Ive wanted to try this restaurant for years and just never made it until now. Im not sure what I expected but I think it was greatness based on the pictures submitted by other reviewers and the eclectic exterior of the restaurant. When we arrived we were kinda greeted by some guy and through a combination of body language, nonverbal cues, and common sense we arrived at a table. Our waiter was nice but very uninformed about the menu offerings and though we explained it was our first time here an needed a moment to review the menu, he proceeded to read almost the entirety of it to us. Ver. Batim. We ordered the seafood dip with toast points as it was one of the specials and we both ordered the Cuban Chicken Roti one with the Jamaican Curry Sauce and the other with Indian Curry Sauce. The sides we selected were the Broccoli medley and some kind of Corn concoction with a fancy name. The dip came out quickly but I was surprised that it was cold. I wouldve liked to have known that was how its intended but it was decent for cold seafood dip. There was some long piece of white meat or something that couldve been squid or???? The point is that when we asked what was in the dip before ordering he definitely didnt indicate something that should look like that. The Roti was flavorful except both tasted exactly the same. When we inquired about this the waiter, after "going to inform the cooks about it," literally said "um the Jamaican Curry is Indian Curry with curry in it." IM SORRY WHAT???? The Broccoli, cabbage, and carrot situation was way overcooked as in almost brownish-grey and very peppery. The Corn was good. Overall it was just "ok" and a strong maybe on returning but I just wasnt that impressed.

The service was good. Our server was always checking up on us and was very friendly. The food, however, was not at all what I expected. Between the reviews and a recommendation from a coworker, I was expecting eclectic but tasteful dishes. Unfortunately, the food was very subpar. I had the Krazy Grill with chicken and pork with a black eyed pea salad and jalapeno cheese grits. The chicken and pork were decent, but both tasted almost exactly the same. The black eyed pea salad was sweet, so I didnt really eat more than a bite of that. The jalapeno grits (which I was really excited about) didnt have much flavor at all. And my cornbread was dry and unappetizing. My husband had the Seafood Creole. For an $18 plate, I expected so much more. It tasted like the seafood had been defrosted and refrozen, there was very little salt, and none of the creole flavors you would expect. It honestly tasted like a watery mess. The green beans he had on the side were over-cooked and under-seasoned. My daughters fried shrimp were soggy, but her macaroni and cheese was decent. I had really great expectations, and Krazy Fish sadly fell very short of those.

Went on a rainy Thursday for lunch. My brother got the chicken quesadilla and I got the Szechuan Salmon taco with bulgogi sauce and cactus salad. Our food seemed to take quite a while to get out, but at least we felt confident in its freshness. The quesadilla had a lot of meat in it. My salmon taco was very delish. Im still amused by the combination of Chinese/Korean/Mexican. The cactus salad needed seasoning to me. My brother wasnt too impressed with the decor/cleanliness, and I have to admit, I think they put too much into decorating it and dont pay enough attention to simple sanitation. Their sanitation rating was hidden (I LOOKED for it), our silverware was filmy and overall, it really seemed to be a dive. I dont mind dives, but the concept is to APPEAR grungy, not BE grungy. I think whatever the customer comes into contact with should be CLEAN. I looked up the rating and its a 95.5 if youre wondering.

Rarely, very rarely do I ever ever give five stars to any restaurant or establishment. However after seeing the show "Diners, Drive-ins & Dives" on the Food Network this establishment caught our interest enough to drive 2 and 1/2 hours one way to Charlotte NC. Its Unique cooking styles and food flavors were not disappointing at all and lived up to every aspect & our anticipation as predicted by the show. The atmosphere was entertaining and extremely comfortable both inside and out. The staff was friendly, tentative & at times playful in creating your own unique personal experience. The prices are more than reasonable and the quality of food, some of the best weve had anywhere. I cant wait to come back with some friends! Worth the drive ~V.

BEWARE!!! EMPLOYEES AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT STEAL FROM THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!. I accidentally left my wallet behind after eating dinner. We left as it was closing and I later found out that our waitress, Bonnie picked up the wallet 5 minutes after we left and "put it on the register" for us when we returned. When I went back the next day, my wallet was on the register as she said, but all the money in my wallet (about $37) was gone. When I told management about it, they told me that I would have to come in the next day to talk to another manager. They just brushed off the fact that one of their employees stole from me like it was nothing. I will never return to this place and if you dont want your items stolen, you shouldnt either.

Do you want to have great food, delicious drinks and surround yourself with fun people and an eclectic atmosphere? This place is where you need to be. I had a party here for my daughters 21st birthday. The staff went above and to make sure everything was perfect for my daughter. They gave us the entire side patio, complete with outdoor bar and music, and let us decorate it with balloons, confetti and banners. The bartender and wait staff were fun, professional and very accommodating. The food is delicious and the drinks are fantastic, but the staff is what makes this place the best restaurant in Plaza Midwood. Grab your friends and head to Krazy Fish tonight. You will not be disappointed!

Very disappointed with this restaurant, my wife and I spent approximately one hundred dollars at this place that was supposed to be so great. The fries seem like they where refried and fried shrimp was about the same also tried a piece of the fried chicken and that was the worst chicken I ever tasted. So I will never be back. Two days later went to the siverslipper casino on the Mississippi coast and eat like a king for much less than hundred dollars. The only thing that was good was our waiter, he was great.

I wanted to try something different the food was good but the customer service was horrible! Our waiter Jason was so rude to us! We didnt like the potato salad so we asked him to take it off our ticket and he looked at me and said "we cant take anything off your ticket just because you dont like it" I will not be recommending this place to anyone! Jason needs to work on his customer service skills! He was really about to get cursed out!

You can make a reservation here and I recommend doing so on Sunday for brunch. They have specials ( I often go with them) and regular menu items. The calamari is delicious. I cant go there without having some jalapeno grits. I like the Shrimp & Chicken burrito and I really enjoyed the Quesadilla with shrimp. It has a great atmosphere and a friendly staff that is eager to make sure you enjoy your experience and I always do.
