The wife and I went here on a Saturday morning. It was not too busy when we arrived but was certainly jumping by the time we left. The coffee was very good and the selection of games had something for everyone. We started out playing a couple games we knew well. Then it was my turn to pick something out. I was browsing the library when one of the staff approached me and started talking about the games we like, etc. Eventually he persuaded me to try Imhotep, which I have heard of and seen played online once. We enjoyed the game enough to play it twice (and even ended up buying a copy for ourselves) so kudos on the recommendation. All in all it was a good time in a relaxing, well lit and clean place. The staff were great and we will be back again when we next visit Columbus.

This place is incredible. They have amazing empanadas, coffee, staff, and game selection. They even have a game store section, too. Theres a kid area for toddlers and younger children, as well as a lot of fun kid games. There are tons of kid friendly foodstuffs as well, including juice boxes and paddles of candies and snacks. They put an incredibly unique spin on cafe/library, providing an amazing atmosphere that breeds friendships. The staff is willing to help you learn and play games, as well as find you other people to play with if you need more players. I would recommend this place to anyone of any age, as long as theyre up for awesome games, people, and empanadas!

Nice spot with a great library of games. Its nice that the "cover charge" can be spent on things like coffee, teas, beer, and snacks instead of just a house fee plus purchase drinks (like Kingmakers). Clean, pretty comfortable. The one thing that I do really appreciate from Kingmakers that wasnt present here (and is worth their house fee) is the "concierge" setup assistance that helps you get started with a new game so you dont have to try to learn it from scratch and just hope that youre interpreting the rules correctly. The Tabletop staff was really friendly and energetic in general, however.

A few weeks ago this would have been a 5, but the service as gone steadily downhill. I ordered empanadas, 40 minutes later I was leaving and told them I never got them so I wanted them taken off my bill. They informed me that they had burned them and thrown them away. They didnt think of heating up new ones? Or informing me they had burned? Also stopped to use the restroom on the way out. I would feel safer elsewhere. The doors lock was broken, there were no paper towels, and there was loss all over the floors and toilet bowls. I checked both bathrooms, they both had piss everywhere.

Huge game library, plenty of seating, and tasty snacks and empanadas (our favorites are corn & cheese and ham & cheese) make this one of our favorite family hangout spots. Just spend at least $6 per person and while away the hours. I didnt have much luck finding random people to play with when I tried on a meet up type night so Id recommend coming with a friend or on RPG nights of you want to join a group. Recommend for preschool age and up sonce there is an area for smaller children (but you will need to supervise them). Both restrooms are gender neutral.

Super fun place! There are no library fees and you can play for as long as you want to. If you dont have someone to play with they give you little cards that say youre looking for people. Ive played with strangers and made friends as much as I went with friends to play. The food is super yummy and I think using it to pay for the games, lights, employees, etc is a much nicer idea than having a library fee because at least I can play games and have empanadas for a similar cost to if I just went somewhere else.

Tabletop is a great place to play some games! They have a good selection of board games which they conveniently make available online. The staff is extremely courteous without being "in the way" of playing your games. There is a surprising amount of space which is really nice because you dont feel cramped. Its also very clean! There is a $6 minimum charge, but this is different than the "cover fee" of other board game places have, where you pay just to get in.

The staff are lovely people. I help run an event once a month there and they are very accomodating. They serve cute little dishes for snacks that taste great and their selection of board games is quite large. Any number of people can find a game to play and chill. whether its 2 or 12 theres something for everyone. On a side note, they do have a minimum charge for guests which is sad but its not substantial (~$6)

Wonderful place. They have a great selection of games. And the guys there are fairly capable of explaining them if youre unsure. They ask that you spend $6, which is very fair. However, I personally feel that the food prices are a little higher than I would like, but not prohibitively so. They do have a great selection of snacks, though. There is beer, wine, tea, and pop. I will be returning often.

Good munchies and amazing selection of board games. If you are hungry hungry, definitely stop somewhere before you go because all the foods are more snack like than truly filling. The staff are amazing and will not only suggest new games, but will also take the time to teach you as well. All in all one of the best places in Columbus to just sit chill and have some good natured fun.

I went for the first time yesterday and it was a great experience! The staff was very nice and helpful, there were so many different board games (including ones that Id been drooling over for ages), and there were lots of tables to play on. The atmosphere was very casual and welcoming and the drinks and snacks were great to have too. I cant wait to go back again! Highly recommend.

As of right now (7:50pm 06-13-2017) the site shows there open so me and my friend drive out to the location only to find it is closed due to a private event! If you plan to close your place to host something like this you need to put up some warning on your site that your doing so that way people dont drive all the way out there for nothing!

This is a great place to bring your whole family. I took my wife and 9-year old son, none of us being experienced gamers. The food, snacks, and drinks cater to all ages and tastes. The staff are very friendly. Oh, and the games are fun. We all had an excellent time and will most definitely be coming back.

Tabletop is pretty wonderful. What distinguishes this gaming parlor is that your $6.00 library fee can buy you a drink (cafe OR alochol), food (the empanadas are pretty great) or to towards the purchase of a game from their retail collection. Unlike other parlors you are not paying JUST to enter.

Great place to meet people, hang out, have some empanadas and snacks, and play some great board games. Staff is thoughtful. No corking fee for the board games. Instead there is a $6 minimum for snacks, food, our drinks. Great selection of games. Thanks for making this happen in Clintonville!
