The girl and I mean "girl" that took my order on the phone was rude. She didnt greet me or anything on the phone, she just said hold please and put me on hold. Came back on the line and didnt thank me for holding or apologize for the hold and just said what can I get you. I gave her my order, she told me the price and ticket number and hung up. Then when I went inside to pick up my food she once again didnt greet me and just said "Yes Maam"! I told her I had a pick up order and what I had, she grabbed the ticket, never once smiled and made little eye contact. I handed her my card, she swiped it and walked away not specifying to me which one of the 3 bags sitting on the counter was mine. I assumed it was the same one she later told me it was, after I asked but just didnt want to pick up someone elses food by mistake. This was one of the most unwelcoming terrible experiences Ive had in awhile. But I will NEVER give them my business or money again since its definitely not appreciated.

Just left from here!!! I love the food and prefer this Japanese spot over any in greensboro, normally. But today I went in and asked for my usual (2 teriyaki chicken, 1 with no onions). All of a sudden today the girl at the register informed me that I would have to pay an extra 2 dollars to get the other 2 vegetables. So I asked her "Dont the vegetables include zucchini, broccoli, and onions?" She stated rudely "yes, but to separate them would cost 2 dollars extra!" Never had I been told this and I have been getting the same thing for the past year now! I said whatever and just picked 1 vegetable since that was the only option without paying extra! Did NOT appreciate the girl being so rude, get better customer service of you plan on keeping loyal customers! My family will probably be looking for a new favorite Japanese spot!

Its busy for a reason. Im here pretty regularly and I have to say that. If the food sucked it wouldnt be so busy. If youre the impatient type like me most days, you can always call in your order. That way you can just go pick it up. You also have the option of going at different hours. Around 2-5 the wait isnt bad at all. After 8 it slows down except for on the weekends. The people who work here are really nice and I love that you know your food is cooked fresh for you. They give you a lot of food for a very reasonable price too. You just have to be strategic I guess. Its worth it for me so I keep going back.

Worst lunch experience ever!!! The place was busy, I ordered my food. 35 minutes later - still nothing. I had to ask twice. They finally took someone elses order and gave it to me. Hibachi chicken doesnt take that long to cook! They were not putting the orders in the order recevied. People that came in 15 minutes after me got their food before I did. The most unorganized chaos Ive ever seen. I cant even enjoy the food because I used my entire lunch break just waiting on a stupid order. Will never eat there again.

Expect a wait, because this place is always packed for a reason. Service does a good of a job as they can with the limited space and high demand. Food is always great and worth the wait. (Edit I went today at 11:45am and there was no wait, so pro tip get there early). Also the previous reviews complaining about having to fill your own sauce for to go orders (which I never had a problem with) seem to have been listened to. Now there is a cooler full of pre-filled labelled sauce cups with lids to quickly grab and go)

My wife and I eat at Kobe quite often and we are alway very pleased with the food. The woman who works the counter is pleasant but the man who covers for her doesnt have a personality. Who cares? He takes your order and that is all that matters. The white sauce is great and I have never seen it not busy. I highly recommend Kobe for lunch or dinner if you like fair prices and good food.

I love this place. Never been disappointed by the food. You get big portions for a low price and it tastes good. I saw others complaining about the service but Ive never had any trouble with that, they are nice and do their job. I think people get the idea that they are rude because I think several of the workers speak very little English. It is crowded but its a quick eating place.

The food is the best habatchi in Greensboro! The ginger and white sauce are to die for! It is always busy durring lunch. Great lunch specials! The people who take your orders are not rude they are just busy! I really dont care because the food is awsome! They do need a larger place. Seating is hard to come by. Go a litte before lunch hour to get faster service!

What kind of restaurant expects you to make your own sauce for a to go order? Especially when they charge you extra for each additional sauce? What a crock! I live 30 minutes away and when I call to explain I have no sauce with my order, theyre like...Happy New Year! So sorry. Forget this place. They didnt even have a manager on duty. On New Years Eve!

Food is good but seating is hard to come by. They have Sushi on their menu but only make it when the person who can make it is working. Very packed. Should really invest in a bigger space so people arent running into each other, bumping into tables, and not able to get a drink/sauces. Staff could be more personable.

It seems like a quick lil habachi bar. Its cute & clean. The food is actually legit ! 11/10. Super fresh scallops. I wish the put a little bit more effort into there decor and Im not gonna lie, the paper plates threw me off. Lol but it was delicious & I would tell any & everyone to check it out

The food is good and the prices are fair enough but there is always at least a 30min wait to get your order (always call your order in early to cut down the wait)! The staff are minimally interactive with customers, if you want service with a smile look elsewhere but they get the job done.

I thought the food was good but I have to agree with others that the service sucks. The MAN AT THE REGISTER HAS THE WORST ATTITUDE EVER, and because of that i prob wont go back. I will just stick with Tokyo Grill on Market Street, they have great food and awesome service.

Great food at a great price, but the service.... its beyond slow. They really should invest in building expansion. They customer base is exceptionally big for a building that small which creates a long wait time. Other then that, the food is great as stated before.

Very poor service. The girls that work the register are super rude. I got the "big shrimp" plate and almost every piece of shrimp was NOT deveined and was way over cooked. Paid $10.50 for that and a drink. Total waste of money. Definitely wont be going back.
