Good food, HORRIBLE SERVICE!! Our group of twelve arrived for dinner a little before 9:30. Considering they close at 10 and the dining hall was fairly empty we figured this would be smooth and easy. Unfortunately we didnt account for the female employee behind the counter being extremely rude and impatient with us. Apparently they had received several takeout orders and she was more concerned with customers arriving to pick up said orders. It was difficult to get our orders in. The staff kept stepping away from the counter to attend to pick up customers. When asking questions about a couple of entrees and how they are prepared/served, the staff member became visibly frustrated. While she maintained a professional tone, the pointed responses were unnecessary and the spirit of service just was not present. Worse was when we attempted to use a highly circulated promo code we received via email for $5 off $25, she said you may not use it since one member in your party already applied that coupon. However, we had multiple people in our party who had received their own coupons at their respective email addresses, placing separate orders and using different credit cards. Per the rules of one coupon per customer, this should be permitted. When we asked her to reconsider she said, "Oh no, rules are rules. We are closing soon." What does closing soon have to do with applying a valid coupon? She was more concerned with going home than serving the customer. She was lumping all of us as one customer and just being cheap and petty; pinching pennies. Sadly this is fairly common in a foreign-owned business - $$ before service. Food was not bad, in fact it was good. I would like to go again, however, the poor service ruins the dining experience and gives me pause. Should there be no other alternative, I may think long and hard before returning.

I live closer to the other location in the Arbor walk, but I work closer to this one. I like this location for its parking, not as many speed bumps to go through. There is up front parking at this location too if you are lucky enough to get that spot. The owner always seems to be at whichever location I go to, Im starting to think he is a twin haha. But anyways, the service is always great and the food is always spot on, I never have an issue here. I love the food, its always to order and delicious. I always get the Butter Chicken Masala and its delicious every time. The nann has its up and downs, Ive decided that it never tastes as good togo, it gets all soggy and not as fluffy and nice when you eat there. The best thing ever is the chicken quesadilla, sounds crazy, but it really is amazing, just try it once you wont be disappointed. They have a frequent member program that just uses your number, its a pretty good deal. I would say that if you like it definitely sign up for it. It can get busy at this location during lunch hours so be aware.

The restaurants under new ownership (not just management), menus improved, SERVICE IS PROMPT and FOOD IS PHENOMENOL !!! They did a 4-day lunch blitz in August to announce the new ownership, and boy am I glad. The Paneer Tikka Masala is to do flips for and the Manchurian... yummy! Finally Indian-Chinese in Austin!! highly recommend it for the great food at very reasonable prices ($8 / entre), terrific selection of Chicken, Lamb, Beef and VEGGIES! nice ambiance, great fast service. Id been to the rest a year ago and hated it, now I visit it once a week....

If youre debating between Chinese and Indian for dinner, why not have both?! Awww yeah! The vindaloo and tikka masala are all tasty and full of fragrant spices. If you like really spicy, I would suggest getting super spicy. The naan is not the best Ive had, but no major complaints either. I think the restaurant can improve on their rice - needs to be fluffier and more flavorful. On the Chinese side, the blazing noodles was cooked perfectly! Just the right amount of spice, veggies, and noodles.

We are somewhat well traveled in terms of Food, not saying at all we are experts. So here are my points as to why I liked this place. 1. No buffet ( You understand what I am talking about) 2. Foods flavor ( I really dont like curry that much but enjoyed our dish immensely) 3. Friendly Staff ( Felt like if we were disappointed with our food or anything it would have been fixed) 4. Price 5. Atmosphere( Its a nice relaxed atmosphere which was excellent because my daughter was HYPER)

Ordered food for co-workers birthday party. 6 from 8 order come out too spicy, we couldnt eat the food. We called the store and spoke to the representative, and they said to bring it back the food. But when we were there, Sonya i believe she is the manager, did not even bother to apologise. She refused to replace the food, and said "do whatever you want. We dont care". So disappointed and very very bad customer service. Please save your money and stay away from this store!!!

I have eaten here quite a few times. Overall this is decent indian/chinese food. Its nothing to write home about, but decent. Its great if you want a quick bite and need something different. I have loved the different curry options and the paneer 65 is probably my favorite dish. The only drawback experience I have had multiple times is with their to-go service. It seems that they are not very organized and I regularly have had items missing from my to-go.

BAD...BAD...BAD..BAD...BAD!!!! WARNING!! CAVEAT!! AVISO!! Food quality declining down the hill. Not worth the price. AT ALL!! Customer service is even worse. We ordered plenty for our office and complain of the sauce of some being too hot. The representative, Sonya told us to bring them back. But, once we got there she argued and at the end she even dared to say "Just do whatever you want. I dont care!" Save your money and order your food somewhere else.

I wasnt sure of this place when I was craving Indian food nearby. I know it is a chain and I try to stay away from those. Nonetheless, I saw a good, trustworthy friend had written a good review for this restaurant, so I decided to try it out. I thought I had the Korma Masala when I was here a month ago, but looking at the menu, it looks closer to chicken tikki masala. Either way, it was incredibly delicious and I want to go back. Quick, friendly service.

If you are not used to Indian/Asian cuisine then I wouldnt recommend this place (this is regarding all of the bad reviews), however I am used to it and I love this place! I enjoy that they let you order online so that you can pick up if you have a short lunch. I recommend the Samosas for an appetizer/snack. This is definitely not like a date night place, more of an on the go spot. I would compare this to like an Indian/Asian Fusion of Panda Express.
