I enjoy coming here with my family. They are very consistent, with ok prices, and good soups and salads. The big problem is the sushi is not cold! a little cooler then room temp. at best. Good hibachi though. Update A friend recently had a birthday party here, and, well, eh. Hibachi was very good, but portions were almost unfairly small. One person ordered the same thing as me (for the same $$ price) and they were served almost half what I was. Special rolls were also ordered, and heres what I dont understand, why when you order hibachi, does the quality of the rolls go way down? I mean your paying the same amount as usual, but the effort and presentation were afoul! Soggy warm seaweed, smushed on top of a warm California roll, was definitely not worth $14.

I love this place. We usually get sushi pickup on Mondays. (Unfortunately, as of this writing their website does not list their full sushi selection. They have Maki Combos!) Their price is comparable to a similar place on Elmwood. However, they usually have bigger rolls, more soup or salad, and are really fast. The fish quality is about the same but I havent gone in and sat down for their sashimi, yet. Another great thing about this place is their decor! I love coming in here and would recommend it for anyone looking for sushi. They also have hibachi, that Ive yet to try, and a host of other great dishes.

We have been there about 10 times and never ever had a bad meal or bad service. Twice we went with the family---5 adults 3 kids---the antics had the kids laughing so hard it made us laugh---now whenever in town the kids beg to go there!! 5 times we went with large parties---what fun it was, food great, service even better!! Twice for business lunch--again excellent food and service, twice for dinner and also great!! I recommend the Cape Cod Roll for those Sushi lovers!! Moreover, great parking, clean, friendly!!

It seemed a nice and clean place. We did not try the sushi but the miso soup was fine and the sea bass and (I think we ordered) mussels were also decent. I though the atmosphere was great. There were special tables where the chef would come to actually cook in front of you. We did not sit there but still had a good view of the tables. The chefs made a great show of the cooking and the customers looked like they were enjoying themselves.

The restaurant was very nicely lit, the decor was lovely & very traditional. Quick seating, quick service, & the waiter was helpful. At first she was hesitant to take back something I ordered when I realized it had an ingredient I was unable to eat, but afterwards was very accommodating & polite. Would definitely ask questions about food before ordering Id need be, but nonetheless, great restaurant.

The food was great. Ordered it as take out, only took 15min to be ready. They have the best deep fried ice cream Ive ever had. Also the portions were big, and the fried rice had a unique smokey flavor, it made it better then fried rice that Ive gotten elsewhere. I really enjoyed there food and cant wait to go back again.

Its a really fun place to go to - especially with friends. Really great atmosphere, expect sake squirted right in your mouth and quite a show from the chefs. Its a really good place to sit back and enjoy some quality Japanese food.

Ive been to a couple different sushi/hibachi joints throughout buffalo. Tokyo 2 is by far the best. Incredible selection, fair prices, excellent wait staff, and the food is consistently amazing!!

The food here is really good, especially the hibachi. The noodles and fried rice hibachi are delicious. They also have a good alcohol selection. The hibachi chefs are very entertaining.
