Shong Hey is the greatest Chinese food Ive ever had. I grew up eating there or ordering out every other Friday. They have the best rice, soups, and dinners. Now that Im a father of four the owner gives me free fortune cookies for my kids every time I go to pick up dinner. They will make your order the way you want it. Best egg rolls ever. They will also more than make up for any mistake they make. Only once out of the many times I went their did they give me something I didnt order. They gave me all of my food for free and gave me the soup I wanted. Ive worked with people who know about Shong Hey that grew up an hour away and had it with a friend from downriver and loved it. If you want a family friendly restaurant with the best food go to Shong Hey.

The Food is great, and the servers are very nice. But when I order carry out, the woman who answers the phone is extremely rude, un-helpful, and just says "k" or "that it?" and was unable to provide any details about the food. I asked to speak to the manager and all the manager did was defend the employee by saying "shes having a bad day." That is a terrible excuse and shes treated me that way twice now. I will NOT be going there any longer single handily because of how un-professional the employee is. If management allows her to talk to her customers that way, I cant image what else goes on behind the scenes in the kitchen. SO long Shong Hey.

ordered yang chow fried rice, szechuan shrimp quart szechuan shrimp quart it was 3/4 full the yang chow fried rice ive ordered several times before it was made with ham, chicken lunch meat this time when I called to complain about it the woman on phone said no free food ??? thats all good ill spend my money some place that cares about what they serve customers EAT SOME PLACE ELSE THAT WANTS YOUR BUSINESS

For a seedy looking joint with no windows, the food is absolutely some of the best Chinese in the area. Nothing ever comes out soggy like a lot of cheap or Americanized joints, everything is hot, fresh and crispy. The General Tsos, Almond Chicken, Orange Chicken, Lemon Chicken, and Sweet & Sour are all great. The wonton and egg-drop is good, and the egg-rolls are some of the best.

My partner and I and our grandmother just went here today. Had really great service. The people are really nice. Great prices for what you get. The food is delicious! Plus, the food didnt take long to be brought to you. We were very satisfied. And we WILL definitely come back here again! Waaaaaay better than Panda Express and their crappy customer service.

Chicken fried rice was horrible tasted like pork and chicken mix gritty hot dog like taste...and omg the egg rolls were so oily the bag they were in had oil leak to the bottom..yeah they give u a lot but its for a reason lol and the dine in is dingy unsanitary and cluttered do yourself favor AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE I barely rate it as a 1star!!

Nice, clean, pleasant little place. The food is very good, abundant and the servers are very nice. Excellent egg rolls unless you are a fan of the typical cabbage stuffed variety. You get a lot of food for the price. My husband and I have never finished our orders in just 1 and usually not even 2 meals. Very quick, hot and fresh Carry-Out.

While the decor is a bit dingy, the food is delicious and you get plenty of it for the price you pay. Almost every time I go here I get dinner for that night and lunch for the next day. Service is pretty good here as well. Not phenomenal, but what do you expect from a small Chinese diner?

Me and my mom go here a lot and its really good I really recommend the egg rolls and the egg drop soup plus the sweet and sour chicken with the chicken rice , the staff if really nice and the food comes out hot and fresh the prices are very very good

Shong Hey has set my standard for Chinese food since I was a kid. Ive lived all over the U.S. and Ive never found another egg roll/spring roll like they make here. Truly well done all around.

Their food has always sucked. My mother ordered take out and found glass in her food, upon calling they told her she was lying said it was impossible, then hung up on her. Eater BEWARE.
