This is one of those places thats run by people who truly, truly care. I visited Eat, Purr, Love a few months ago, shortly after a situation that affected my memory majorly. I forgot my sweater there, and weeks went by before I could get it back. What I do remember is how kind the manager was in particular <3 She remembered me and my story (I couldnt remember my visit, really, except for how kind everyone had been) and asked how I was getting along. She really cared. They had saved my sweater in a plastic bag to protect it. Personal things aside, they do such a wonderful job taking care of the little furry ones as well :) All of this can attest to the love that goes into this place! Instead of getting a kitten that will undoubtedly find a household to belong in, think about adopting in general! The great thing about adopting is you can meet your furry friend and tell their personality right away, instead of being unsure and having to wait for them to grow up to show their true colors!

What an amazing idea and execution! When I first heard about this place on Kickstarter, I thought of all of the challenges that have to come along with it and didnt see how they could get around the hurdles. Thankfully they were able to and the end result is outstanding! We went on a Saturday dueling their second week of being open and they had 8 cats on hand to play with. By that time they had already had over a dozen cats adopted who would have otherwise been in a shelter. Even more amazing is these are adult cats; which are typically harder to find a home. They had a section of the wall devoted to pictures of all the cats who had found homes through the Cafe; it was so inspiring to see. I do wish they had more cats when we were there, but the owner said they had more coming that afternoon and gave us half off our next visit as a courtesy. We spent a very relaxing hour there playing with the different cats, and will definitely be back again!

This is an amazing time at a great price! Only ten dollars for an hour with the cats. It is beautifully decorated and surprisingly good smelling. The workers are kind and helpful. The cats are labeled based on their adoption status and affection levels, which was super helpful. The atmosphere was calming ans perfect for a cat experience. There are cat orientated books and games as well. The place has thought of everything from a selective choice of cat toys, to comfortable seeting, green products, and a fantastic menu! The vegan items were a special surprise for me as a vegan who never gets to experience many sweets. They even offer a fun punch card for frequent visitors. My experience was worth while and I will absolutely be returning to support their commendable efforts and to enjoy myself after a long week of cat free activities! I would recomend this place to all cat lovers!

Absolutely love it here! This was where I took my girlfriend on our first date and I just went with a group of 12 to destress from finals and both times it was such an awesome experience. Its so clean, homey and relaxing and the cats were very interactive and friendly. The staff is also very friendly and the Owner is a total pleasure. The work they do with these cats is also fantastic and they do a great job taking care of them and making sure they get adopted. I highly recommend.

The idea is cute and they are really helping kitties, but I am disappointed that those who live in the neighborhood cannot enjoy a normal coffee shop/sit down and maybe read without paying 10$ an hour! I think that they should reserve a room (not just the entrance) to those who just would like to sit down and grab a coffe without the kitties, it would really help their business and people would really come more often.

It stinks when you first walk in. Its not even a cafe either. You can get tea, or coffee out of a kuereg and wrapped up food from a bakery down the street. Then you pay ten dollars an hour to hangout with 12 cats. Why would I do that when I can go to a coffee shop and then to cat welfare where I can spend time with 30+ cats and kittens for free? Maybe a good idea in San Diego but not in Columbus.

I went yesterday for the first time. It was friendly, clean, plenty of space to sit and visit with a friend while petting or playing with a cat. I think they are brilliant to limit the number of people, so call if you can for a reservation. We didnt feel like we had to compete with anyone to meet a kitty. It was fun talking to the staff about the personalities of the cats.

Love this place! Located next door to the coolest cinema and the greatest tattoo studio, Eat Purr Love fits in perfectly with the quirk and charm of this neighborhood. Clean facilities, friendly staff, easy to understand system with adopting the resident cats. I fell in love with one of them and brought her home after a simple, caring process. Highly recommend!

This place is wonderful! There is plenty of comfy seating, coloring books, games, reading books, and of course snuggly cats!! I had a great time. This business is excellent for the community - providing a calm, relaxing place for humans and an opportunity for kitties to be socialized and adopted. Keep it up!

Just a café full of cats. The drink selection is things made in a keurig and the baked goods are supplied by Pattycake Bakery. The cats were cute and some of them cuddled. Overall good experience, would definitely come again. Hopefully theyll expand the café part in the future.

Definitely emphasizes more of the Cat in the name Cat Cafe. As long as you are fine with that arrangement, you will love this place. A really great idea for those looking to adopt a cat. The cats are very relaxed in this environment and so are the people.

Didnt have many cats on my visit. Cats also didnt really interact. Received a 50% off coupon for next visit due to so few cats. Will return hoping for a better experience. The location is very clean, smells nice, and is very homey and relaxing.

So relaxing. New favorite way to unwind and de-stress <3 Employees are incredibly nice and helpful, and there is a variety of personality types among the cats. Youre bound to find one you love, if not all of them :)

Do note that weekends are currently busy enough that reservations are needed. Aside from that, however, this is a nice, comfortable experience that you thought only Japan would have.

Such a fantastic little place. Love that they give the cats a chance to be around people instead of locked up in cages. Little slice of heaven for cat lovers.
