My wife and I got a flier in the mail today and decided to try this place out. We ordered take out and brought it home. This was perhaps the worst Japaneses food we have ever eaten in our entire lives.The staff was as flavorless as the food. Seriously, this food was bad. The noodles were crazy thick and almost inedible. In the Bento box, there was a spoonful of rice and about 12 oz. of onions under a baby chicken breast.The soups tasted fresh out of the can. ZERO FLAVOR! The only thing half way good was the salad. NEVER EAT HERE! You will be severely disappointed and angry like us. Total waste of money. We called to tell them about our horrible food and the person on the phone had no clue or care of what we were speaking of.

Visited for a simple, light sushi roll dinner. We werent interested in salad, miso, or drinks, and I think I disappointed our server in opting for sushi only! :D Regardless, the sushi was tasty. I was a bit disappointed in the Angry Dragon roll, as it was supposed to include spicy tuna. It must have such a small amount as to be unnoticeable or the chef left it out entirely. Im interested in visiting again when in Mt. Pleasant, perhaps to try some of their lunch specials which everyone seems to rave about on review sites.

Im often annoyed by review inquiries, but the fact and Im making this one says enough. I visited 10 different sushi establishments in the past 14 days across the country and the only other establishment that meets this level of service and quality is a planet sushi in Miami Beach. The atmosphere was great the service was phenomenal and the food, well all I can say is wow. I would definitely recommend this establishment to any true sushi lover!

Worst food I have ever had I dont write much reviews but this needs to be heard we walked in the staff looked mad and were mad the whole time and on there phones horrible costumer service food was gross my father got sick from the tuna and even the California roll wasnt good the soda was used with gross water I felt sick I well I feel like we paid 100$ to get sick

Weve been regulars (read weekly) here for over a year, and Sushi Taro is hands down our favorite Asian restaurant in the area. In fact, weve been stationed all over the US, and its better than any Japanese restaurant in DC! Every dish weve tried has been superb...the service is excellent, and Eddie makes you feel like family. Try it; you wont regret it!

Amazing sushi!! The onion soup and ginger salad were excellent as well. They also had a neopolitan ice cream dessert on top of a brownie, which was delicious. I went there last week on a whim driving around and it was a very pleasant surprise. The service was wonderful too. My husband and I are definitely coming back!!

I frequent many Japanese restaurants around the country (honolulu, San Diego, Yokohama Japan)... food was fantastic! Cant say enough... garlic edamame was delicious! Yellow tail and salmon sashimi was killer! Enjoy!
