Probably the best looking diner Ive ever been to. Super clean and modern looking. Plenty of parking in the lot and and up to date menu. A group of 20 went here after a wedding and they accomodated us nicely. All oir food was great. Ppl ordered things like french toast, eggs benedict, adult grilled cheese, paninis, eggs n potatoes, milkshakes, omlettes, Greek wraps, blts and self created dishes. I included a few pics, but from the looks of it, the Cannoli french toast looked the most insane. The truffle fries smell out of this word and taste even better. Dont even second guess it. Order a round for the table I ordered the steak bacon jam panini. Its was a glorified steak umm and thats not a diss song. It looks basic but packs a protein punch. Delicious thin sliced steak, bacon bits, carmalized mushrooms and some baller cheese i cant remember the name of. It was good stuff and went great with the truffle fries my wife ordered. She also got the black n white milkshake that was mad good. I also got the manhattan clam chowder with my panini. Never ordered that before, but it was money. This place gets a solid 4 stars off the strength of the decor, lengthy menu of delicous eats and delivering on the delicious food. Not a 5 star cuz the Service was pretty weak. They gave us some pushback on the seperate checks but let it go quickly and took a little too long to take our order and get our checks. But im nitpicking, it was a good brunch with a squad of 20. Its not easy to work with that big a group.

Terrible!.. And, let me preface by stating that Im just a regular working person, raised in the Bx and not looking for fancy cuisine when I go to a diner. Stopped in here this evening for some quick diner food and will never make that mistake again. Its dirty, way too expensive and the food is horrible. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger with onion rings and had to pick every piece of bacon off because it was inedible. It was obviously cooked way in advance and then just heated-up because it was literally like trying to eat a leather shoe!.. I mean, its BACON for gods sake. It takes 5 minutes. How are you not cooking it to order??.. The onion rings were no better - just greasy and stale. Again, why are they not cooked fresh? It literally turned my stomach. They tasted like they had been soaking in a dirty mop bucket. My friend had pancakes that tasted like the crap anybody could buy in the frozen foods aisle, and she could barely open the little syrup bottle because of all the gunk that had been allowed to build-up on the spout over god knows how long. Same with the side of sausage - garbage they probably bought at the local supermarket. So for a frozen, reheated bacon cheeseburger with onion rings and pancakes with sausage, the bill came to $32!! .. Ridiculous. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else. Drive for another 3 minutes and find a different greasy-spoon diner.

The food is very good but higher price range then we expected and the service is average...especially for breakfast. You expect the wait staff to be more attentive with refills for coffee but it seems when the place gets busy which is does on the weekends especially you have to keep asking for coffee. The big complaint my party had this past weekend on 6/17 was the hostess was rude. Our party of 6 just spent a great deal of money on breakfast and had just gotten the bill. We were finishing up our coffees and waiting for the change to tip the waiter. She came over to our table and told us we needed to vacate because she had people waiting for our table. I am in the catering business and this was uncalled for. She was abrupt and rude and unacceptable in the restaurant business. Customer service is just as important if not more then the food quality.

Food used to be good. Now it is overpriced and the food quality has dropped. And they have become somewhat ignorant. I ordered a cheese quesadilla and it came with GOAT CHEESE. I asked the waiter why they would put goat cheese on a quesadilla and he said its normal to put goat cheese, I laughed and told him that it wasnt. I sent it back and then complained to the manager who also said it was the norm. Either im an idiot or every other restaurant makes quesadillas with cheddar or monterey jack. Like I said quality is not up to par with the prices, my girlfriend ordered a grilled chicken salad and they put grilled chicken breasts on the salad, didnt even chop it up. She also said it tasted bad. Im not going there again, and I hope the owner sees this and has a taste of the goat-cheese quesadilla.

Really, you cannot serve 3 day old roast chicken without it tasting old. Our waiter let us in on a little secret that they roast all their chicken at the same time....if there is food left over at night, they refrigerate and re-heat....so on a Wednesday, we were served chicken that was roasted on Sunday. I said to our waiter "it tastes really old and dry"....Waiter went back and got me newly roasted chicken. Honestly, should anyone be served 3 day old food? I used to love this place but Ive found out from waiters that food is recycled to save waste....cooked turkey burgers made into turkey meat loaf....things thrown into soups...ugh...easy to get food poisoning like this. No restaurant should be deceiving the public. Generally, the wait staff is okay....some waiters are nicer than others.

Since the diner was remodeled + expanded prices have increased exponentially. Also, the noise level is unbearable. You would think that they would have included sound proofing as part of the remodeling. All in all, dining there is an expensive, crowded uncomfortable, noisy experience. Its no longer the comfortable, neighborhood diner l used to know. I miss what it was. The menu now boasts fancy, new age cuisine, but their food disappoints. Now l go to restaurants in the area because they cost the same as the diner, have better food, are quieter + less crowded.

Not good. Decent atmosphere but way too expensive (everything on the KIDS menu is $9.50) and its not paid off with good food or service. The food - breakfast in this case - was honestly just kind of odd. The pancakes and French toast were an otherworldly yellow and the eggs tasted like they were scrambled in a chemically kind-of-vinegar. Bacon was super-thin like youd find at a low-end "free" hotel buffet. I expected much better quality for the price but it just wasnt there. Will not be back.

The best Diner ever! It is really more than a diner. Sure, you can get your typical eggs and pancakes, but my family usually goes here for dinner food including salmon dishes, vegetarian dishes, and organic options. It is really not expensive for a restaurant- and that is what it really is: good, quality, restaurant food served quickly like at a diner. The waitstaff is really personable and very accommodating. The family owned business feels like family to us.

NOT A DINER. Diners are open 24/7. If this establishment either renames itself without the word "diner" OR goes back to being open 24/7, Id bump this back up to 4 stars. If they start having the good food and prices that they did five years ago, when they were ACTUALLY A DINER, Id bump it back up to 5 stars. But as it is now, its just some restaurant with average food that calls itself a diner. If you want a real diner, go to the Bedford Diner, right down the road.
