My husband and I had lunch there with our two year old. It costs us 42.80 to get a very small portion of chicken and steak. We had to get rice we didnt even have the choice of vegetables. My husband ordered some which they charged him an additional 4.50. My son and I got Shirley temples, again my son is two and it was 6.50. Each combo was 13.00. I recommend nobody to go there for their lunch special is purely robbery. They should have just been asking for all our cash when I walked in the door and our truck keys because the cash didnt even cover the bill. Then on top of it they have the audacity to say 18% tip is 7.07!!!! 50.00 for two people to eat? Great managing owen. Your business should close down if you want to take a ten dollar meal and turn it into a fifty dollar one!!!!!

Very disappointed in your summerville restaurant and staff, we came to eat dinner there with our family of 4 on Saturday the 14th of February. There was nothing stating on your website that you are strictly a reservation only. When we got there we were told that we had to make a reservation to eat there, we went outside to call and then were told that you were not excepting walk-ins or reservations. For the first time ever going to a restaurant this is very disappointing. We were highly recommended to you by friends and were told we could just walk in and eat there and when we get there it was different. I honestly have to say we will never eat at your restaurant and I will let everyone I know how horribly we were treated.

We just moved to the area and Yokoso has quickly become our favorite Japanese restaurant! The service is great - weve been during rush hours and slower times. The chefs are hilarious and make dining with them a lot of fun. Also, the food is amazing. No matter the chef, you get quality delicious food every time! We love coming here. After trying the other Japanese steakhouses in the area, Yokoso beats them all, hands down! Not to mention, their prices are great, and theyre even open for lunch! The cheery on top of this wonderful restaurant is that many of the employees Pokemon trainers, too! ^_^ Thanks Yokoso for being so awesome! :3

First, I agree with reviewer Josh below; we also had a delightful Hibachi experience with Chef Juicy. Secondly, we had no problems with being rushed out after our dinner, and we dined on a Friday Night, which was very crowded - 1hr+ waiting times. We had used the Call ahead seating and we were seated almost immediately, in front of several customers already waiting - that did NOT call ahead for reservations. Meal was tasty, and well priced in my opinion. We typically have Hibachi 3 or 4 times a year, usually here or Wasabi, and have had similar experiences at both.

Food is good but when your wait staff literally comes to the table the moment the chef leaves and asks of youd like a box to go and the check, you get the feeling youre being rushed right out of the door. For the money you pay there, thats not a good feeling. Never got a drink refill, waiter kept coming over only to ask if we were ready for box and/or check. Was a nice enough person, but the pushing us out the door when it was just me, my mother, and one other family there and NO LINE there was no point in the hurry. Good food, work on customer appreciation.

Had good experiences in the sushi area. But we wont be back. Tried to have a decent celebration meal at the hibachi area. Literally right after the cook was done, the waitress brought out to-go boxes and tried to get us out of there for the next tip. Several of us explained we were still eating, but she insisted on rushing us, and said "dont feel rushed" but she picked up our plates pretty much. We didnt even have a chance to have a conversation at the table prior to the cook leaving.

You walk in awesome atmosphere with stars above and you are greeted with a warm welcome. The drinks are delicious and affordable. I got the Green Geisha which is tasty and I got the teriyaki chicken with fried rice which is amazing. For dessert got the lava cake which was perfect. Overall this place rocks and could be happier. This is my go to Japanese food restaurant. Perfect service and tasty food I loved my experience.

Food was, at best, mediocre. The preparation show was the least impressive of any I have seen at this type of restaurant. My date actually left most of her food because of the quality . So, from an experienced and a value point of view I rate this is one of my least enjoyable experience. They offered to replace her meal, but then same the same that the first one would be charged to the preparer. Now that is just poor.

We dont mind waiting for good Japanese food, but we arrived at 6:50 pm and were told it would be 45 min to an hour at the most. We were finally seated at 8:30 and ordered, but the cooking didnt start until 9:10pm. NOT worth the wait. We have always gone to Wasabi but thought we would try something new. We will return to Wasabi next time. I wish they would have been honest in the wait time.

We WERE long time customers until we got the same cook the last two times that calls himself "Chef Juicy" Both times hes cursed, made "white boy" and "cracker" jokes that we had to explain to our 5 and 9 year olds upon leaving. Making comments about "getting tail" tonight was the last straw. Your "Juicy" fruitcake cost you a LONG TIME customer (typically 7 of us).... Bye Felicia....

Walking in we were greeted by a lovely young lady who seated us promptly. The atmosphere was energetic and welcoming. Our waitress, Erika, was an absolute delight! I have no idea how she ran the entire section by herself, smoothly might I add, and kept our drinks full. The food was as delicious as its presentation. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

Awful service asked for a min to look at the sushi menu and had to ask for the servers where abouts after 25 mins then of course now everything is going to come to the table at once. Sushi was good but wrapped way to loose when it comes apart when you pick it up. Will not be going back. Now I know why Wasabi had such a long wait and this place didnt

Es tranquilo y divertido para cenar porque tu ves como te preparan tu comida y tienes que ir sin comer todo el día par que comas lo que te van a servir .

I have been going to Yokoso for 10 years. My family eats here regularly and the food has remained consistent and good. Sushi and steak are always fresh. This is my go to place for dinner and everyone I have taken there has loved it! The chefs are always personable and entertaining, especially the white/Korean guy. Awesome customer service!

Great atmosphere, low lights, nice star light display on the ceiling by the host. Quick seating most times. Make sure you try to put a seat in between you an other guests, otherwise, you will be very squished and praying for elbow room. The cooks Ive had so far have all been great and much better that Katsu in North Charleston.
