I recently had dinner with a group of friends on the patio. After I paid my tab, I went inside the restaurant to use the mens room. This was the first time I had ever been there. I walked in and was looking around when a waiter walked up and asked if he could help me. I said yes, can you tell me where the mens room is. He said "our facilities are for patrons only." I said "what?" and he repeated it. "Our facilities are for patrons only." I told him I had just had dinner on the patio with a party of 10 and he pointed me to the mens room. He seemed rather rude and condescending. I am over 50 years old and I have eaten at hundreds of restaurants, and not once have I ever been challenged as to whether I could use the rest room. The last time I had to ask permission to pee, I was in the third grade. And Im thinking, does he think I am some random homeless guy who just wandered in off the streets, am I dressed that bad? (I wasnt). Here is a note for management. If you have a problem with non customers coming in to use your bathrooms, deal with it. But however you deal with it, make sure you do not disrespect your PAYING customers. In case you havent heard, in these economic times, new customers are hard to come by. And you just lost 10.

the food was bland and overcooked. the service was dreadfully slow and did not resolve problems we informed them of. the menu looked amazing. but our portabello mushroom tower appetizer never arrived. the spinich and cheese burek was flavorless and tasted microwaved, and the "side salad" was covering the burek. the Karadjordjev was overcooked and the skillet potatoes were waffle house quality. when our waitress asked us how the food was 20 MINUTES after bringing it to the table, and we told her it was dry, flavorless and overcooked, she responded with "oh" and walked away. getting the bill took forever, like every interaction with our waitress, we were ignored for prolonged periods of time. we asked to speak to the manager, our waitress told us it was a family run business and walked away, we spoke with the hostess, who was appolgetic that their "2 best dishes" were disatisfactory and that our appetizer never came and that our service was horrible, but offered no resolution or compensation. i will never go back and have told all my friends to never go there.

I was at Intermezzo the night she came in and she was rude to the staff there. She was there with a large party(who were drinking heavily and making it very difficult for me to enjoy my meal I may add) and they took several shots at the bar. She was obviously very intoxicated and there was no evidence of glass anywhere near the bar(to my knowledge). I may also add that it wasnt her but a male with her that allegedly found glass in his shot and he didnt put up a fuss but it seems like she wanted to get free drinks. I love this place anad will continue to go here because the staff are real people and the food is amazing and fresh..I may also like to add that her and her friends walked out on their tab and the waitress had to call the cops on them to get them to pay it. I hate people who try to take advantage of a small local business.

Extreme waste of $13 - for an establishment with Pizzeria as part of their name, their pizza leaves M U C H to be desired. We ordered a ten inch (which was more the size of an 8 inch & is clearly only enough for one) Margherita - extremely simple to prepare; however, their kitchen found it obviously challenging. Unfortunately our water had more flavor than this pie. The alleged fresh sliced tomatoes tasted like water & the so called house made mozz was flavorless & if I didnt know any better, I wouldve thought I was eating unflavored tofu instead - next time well walk the extra few blocks for pizza @ Fuel or Peel. Disappointed!

Ordered and had pizza delivered. We live less than two miles away and still the pizza sorta warm by the time it arrived. Forty five minute wait for delivery, too ( which we were told upfront). Seems a long time for two small pizzas. More importantly however, the pizza was not as good as weve had in the past from this restaurant. Chicken was dry, the crust was tough and extra chewy(which I dont remember ordering). I dont know what makes pizza one day terrible the next, but clearly theres a processing issue here. Wont make this mistake again.

I had a horrible time at this place. My friends and I were eating dinner and taking a shot when I felt glass in my mouth. With my lip bleeding I took the piece of glass out of my mouth and showed it to the owner/bartender, his only response was "what do you want me to do about it?" I can not beileve how little concern he has for his customers. He even charged me for the shot with glass in it. I have filed a report with the health department.

EXCELLENT The food is amazing..it takes me back to my grandmas cooking. The soups were amazing, and the entrees were delicious. This is restaurant for anyone who likes true homemade food and the recipes that have probably been around longer than most of us. Im telling you,its just so difficult to find a great, healthy restaurant with homemade food in Charlotte.Everything is made from scratch. I heartily recommend this place.

A friend took us to Intermezzo for dinner recently. The food is fantastic in a very casual setting. The menu mix is a great mix of Mediterranean, Italian, Greek, Serbian. Tag line-"nothing fried, nothing frozen". Everything is fresh and the highlight for me was the home made bread they use for their sandwiches. It was like a fat pita, just great. I highly recommend a visit. You will enjoy it. Very reasonable prices!

I was reluctant to try it by the outside looks (I know, I know, something...something about a book cover...). The inside is welcoming and esthetically pleasing. It has that neighborly warm feeling inside. Ground beef Burek was delicious. Best of all was the service. One dude managing many tables yet making it seem like you were the only ones there. Very well done. Thank you.

My first Serbian food experience but I thought it was excellent. My wife and in-laws got the pizza and liked it. They own a pizza place so impressing them is a fete all in itself. I got the Ground Beef Burek and it was excellent. You might think this is a fake review because its so good but check my profile and view the 30 or so others Ive written if youre skeptical.

One of my favorite restaurants. Ive tried to discipline myself to try everything and have yet to finish the menu. My absolute favorite pizza is here. All meat, even bacon! The Gouda Burger is incredible! Lastly, I give Intermezzo the #1 spot in Charlotte for Tiramisu. Service and atmosphere always friendly and welcoming. A true neighborhood gem!

Great pizza! Its in an odd location thats easy to miss, but once you step inside this place youll want to stay. It has a great feel to it and the pizza, its great! They put a wonderful sauce on there that really finished it off. I havent tried anything else there yet, but will be back
