This is the best cheap Chinese takeout joint in this part of town. Theres better Chinese food in Nashville, but at this price point, youre going to get inexpensive standard American-Chinese fare: sticky sauces on fried bits of meat, and bulk noodles loaded with chopped veggies. The meat bits are tasty and the veggies fresh, which is all youre looking for. There are some standouts: the wings and soups are excellent. There are some bummers: the dumplings are pretty lousy. As for the rest, it is stock standard American-Chinese food delivered quickly by happy delivery drivers, or eaten at a few laminate booths that scream "were a delivery place, not a sit down restaurant." They remember and treat their regulars well, with not only free items now and then, but also a gift around New Year. Ive had bad Chinese take out, and paid more for great Chinese food -- this is good Chinese take out, and most of the menu is a solid experience. Not fine dining, but easy to enjoy for what it is.

I placed an order yesterday evening (12/12/2014) at approximately 5:30 PM for delivery. Since this is a high volume order / delivery time on a Friday I didnt think much about it when I hadnt gotten my food an hour later. I finally received a call around 6:45 PM with them letting me know that my food was ready. I said thats great, I ordered it delivery. They said no, the system says take out. We discussed this a moment to have them "confirm my address", only to say "We dont deliver there" and then hung up. Not only did I not get my food, their system also allows for you to place delivery orders to areas "they dont deliver". This would not have been a big deal had they called me within 10 - 15 minutes to let me know, instead of making me wait an hour and fifteen minutes hungry. I will be calling my bank today to ensure that the charges are removed as I did not receive what I paid for, and I will never again eat / order from them.

Was in the middle of an order (giving the credit card numbers) and the person yells out to someone, "Oh hey, how are you?" I heard her put the phone down on the counter and then for 5 mins straight I was like "Hello. Hello. ... umm... Hello? Hello. You there? Hello?" Of course I hear them chatting in the background. After 5 mins of this I got feed up and hung the phone up. Last time I ordered from this place I ended up canceling my Credit Card. They wanted the SEC numbers on the back. I have never heard of a food delivery place needing that. Anyway I thought I would give them a second chance, dumb move on my part. So now I have to sit here and hope that this lady doesnt just put the order in as cash and the delivery guy shows up at my house. :-( BTW the food is decent... just very very bad service.

It took forever for us to get our food delivered. And by the time they had gotten to us and left, we had the wrong food. We called them to have it fixed, but the employee on the other end of the line was very rude and said that either we had misordered, or I would have to take it up with the person who took the order. We didnt misorder, so the employee who took our order was supposed to call us back and he never did. They didnt answer the phone when I called back. TERRIBLE SERVICE and RUDE EMPLOYEES! I would suggest staying away if you want to actually get food for your money.

The food was disgusting. The fried rice was yellow which is not how fried rice is normally cooked and bland. The chicken also didnt look or taste like chicken. No seasoning whatsoever or anything. Just a horrible place for Chinese food. I went to the store to return the food because I didnt eat it and they told me its not their fault that I didnt like the food and refused to refund my money. The owner and cashier were rude. Dont waste your money or time here. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!

This restaurant had alright service, but the food is terrible. Although Im usually a fan of Chinese food, I am disgusted by this. Twice my fiancé stated over the phone to include sweet and sour sauce and upon arrival there was no sweet and sour sauce. Other than that, the fried rice was bright yellow. Deciding to give it a fair shot, I tried it.... and regretted it instantly. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It is a waste of money.

Ordered general tso chicken combo.... I got yellow rice with no seasonings not anything just dry as could be. The chicken had hard chunks in it and was dry as well. After calling the place and asking for a refund I was told he would take back the food but not refund my money.... Thanks pal... Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. I wont be a victim of this horrible service nor food again. I hope this review is helpful.

When it comes to Chinese takeout, China Dragon knows what theyre doing. I have been coming here for several years now and have never been disappointed. As a vegetarian, it is often hard to find "take out" that is accommodating; however, China Dragon has an ample veggie friendly menu! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good. quick meal at a budget friendly price. Not to mention, they have the best bubble tea in town!

If you are staying within a block or two I suppose its not the worst option if you want quick Chinese. But, if you can Lyft/Uber elsewhere...do it. Its really not that impressive. I know most Chinese restaurants are pretty bare inside but this one is bottom of the barrel. It was a warm August day and they were just using two large fans (no a/c). Staff was friendly but there are certainly better options in Nashville.

Worst quality of Chinese food I have ever had. Manager was irresponsible, immature, and incapable of understanding main points in arguments. Dont waste your money here, youll just end up throwing it away on fake rice, soggy crab rangoon, and jello soup. The managers response to my issues with the quality of food were, "Theres nothing I can do for you, sorry. Bye." Never ever coming back.

Dont do delivery!very short and abrubt on phone, put me on hold 4 times then they sent it to the wrong place over an hour later. Very short when icalled back, was placed on hold another 6 times and had to give the address another 5 to 7 times spelled out in a 9 minute call! Got the food 40 min: later and was mediocre at best. Best part was the fortune cookie but the fortune was even bad.

It took over an hour to get our food delivered, but once it did, the food was good. Also, when we placed our order, we were put on hold mid-order (giving credit card info) and I heard the woman help 3 new customers who must have walked up (order, payment, receipt) while I was still on hold. A bit annoying. Food was good overall, though, so we will probably order from here again.

Food was delivered and was not fresh. General Tsos chicken tasted hours old and crab rangoons appetizer tasted liked it was cook during morning and served at dinner. Would not recommend this place if they would send unfresh food out for delivery that tasted a day old. Will not order from here again. Maybe it would have been better if I clarified that everything be cooked fresh.
