This place has some of the worst service Ive ever seen. If there are more than two tables with people seated at them, forget about prompt service, and forget about the waitress getting your order right. If I received half of what I ordered for dinner it would have been great. At one point I was sitting there for an hour waiting for some miso soup. I asked the waitress, who barely understood a word I said, where the soup was. She disappeared into the back and I guess my soup disappeared with her because I never received it. None of my food orders were correct, and when whichever messed up order finally did come out of the kitchen, the food was cold, like it had just come out of a refrigerator. Obviously that only applies to the hot food like the soups and not the sushi buffet. The food itself, what little of it that was good, was pretty stock. Nothing special. Just your run-of-the-mill Chinese restaurant. Ive had better. The main problem is the lack of grace and the lack of a viable system to properly serve the customers. Between, that, the tardiness, the sloppiness, and the inability of our waitress to communicate with her customers, this place doesnt even deserve one star. I wish I could give it zero, but Yelp is too nice. Wont be going back here any time soon.

Worst service ever. A guy that works there very helpful but manager horrible. We order food 7:20, on a holiday thru app. Delivery time were supposed to be 8 pm. When we called 8:30 lady said its a holiday and we have to wait at least and hour. When we noted that its more than an hour she said driver on the way. Driver came at 9 pm with wrong food. We sent him back and ask to cancel order. She actually had guts to call and ask if we still want our sushi. Really?! When I ask to credit money back she said we have to contact app and ask the to credit it. Horrible... never ever will buy from them again.

Disappointing. Ive supported this restaurant since it first opened and the sushi quality has drastically gone down. I ordered all-you-can-eat sushi with a friend, our total of 10 rolls and a few pieces came out in nearly 5 mins, which we found suspiciously quick. The fish was not fresh, the rice did not properly stick together, the nori (seaweed) tasted funky, and the portion of fish to rice was pathetically low. My friend started feeling unwell after eating the spicy tuna roll, felt terrible that I even recommended going here. Stay away from the sushi here

I do not know about you but I have always enjoyed being at Red Apple and if you have your expectations right you will be very satisfied This is a good sushi with fresh fish. This is not 80 dollar/plate sushi place and you are not paying that either ! I am always there for the buffet, for under 20/p you get miso soap, hot tea and all you can eat sushi/rolls from a set menu. there are additional special roles (0.50 cents extra per roll) and they are worth every penny . service is OK and the manager is friendly. one of my favorites !

I always order large scale party tray foods for the staff who work for me on the weekends. The beef and broccoli or general tso or lo mein trays we order always arrive to us quickly (usually 15 to 20 minutes) and still hot. The prices are decent considering how much food we order. the staff is very friendly and courteous every time i walk in to pick up orders. One of the best chinese food restaurants i know. all the really good ones in the basements of Mott and Christopher st in manhattan are all closed and gone forever

. The food was fresh however i have seen better supermarket sushi. On all most all the rolls the thing you taste is the rice because everything else is so small. The rolls looked and tasted sloppy. On rolls with fish the slice was so small and thin you cant taste it. The buffet is not worth it if you want good sushi. Also they did not have a roll i wanted which was on the menu

Small place with a few tables and fairly generic decor. The main draw is the all you can eat special. For 18 dollars you can get unlimited salad, soup, appetizers and sushi, special rolls are 1 dollar extra per roll. The sushi is tasty but not the best Ive ever had. If youre looking to indulge and eat way too much sushi this is a pretty good value.

Absolutely Horrible 1 hour and 47 minutes from time of order to delivery. I couldnt wait for it to arrive, and when it did I couldnt wait to throw it out. Probably the worst sushi I have ever tasted, but I guess I should known better than to expect good quality food from an all you can eat buffet

Price is right but the sushi rice isnt sticky and usually comes warm. Service can be hit or miss and weve had the same 2 waitresses every time weve gone. They cut the fish very thin which throws off the fish to rice ratio of the sushi. But what do you expect from an all you can eat sushi buffet.

Great value with lunch specials, the 3 for $10 rolls cant be beat. Not too much rice, not undersized. Just enough. Friendly staff, delicious food. Only Chinese Food place i have been satisfied with in 8 years in SI. I pass 3 competitors to get to these guys from home weekly. Thank You!

I was sitting enjoying a Philadelphia roll when something on the wall caught my eye I turned to look and there it was a roach I instantly gaged and my philly roll and it came right up the roach took off and ran behind a picture frame

Usually i never have a problem here and i order all the time as well as visit the restaurant. but the last two times i ordered a delivery there, i did not get what i ordered. place is going down hill. not worth the price anymore.

I have to give this place give stars. Its not the best sushi Ive ever had, but, it is pretty good. Plus, we usually go with a bunch of people for all you can eat lunch and they take care of us. The service is awesome.

Food is pretty good, $20 lunch buffet is awesome. If you order and dont eat it however, they charge you the buffet price and the individual roll price, so order a couple at a time!!!
