Okay so the atmosphere is fine I will give it four stars for comfortability. But my husband ordered the western omelet with wheat toast and homefries. The home fries with the oily so I assume they were fresh and hot but to my surprise it was very cold the wheat toast was very cold the butter didnt melt but the western omelet he gave it 4 stars. I ordered a cheeseburger well-done with tomatoes and lettuce only, my burger came back medium what lettuce tomatoes and pickles. My fries were cold. But all in all we enjoyed each others company and then environment was really nice. will I go back no but it was a great experience.

Warm tavern atmosphere brings you back to the days when GW must have spent some time near by planning the battle of Bayonne. Burgers were amazing, fresh cut red onion rings nicely done, and the best steak fries Ive had. They cut them in the classic half rounds, but extra thin so they get crispy. Good selection of local microbrews and a decent list of crafted cocktails.

Delicious Burger. The fries are fresh, the price is good . 9 dollars get a real burger w/ fries then a 8 buck Burger King meal down the road. Never had any desert, but the the stuff looks delicious. If too hot in there for the summer, take out is great. Ranch is gr8 compliment to the fries. I like that theyre speaking English there too

AVOID THIS PLACE !!!!! My lady friend and me went there for Sunday Lunch and she found a good sized COCKROACH in her meal ! The Staff was very rude and indifferent and grudgingly comped us our meal ..... There are far better places to eat than this pest hole and their standards of cleanliness are abyssmal !

Bernardsville Cafe has been a favorite since I moved here. Whenever I go, I always get their amazing steak burrito. Another great thing is that they deliver. There are not that many stores in bernardsville that deliver so its really great if I just want to stay home and relax with a streak burrito.

Food was Good. However the dining experience left Much to be desired. Poor wait staff( inexperienced or just plain lazy/ dumb?) , poor environment (fire hazard / maneuverability issues) . Very messy as well. Get it Together Bernards Cafe, its almost a Wonder this place has made it over 10 years.

This place is pretty good. It is nice on the inside, and the food is good. I always have the Penne Vodka with Shrimp, and it is good. Also, the service is great, staff are friendly and nice, and this is a really great place in Bernardsville. I recommend coming here for breakfast and lunch.

Very Good food .. however front girl/cashier had really bad attuide and terriable customer service... Speaks with disrespect and left me waiting while she have side talks with her friends.... i would advise to treat customers with more respect ....i would think twice before going back

I am new to the area and recently discovered Bernards Cafe. I had the three cheese Grilled Cheese sandwich, which included Havarti cheese and avacado. To die for. Best grilled cheese I ever had. Will definitely retutn.
