So me and my boyfriend come here ritually for the stuffed mushrooms because they are amazing ! He usually gets chicken vodka and I share his soup and salad... well today we got the exact same thing we always get and it tasted like everything came out of a can. Completely different then any other time they have tasted. The stuffed mushrooms contained imitation crab meat like never before with no taste of crab whatsoever just stuffing lemon and mushroom with a smell of crab. The most pathetic stuffed mushroom I have ever seen BUT I still ate it and enjoyed it because we LOVE this place... and then the chicken and vodka came out OMG. it tasted like ketchup.... an even more poor excuse for vodka sauce. So we try to bring it to the managers attention which by the way her name was francesca and SHE looks at me and says " well its the same ingredients as every time so I dont know about that but Ill take the vodka penne back do you want something else or not" and then charged us 8.00 for soup and salad ! I would not have even cared about the 8.00 if she wasnt so rude when it came time to pay the bill. Telling me shes not gonna get fired for doing her job and since we ate the soup and salad we had to pay for them.... she was nothing but rude every way in and out and I will never go back to this place specifically because of this " manager"! @ real manager running a restaurant business would not talk to their customers like that calling them a liar and rolling her eyes at every word. Absolutely the most embarrassing excuse of a meal and customer service experience Ive ever had. I work with customers ALL DAY LONG talking down to me like Im some kind of sweat shop worker and I am in a meat cutters union making double the money your staff does and RAINBOW DINER OWNER I hope your proud of your rude unintelligent management and be HAPPY she took at least 800$ out of your register a month because my entire family eats at your diner. Take my advice and DO NOT EAT HERE because if you dont like your meal your paying for all of your sides separately !!!!

I love the food here especially anything greek since the owners are greek however the service is TERRIBLE. Pretty much every time I come in here I get a horrible waiter who is extremely rude. The last time I went (the last time I will ever go) I asked for extra sauce and he said there was enough to go around and I could share with someone else. I was extremely upset and told the manager who pulled the kid aside and "talked to him". After using all the sauce I asked for more (I was very angry at this point because if he brought it out in the first place like I asked there wouldnt have been an issue). He then charged me on the bill for extra "gravy" which was like pulling teeth to even get the sauce from him. He hardly visited our table and was slow on getting our drinks/refills. Then when we went to pay the owner asked for a tip and when we explained we werent leaving one the manager got mad and said she spoke to the waiter and we said we know but were still not giving a tip for being treated like that every time we come in there. Needless to say I wont be going back.

To start we have been coming here with our family since I was about 5 years old. The rainbow became the go to place for me and my girlfriend as well for the last couple of years. This was the last time we will be there. We come here all the time for the stuffed mushrooms that are now imitation crab from real crab meat and stuffing and The chicken and vodka was worse then opening a can of chef boy r d and burning it in the microwave. It was the worst vodka sauce Ive ever had and I had the problem last time to. On top f it all when the Manager came over (who didnt introduce herself and acted with no professionalism)she was very rude when we told her about our food. She very rudely said "well do you want something else or not. What do you want me to do" its not like weve never been here. Weve been coming here for years and the food was great. I later called back and the managers name was francesca. I know its unfortunate and none of us thought it would ever happen but dont waste your time here. Just drive by and go somewhere else

Use to be good, Went there and had a horrible waiter who did not care the least bit, as we sat there we were by the manager desk and watched him take the wait staffs tips, one person also noticed and it said something and got yelled at by the old grumpy manager. Our waiter was missing the whole time we asked the manager if they had brown gravy since they brought out yellow with out turkey and he screamed at us YA... and then ignored us, shortly after someone brought it out. I understand why the staff sucks, because THE OWNER TAKES THEIR TIPS!!! Thats why the previous reviewer said they management asked them for a tip so they scum could take it. I felt for the staff and gave our waiter his 19% tip directly discreetly, he showed the most unusual gratitude and apologized repeatedly(for his own rudeness and bad service??). Did I mention the FOOD WAS HORRIBLE, MANAGEMENT STEALS TIPS and it was prob the worst service I have ever had

The problem with online reviews is that it is difficult to believe them. Owners and their supporters will laud the restaurant while disgruntled employees will pan it. I am neither. My husband and I have been to this diner a number of times over the years. We met friends there last Saturday. Like many diners, it has way too many food choices. It must cost a fortune to keep that amount of food on hand. However, the food is good and plentiful. There was seven of us at the table. My husband had the Western Omelet. Two friends had the Chicken Cordon Blue. One had shrimp. Another had prime rib while yet another had a veal dish. They were all happy with their meals and their servings. Our server was polite. Two of us wound up bringing food home. We had a nice evening. My husband and my part of the bill totaled $27.00 (including tip.) If you like the diner experience, go.

My family and I have been going for years, never been an issue till today. Son ordered appetizer chicken fingers never came out before meal. he asked for his meal Cheese Steak with saute mushrooms peppers onions. I wanted cheeseburger w/saute mushrooms mind you do not eat burgers too much anymore, but know mushrooms should be saute. We got all food at once. WHat a mess. My cheese was melted on bun, usually when u order a cheeseburger bun on side with lettuce, tomato, onion on that. My cheese was on bun with burger on top, bun was so soggy couldnt pick up. Talked to women at register fixed the app, but SAID WE ALWAYS DO BURGERS LIKE THAT. WELL GET RID OF MEXICANS HIRE REAL COOKS WHO WORK FOR REAL MONEY. SHE WAS SO NASTY FIGURED CANT ARGUE WITH STUPID. I HAVE BEEN TO MANY PLACES TO EAT. THAT BY FAR WAS WORST WAITRESS SCREWED UP WHOLE ORDER.
