Went to Brick and Barley on a Wednesday night. They had 7 people staffed that we could see. As we sat down, we were greeted with menus, asked if we were ordering drinks, we said yes, and our server walked away. We were left with our drink menus and dining menus to look over. After about 10-15 minutes, someone from our group of 3 on a slow night, went up to the bar to finally order drinks. After we ordered two beers and a blueberry Moscow Mule, we were told they were out of Moscow Mule cups and so they served it in a short plastic cup. We later saw a table next to us being served the appropriate copper cup a Moscow Mule should be served in. As I ordered a second drink, asking the same I had before, they served it as a blueberry soda, so I sent it back, and still had a blueberry Moscow Mule in a short plastic glass, as we just watched again, the table next to us receive the appropriate copper cup. I dont mind a Moscow in a smaller, non copper cup, but we were never even asked or given the option for a copper cup. I was the only one out of three to order food. I had read that the entrees came with a choice of listed sides. So I ordered the Fish Poboy with no bun and a side salad. Never offered the side salad our first, so I was surprised when I got the meal as walleye fingers, with fries and a side salad. We were charged $5 extra for the side salad, even though it was my requested side choice-not fries. As we were sitting there, we saw multiple people sit down, wait, and have to go to the bar to order. Very poor service as we had 3 different servers our entire time there, not impressed with the specialty drink quality, and food was not great for what was ordered. Not recommending this to friends or family...sorry.

I have been there 3 times and every time the service was no good and very slow. I ordered a tall drink and the server ASSUMED that I wanted double shots. I said tall not double. But they decided since they served me doubles that I would be charged double price for each drink. So I asked for a glass of diet coke to pour some of the drinks in to portion the alcohol. They brought me a flat pop. Then to top all of that off, my food was burned. I had to send it back to the kitchen. I had two others in my group and they both were drinking two different kinds of tap beer. The first 3 beers were flat. There service was terrible. I would not recommend this place.

The wife and I love this place. The beers might be a little on the expensive side, but thats the price you pay for good quality beers that you might not be able to get anywhere else in town. There are so many good menu choices that we have been going every Sunday when were in town so that we can try them all. Weve had the same young male waiter each time and hes always friendly. It might take a little extra time sometimes to get food but we just like to sit and relax at the outside tables anyway. If youre in a rush, that might be something to consider.

Great tap selection and trendy downtown location. Service CAN be great if you get a good server but sadly, the staff can seem more likely to be visiting with each other by till more than checking up with patrons. Food has a unique variety but can be lacking at times. If you just want to meet downtown and are feeling a bit too old or mature to want to actually be "DT", B&B is a very good fit.

Worst service Ive ever had in my entire life. I counted at least 8 servers working at one time and took me and my group of 4 total people a half hour to even get drinks and another HOUR till all of us got our food. Probably wont ever go back which is a shame because the food was quite good aside from the fact that the 4 of us are now fighting over 1 toilet.

Wife and I were to lazy to cook tonight and stopped in for a bite. The BLT Bomber with fried egg was excellent! The service was good, but the food was a little on the slow side (and it wasnt that busy, not that we were in any hurry). Very nice atmosphere. Pricing was decent for the food they serve.

Brick and barley probably has the best and the most tap beer in grand forks. In addition, they have fantastic food, including vegetarian options for most entrées. These, coupled with their great service makes it my favorite place to grab a beer and something to eat in Grand Forks

Brick and Barley is pretty good, especially during their tap-takeover events. The food is merely so-so and the service is only above-average. Still, its a clean place with a nice beer menu. Large and therefore sometimes crowded with blackjack tables for those who gamble.

Thank you owners for firing the waitress who refused service to the customers simply because they were Trump supports. Your business ethics on how you corrected the problem ASAP shows how much you care about your customers. Wish you guys much success, MAGA

New favorite place in GF! Best beer selection in town, and they have growler options so you can bring home that awesome beer you discovered too. Fish Po Boy was great, servers very friendly, and they have pool, darts, and best of all, FOOSBALL.

They have an okay beer selection, always changing. The service is very slow and the food is slightly above bar food, but not the restaurant quality they claim. I once had clearly a slice of pre wrapped cheese on my food, it wasnt a burger.

Im a resident of Fargo, and when we travel up to Grand Forks for Sioux Hockey this has got to be one of my favorite places to visit. The food is great, the atmosphere is outstanding, and they have 48 Beers on Tap. How could you go wrong?

The food was good. Lots of tap beers to choose from (40 tap beers). The dartboard was horrible every other shot the board kept resetting other than that it was a great experience. Lots of TVs for watching sports.

A local staple. I enjoy the food and drinks here, though the service has been on and off. Sometimes Ill be seated by the hostess and no server will wait on me, sometimes I have great service. Great beer selection.

Waited over an hour for food and it wasnt even busy. Waitress never came and checked on us. Waited another 20 minutes for the check. Food was ok but the fries were way too salty. Wouldnt recommend

One of the most disappointing restaurants in the area. Service is horrible and the food is subpar. The staff has an attitude every time Ive gone and the food comes cold and is not worth the price.

They have a pretty good beer list, much of which gets updated regularly if you like to try new things. Weve also had good experiences with the boneless wings, fries, and sandwiches.

A larger selection of beers that are always changing. The food is really good, too. It does get way crowded on the weekends and Long Islands are cheap on Thursdays
