I have been frequenting this Hannaford for a few months now and generally like the store and location. I also like that there is a salad bar, because I work nearby and its a quick stop for lunch. Today when I went to the salad bar there was no lettuce so I asked someone nearby that worked there who would be the person to refill this. He told me to go the deli, so I did. The deli had quite a few people being helped and only two people working. I waited for a few minutes and an older man came out from behind the deli counter, so I stopped him and asked who I could speak with. He more or less told me that they would get to it when they got to it and walked away. I was pretty shocked at how rude he was about it, as if I was bothering him. I then walked over to the nearby bakery because I wasnt sure where else to ask. The person there was even ruder and told me that the person at the deli must not have heard me. I then waited in line for ten minutes with all of the people getting cold cuts and when it was my turn I said that the salad bar was out of lettuce. The person I spoke with is the person who refills the lettuce and she was the rudest of all. She said she was aware it was empty and that she was very busy. I understand being busy, but I dont understand how it took me asking four people to get what I needed, nor do I understand everyones attitude about it. Will never go there again.

Typical-sized Hannaford. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. They have a decent produce section with a selection of organic items partitioned/segregated from the corresponding non-organic items. I guess organic stuff should never ever touch non-organics :). This Hannaford does not have the Hannaford-to-go option as of August 2016. It does have a deli, fresh fish and meat shop. Very good selection of beer and wine with plenty of local stuff being stocked. Update for November 2016: Hannaford is remodeling this store and putting in a Hannaford-To-Go option.

I would like a map. If I want a long walk I want to do it outside with my dog. Someone available to tend to a dog while we shop would be a service I would tip for. How about the ability to pre-order and pickup of our groceries? Impulse buying? Pay dividends on purchases with the credits going to "impulse buying". Account info in the system. Order from anywhere at our convenience. Eliminate waiting in line. Reusable packaging. Maybe drone delivery? Just saying. Shopping the way you want us to do it is woefully inadequate and obsolete.

Prices seemed to be much higher than previously priced. Also I had a hard time finding items, most items seemed to be in smaller packages, and hard to locate some items. Self checkout lanes didn’t have the PLU codes on a roller, so if your item didn’t come in a package you have to play around with the alphabetical keypad, and I couldnt find code for cherries, and they were out of several items.

I love this place. Its clean, its bright, and it seems like its never crowded. The other shoppers know how to shop, so people dont randomly stop in front of you and obnoxiously leave carts in the middle of the aisles. Also, as a New Yorker, I was so surprised that they sell wine and liquor here! The wine/frozen french fry aisle is my favorite.

Hannaford has been under renovation for some time but is doing a fantastic job maintaining professionalism and organization during the work. The improvements are phenomenal and the layout of the store is much more open and manageable now. The employees are always very friendly and helpful even in difficult situations.

Godlike in their produce selection. Their deli counter employees often sing hearty sea chanties while they work, and their beer selection would rival that of any reasonably well stocked fraternity house.
