variety of margaritas. The servers were also very attentive and quick to respond to requests.

This is a nice restaurant with polite staff. The food was good but not authentic Mexican. The mushroom quesadilla was a nice change of pace. The queso dip was very good. I did not care much for the guacamole. I believe it may have had egg in it and tasted a bit sulfury. The decor was nothing special.with mirrors that dated the place and needed a desperate washing.

Tired of the same old Mexican restaurants around our house, decided to try a new place and we will never go back! This place is absolutely worth trying! Salsa is fresh and full of flavor, drinks are on point, and the food was some of the best Mexican cuisine weve had. Great service, nice and clean restaurant. Well be back soon!!

We love visiting this restaurant for margaritas and great Mexican food. The atmosphere is really good and the service is always wonderful. Would recommend this place to anyone. If you are in the area make sure to stop in. Ask for a skinny margarita. This is not something that is one the menu but is really great.

So good. El Ranchito on Five Mile in Anderson closed and we are so bummed. We were out in Montgomery and thought wed try this place. Yummy! The salso is good, the chips are warm. The lunch specials are a good price and you are filled up. And its a great atmosphere for a lunch meeting. Well be stopping by here again!

This place is some of the best mexican food for the dollar in Cincinnati. The staff is 10x better than MANY much more expensive places we go to on occasion. I would highly recommend this palce to anyone looking for a very service friendy restaurant with simply high quality food across the borad.

Our old Mexican fare hangout took a dive in staff and quality, so we looked around for a new favorite. El Jinete is IT!! Super nice inside, everyone is really friendly, the food is great, and service is super fast. Everything you want in a good Mexican feast!
