The food here is ok, but the ordering process is chaotic. After ordering two menu items with one being GF, we were rushed through the line having to look over other peoples shoulders at the counter because it was backed up from the register. Being my first time here I was confused why I was being asked about toppings but chose them anyway. At this point my wife coming behind asks what is the GF option instead of the bread, and was rudely told she should have mentioned it at the beginning. Which she did, and was then asked 6 more times if she mentioned it at the start. It appeared to be a case of the blame game instead of fix it and move on. Now to paying, where both meals are rung up as a more expensive make your item option, not what we ordered. When we challenged the price the girl at the register could not comprehend the issue and had no basic math skills. 11+11 was completely beyond her capability. So we just paid and sat to eat. At this point we were both aggravated, but the food was decent enough. Im not in the area often, and the food wasnt good enough to warrant a special trip. The rest of the experience was awful and put the final nail in the coffin. I wont go back, there are many better options in the area.

Decided to try Yafo restaurant for dinner with friends. The restaurant had bright interiors and lot of comfortable seatings. The outdoor space was beautiful with benches and pillows but that day was too cold to sit outside. The Mediterranean restaurant had a real easy menu. You choose between a wrap, bowl or a hummus and you get to choose the greenies, sauces and protein just like any other deli. The hummus tasted great and the vegetables were super fresh. The best part was the freshly cooked vegetables - the falafel balls were crispy hot, the cauliflower was fried to beautiful brown color, the potato wedges were cooked with skin on, and the Brussels sprouts were awesome. I had a grain bowl with half quinoa and half rice, chicken shawarma and a lot of veggies. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and took our resolution to come back here often.

I worked at Yafo for about 6 months and I have nothing but positive things to say about it. To start, the staff is amazing. Everyone I worked with at Yafo busts their butt for the customers and are wonderful people behind the scenes. I genuinely miss my coworkers. Secondly, the food is truly delicious. Chef Shai is brilliant, and the ownership doesnt cheap on getting fresh, quality, and locally-sourced ingredients. I ate there every day and I never got sick of the food. If you come to Yafo, youre going to get massive portions of delicious Israeli-American food. Some of the stuff is standard and solid, other items you may have never heard of before but you should definitely try (I strongly recommend the sabich). It was a true pleasure working at Yafo and I definitely recommend the food to anyone in the area.

Awesome concept in the South Park area! Walk in pick your bowl or wrap or rotisserie chicken, select the toppings and sides and enjoy. Ive been twice during this past holiday season and depending on the day or time, the line could be out the door. Fortunately, its fast casual enough to where you can find a seat by the time you get your food. The portions are hefty even if the price is a bit high (if you add meat). But you can get some healthy or non-healthy options to fulfill the Mediterranean cravings. Managers seem to check on you in the dining room and have all been very nice to make sure you got what you need. Interior is clean, open and vibrant. The flavors arent as deep as Jasmine Grill on South Boulevard, but the ambience, service, and area trump it.

The food is decent here. I was a little disappointed in the lamb...it was kind of shredded, and the sauce overpowered the taste of the lamb. The falafel was good. Theres a wide range of toppings and sides. The roasted cauliflower was good too. I think they were short-handed on the line as it took a while for us to get through and our food got a little cold, but thats probably teething troubles since the restaurant is still pretty new. The laffah (its like pita) is made in-house and it tastes very fresh. We felt it was expensive for whats essentially fast food. Two entrees and one soda cost over $30. We liked the interior which had a selection of tables, booths and bench seats. Theres outdoor seating too.

Both times I have visited Yafo Kitchen, the place has been packed and theres definitely a reason(s) why. I love the open menu where you can either build from the bottom or choose an item already designed for you. Both times I have built my own salad topped with chicken, tabouli, chickpea salad, purple cabbage, hummus, cucumber/tomato salad and tzaziki. I have yet to try the sides from the hot bar but the grilled cauliflower always looks amazing, along with the brussel sprouts and mac n cheese. I will definitely be coming back to mix up my menu next time! Also the Watermelon Lime juice is AMAZING! Definitely worth the extra cost

OMG! This place is amazing, the food is amazing! Staff is super helpful and patient, which is what we needed. The menu was a little confusing but we were guided to get what we wanted. The wrap was warm and soft, filled with fresh salad and falafel. I guess it was bears garlic pesto - matched perfectly with everything. My Brussels sprouts side was al dente and a little sweet due to some raisins, delicious! My wife had a couscous bowl with chickpeas, feta and kind of pulled lamb with a pinch of cinnamon. Simple and fresh food, spiced differently. We will definitely be back!

Good concept and very clean interior design with open kitchen feel. The line was pretty long when I went for dinner and it didnt move along quickly. I found the pricing a little confusing. I didnt know if any of the toppings were extra or premium toppings. The bowl was very large and easily got two meals out of it. I was a little disappointed and felt that the flavors all melted together and it was actually rather bland. I am willing to give this place another shot and see if they have anything spicy as far as sauce to get some more flavor.

YAFO is a great experience. Its fast casual style fits perfectly with the food it serves. Think fast, fresh, Mediterranean with a little twist. Their grain or hummus bowls are filling and delicious and you can pack them with toppings. The food is seriously mouth watering. The pitas are fresh and the sauces are fantastic as well. Be sure to account for a wait if you come during rush hours. At times the line can go to the door. Go an hour or two before or after normal lunch and dinner hours for no wait.

Great, healthy fast casual option. I love their hummus bowls. The baklava is also fabulous! They serve a few local beers and wine too if you want to sit and relax. The line can be long but I would definitely recommend that over ordering online as you can see which options are available for no additional charge. They have fabulous Mac and cheese and Brussel sprouts. I havent found anything on the menu I dont like! Their falafel is also very popular.
