Best crab Rangoon in Mankato. The fried meat dumplings are also absolutely fantastic. I love coming here for lunch buffets as well as dinner takeout. The staff has always been friendly and ordering over the phone was easy; never been any mistakes or miscommunication on orders. Our family has been regular customers for many years and will continue to come here when we are craving fantastic takeout. Recommend Honey Chicken, Sweet and Sour, Lemon Chicken, Beef and Broccoli, Sesame, Orange, and General Tso.

Ive dined in and ordered from here off and on for years but sadly got food poisoning not too long back. So did my boyfriend and his friend (the friend eating there on a separate occasion). We have went elsewhere since. On a lighter note, the food usually is tasty when youre in the mood for Chinese.

Orange chicken was bland and over cooked. Hunan chicken not at all spicy. Not worth the near $25 spent on two entrees and cream wantons. Wouldnt recommend. Wont return. Save yourself the money and buy some microwaveable chinnese food from Hy-vees freezer section. Total bummer.

Great locally owned family business. The owners are nice, but could be more personable and engaging with customers. The food tastes good, and the serving size is big! You can easily make it a lunch and dinner for one. The crab rangoons are delicious!

Hunan Gardens is geared towards lunch buffet and take out. The food is average for a Chinese restaurant, but when I do take out here, I get so much that I easily get 2 meals out of it. At $8 for a dinner special you get more than enough food.

Go here all the time. This place is great. They take their time with preparing the food and its always hot and fresh. Never had a bad experience in the year I was here. Highly recommend and this place should get more publicly.

Its a fine place to go for some Chinese food. The only thing I would like them to change is when we buy the buffet we should be able to take out our drink that came with it, its only styrofoam cup lol.

Not the best, not the worst. Egg roll was really good, crab rangoon was sweet and not one shred of crab or krab in it, Gen. Tso chicken had no heat to taste, fried rice is meh.
