Probably the best ramen you can find in Texas. Ramen is so varied and regional in Japan that its hard to pin down a single regional favorite, but Hanabi does a few really well. Their basic ramen varieties are all chashu-based ramen (pork belly). They also offer a seafood ramen and miso-based ramen. Ive tried their basic, their "Tokyo Black" and their tsukemen. I dont know what I was missing from the tsukemen experience, since I havent had it ever, except here, but it didnt wow me. It was just a big slurpy mess. Their basic and tokyo black varieties are basically the same, but with the Black having more soy sauce in the soup. The onigiri is good, but kind of overpriced considering you only get one. Abes Japanese Grill across the street from here does 3x onigiri for about the same price. If youre here, you want the ramen. Its served boiling hot and they do a really good chashu ramen. The pork just melts in your mouth. Ive had several expat Japanese also tell me they really enjoyed eating here, so take that shared opinion with some levity. Import beer and sake selection is decent and they dont gouge on pricing for the nice stuff. Getting an Asahi Black for less than $10 is really cheap, IMO.

Spicy miso ramen + green tea. Tuesday lunch time. Party of 1. The wait was not long at all, at least for a party of one though it was quite packed. Once seated, service was hasty and standard. Nothing over the top for the service. The ramen was overall great; I was disappointed on the noodles side, though they were cooked well, there was no length to them; almost as if eating a cup-of-noodles. The broth was righteously delicious; a bit too thick for my taste but it was probably because of the extra sauce for the spice. Meat was good and rich in taste. The bamboo shoots tasted canned, but what is to expect. Iced green tea was OK, but for 2.50 Id rather order water. The price point is the downside here; its quite a premium price for just a decent bowl of ramen. I guess the amount/bowl size makes up for it, which was quite filling. Will be trying them again. TL;DR - Decent ramen at a premium price; stick to one dish to keep the costs down.

Gross. Ive eaten ramen all over the country + in Tokyo. Got Shoyu and it tasted like a zoo smells. Absolutely awful. The waiter said "oh I really like it, its lighter than most". Ummm its gross, he brought out another cup of just the broth because he spilled a bit in the floor and it was chunky. In my experience the broth shouldnt be chunky. The Gyoza was good though. The person that sat us was not very nice. We asked for a booth and he acted like it was a total inconvenience and didnt say one word to us. Lastly... They make their employees cover up their tattoos. Its 2016 not 1990. Wearing arm covers to cover tattoos look fat worse than actually seeing tattoos. All in all I wont be back for this rotten tasting ramen.

We came to this shopping area to check out the new revolving sushi place, but were discouraged by a 45 minute wait so we decided to check out Hanabi. The place is charming and food delicious. I loved the Spicy Seafood Ramen and my kids loved the shrimp shumai. I would give the place 5 stars except the restaurant closes at 2:30 and when we came in at 2:15 we were assured we would get service. At 2:30 we got our food and our checks were brought out as well (though we hadnt asked). At that point we were informed that the restaurant was closed and softly encouraged to hurry up and go. Hard to enjoy your food when youre being pushed out the door...

We absolutely love Hanabi! Not the same feel as the Ft Worth location; it lacked the "home" like originality. The menu is different as it does not include the yakitori, which was disappointing. The food itself is wonderful!! Yum. Miso Ramen and shrimp shumai is the best. Service is great on the weekdays but lacking in the weekends. Bottom line- if you want a more authentic experience, make time to go to Ft. Worth.

Their ramen is ok, and the taste is on the strong side. Their dishes are cooked well, and taste is ok, but is not as exquisitely crafted as one would expect from a top tier Japanese restaurant establishment. As long as your expectations are set appropriately, Hanabi will be a satisfactory provider of a mid range Japanese dining experience.

Solid ramen choice for the Dallas area. I would definitely say its on Pat with ramen hakata in Addison. My only complaints in my spicy miso ramen were that my soft boiled egg was probably closer to hard boiled and some of my noodles were clumped together...oh and they ran out of spoons Hahaha but the broth and chasu were great.

Not a great first impression. Disappointed in host station. I made a few minor requests such as seating preferred, etc on our online reservation. Noting our 30th anniversary. They werent busy on a slow Tuesday night. But the host station (staffed by two) admitted they had not looked at the comments on the reservation.

Great variety of ramen and small dishes/plates at this restaurant. The Tokyo Tonkotsu Ramen is excellent. Ive also tried the kara-age, gyu-don, and sukiyaki; all are worth ordering again. Staff is friendly and attentive. Havent had to wait for a seat during lunch hours, though the place does fill up around noon.

I went to there at lunch rush hour. I was told waiting time was around 25 mins. However, I saw theres still couple seats empty and a lots of 4 pp table which seated only 2 pp which means their design isnt considered the flexibility. Food is ok. I preferred the appetizer which is better than their ramen.

Be prepared for a long wait. The service of food was very fast (once you get to sit down that is). Food is always fresh. And quite a wide range of variety of sushi rolls and nigiri. I enjoyed the hot plates too. Be sure to order them from the menu. Tako(octopus) balls are a must get.

Pretty neat little place. Food was quick to get to the table even though we came in 45 mins till closing. Good staff and nice atmosphere for a Japanese theme dining. I would return when I get the chance and try out the rest of the menu but miso ramen was great!

Hmm, a restaurant that does not do togo orders. The food must be good, but I didnt eat anything. Edit, came back to eat on an off day. The Ramen was real good. The broth was also good. I will come back but I wish they do togo orders so I can take it to work.

Ramen is excellent. Good large portion sizes. The spicy miso broth is so good; really well done with two pork slices and egg halves. The food was excellent but the short stools are uncomfortable and the community tables down the center are awkward to sit at.

今年にオープンしたお店です。辛味とんこつラーメン、黒とんこつラーメンを食べましたが、美味しかった。麺は若干太めで、スープが良かったです。

This place doesnt get the love it needs (i.e. Yelp). Its relatively small but good atmosphere. Good variety of ramen from your traditional tonkotsu to miso to a black more garlic-y broth. All great. Chasu wasnt bad and I usually get an extra helping.

Ramen is good. Broth is sometimes a bit too rich toward the end. Appetizers are good! Service is very good. Not sure why you cant order to go. They allow you to order the dish & then you have to pack it in the containers yourself to take home.
