Yikes! This restaurant looked great from the menu and pictures so my husband and I decided to give it a try - big mistake! Firstly, there is a huge and very important difference between mood lighting and just being plain dim, this building is the latter. After settling on something that looked good, we ordered the seafood rangoons and sesame chicken. The rangoons were interesting, certainly not the usual take on rangoons but not bad. The sesame chicken on the other hand was inedible. I choked down 3 bites to make sure I wasnt exaggerating and sure enough it was still terrible. It was dry, tough, and very bitter. Its a little sad when you enjoy the puffed rice noodles more than the main course. The fried rice was dry to say the least and I had about 2 bites before I stopped. The staff seemed rude and like they couldnt stand us taking up a table. I joked with my husband that the fortune cookie would perhaps be the only palatable thing I ate from this restaurant, i2 was again mistaken. It was honestly the worst asian food I have ever had! Thank goodness were from out of town and have no worries of returning here again!

A couple of days ago we went to Ty Ginger. The food was OK and the decoration excellent. But the service was very, very disappointing. Shortly after we were seated we could hear and see two servers arguing vehemently, totally disregarding the presence of the customers around. One of our orders missed an added on item. When we pointed that out the server just said he would ask the cook to add on. As the food was already put on the table we told him just let it be. But when the bill came it was added in the charge. There was not even a sorry. All the time we were there the server never came to refill water nor ask if the food was satisfactory. When we were leaving no one was saying Good bye. In short, the service was horrible, which was 100% due to poor management and neglect of proper training. Needless to say, we would not come back. In contrast, the Blue Ginger and Royal Ginger on Lane Avenue and Sawmill are much better.

Food was OK but the service was terrible. I came in a hurry to catch up with my friends who were already having their lunch so ordered a dish waiter told me that it comes with a soup and he pointed at the soup options on the menu. Food was served and check was given to each one of us noticed they charged me additional price for the soup. I called the waiter and asked why was i charged, he then said the soup you ordered is additional but you did not tell me. Then the manager/owner came up to us and she said the same ... i did not care much but paid the check and then the owner comes again with the menu one for everyone in the table and points blabbers... in the end she says to me additional $$$ NO BIG DEAL ISNT THAT RIGHT SIR???? i dont think any other restaurant would have dealt like this... She just lost few customers along with many who are not going to go there after seeing this.

If youre gluten free - BEWARE!! Im gluten free and I ordered the Tom Ka soup that is noted as being gluten free. I told the waitress that I was gluten free as well. The soup arrived with a piece of fried dough on the plate........... "Oh yes - sorry thats not gluten free." Then I stirred my soup to find wheat noodles. WHEAT NOODLES in Tom Kha soup. That in itself is weird, but downright bad when its supposed to be gluten free. The Tom Kha soup was loaded with carrots and zuchini and it didnt taste the least bit "Thai." We waited quite a long time for our food, and it was WAY less than average tasting. Maybe one cant expect good Thai in Dublin Ohio, but this wasnt worth anywhere near what we paid for dinner. VERY disappointing, and STEER CLEAR if youre gluten free. They dont get it!

Me and my friend went today and ordered 2 lunch menu items 1. grilled teriyaki checken 2. Red curry Both the items had a really strong fish smell, I took one bite and complanied to waitress. My friend opted for another item and for me they said they cannot exchange it OR replace it, but will not charge so I was OK. My friend is still in restroom as we are I am writing this message, as his stomach is upset after this incident and his half day pay is gone. I have went to this restaurant 3-4 times before, and food was average but this time it sucked big time and the Manager refused to speak with us, what a crap. this is first time ever in more than 15 years I had to actually send something back that I ordered, not a great experience never coming back!!!!

I was going to work here at one point. DO NOT EVER EAT HERE. They do not wash there hands, and they do not clean there plates and silverware very well. Not once did I see anybody wash there hands once. My friend cut himself cooking, and got blood over some food. They told him to just serve the bloody food. They wanted us to do a two week training session of over 100 hours, of UNPAID work. The place is disgusting, and they violate all kinds of health codes and laws. I was never paid for the five hours of work that I did, which is against the law. No matter what anybody tells you, eat somewhere else.

Came here for a work lunch and enjoyed it quite a bit. I ordered the general tso and the fried calamari. General Tso was tasted good with a good lunch portion. The calamari was not cooked at the right temp so the bearing was falling off each piece. Not a big deal though. The atmosphere it clean and open and service is quick. Only real gripe I have is that the prices are a little high for what is basically American style Chinese food. All in all, not a bad place for lunch if you are looking for good American Chinese food.

EXCELLENT service & amazing Asian food. You cant go wrong with anything on the menu. We eat here as often as we can. Exceptionally clean, beautiful restaurant with excellent, friendly, professional staff. I have personally tried almost everything on the menu and nothing disappoints. Fresh, quality ingredients with every meal. Did I mention the wonderful Margaritas & Mojitos.... A great family owned restaurant who truly cares about their customers. Give it a try.... you will return again & again!!

The Ty Ginger Bistro is awesome!!! The food is delicious and they make a grey goose martini that will set you free. His supporting cast of employees are very nice every time we come. The portions of food they give you are better than most and the facility is beautiful. The owner is very personable and friendly, especially his Mom!! Christina & Mykal are great host along with Erica whom has returned home to Taiwan and she will be missed. Stop by and taste it for yourself, you will be pleased!!!!

I had the seared tuna wrap and loved it. The Tom Yum soup however was disappointing. Overall the food is good although fairly localized, as are most Asian restaurants around here. The red curry and green curry dishes are by far my favorite dish here. They do have a happy hour from 2 to 7pm and can cater to large groups. They also have a carry out menu.
