Worst dining experience that I have ever had. I dont know if the place has changed ownership since the last review was written or what. Got there with my girlfriend and her daughter and had to wait 15 mins before we were served beverages. The restaurant was dead. They sat us at a table with only 2 other people (that arrived about 5 mins after we did). After the 5 of us were sat they sat another table across the aisle with only 3 people. We hadnt even given our orders yet to the server, and we had 4 empty chairs at our table where those people could have been seated. By the time our server took our orders and we had soup, the table that only had the 3 people, that got sat 15 mins after us, already had a chef preparing food. We sat for another 15 mins and still no chef. Asked the server how long several times and he kept saying 5 mins. I dont know if he understood English that well. We were still waiting, when we saw the chef across the aisle pull a tray out that had raw chicken sitting on top of vegetables and other meats. That is when we had enough and left. On the way out told a manager that we were leaving because of poor service, but I dont think he really cared considering he was wearing jeans with an Abercrombie polo with the collar popped and didnt seem to understand English very well either. Drove down to Jeromes Steakhouse right down the road. Best choice we ever made. I suggest ditching the salmonella and heading to Jeromes, I had one of the best ribeye steaks that I have had in a while, and their salad bar was amazing.

Im a local in the area and so we usually made it a point to eat there at least once a week. We usually went for lunch and everything is fine. Since they got new owners there is usually just two people working during lunch, the waitress and the sushi chef. The last couple times we had problems with the waitress messing up the order, and by all means DO NOT politely tell her the order is wrong. She will argue with you and accuse you of being wrong. Excuse me? Wrong answer. The last time we went we specifically told her no avocado or cucumber on any of the rolls which she replied back that it didnt come with any. We get our shrimp tempera roll and sure enough theres avocado and cucumber. We politely informed her and she did not offer to fix them and simply left them on the table. She came back and we asked to get another roll and she brought us a roll with two shrimp in it and we were satisfied... until we got the bill and all of the rolls were on there and the new roll costed twice as much as the others. After continuing to argue that this was the roll we ordered and saying that she would not take it off the bill, we reluctantly paid and left. Tip? no thank you. We will gladly give our business somewhere else. Worst excuse of a waitress I have EVER seen.

It took about ten minutes for someone to come over and get our drink orders. After a half an hour we had soup in front of us. At one hour we had a sorry excuse for a salad. The "salad" consisted of plain head lettuce that was mushy and brown, and the ginger dressing was so bitter and disgustingly awful. It tasted like ground ginger and water, and there was a big watery residue at the bottom of my bowl and at my husbands bowl who got ranch. The waitress kept insisting that there was a chef coming and they were a little slow because only two were cooking. You think they would have been better staffed for a Friday night. After an hour and 15 minutes of waiting one of the cooks went to a hibachi table consisting of people who had just gotten there. We decided to pay for what we got and left. The girl at the front was understanding and she let us leave. We had our one and a half year old son with us and his high chair had no back to it. We went to switch it out and all the high chairs were broken. Did not seem safe at all. We went next door to San Felipe and had a wonderful meal. Will not ever return to Osaka. What a sorry experience.

Worst experience ever! When we arrived all of the tables were dirty, the cook was yelling at the customers while shooting saki in the customers mouth, and the restaurant was dirty . For a saturday night there were may 10 drunk people eating. This is definitely not the place u want to go to eat. It is a run down sorry excuse for a japenese restaurant. We walked out of the restaurant without ordering anything.

Good food and service. My wife and kids eaten here many times over the years and have never been disappointed with the food. Not sure what "Buddy" was reviewing but if you look at his review history on Google you see every Japanese restaurant he reviewed is a copy past about "Cook was screaming and partying with drunkards shooting saki in there mouth". After 20+meals Ive never seen such a thing.

Ive never been reprimanded by a restaurant server for asking for something that was supposed to come with my entree before. I guess it was my fault that she failed to bring my soup and salad that I paid for. Food was good but overpriced. However, the terrible attitude of the woman running front-of-house ensured that I will never be paying money to this ungrateful place ever again.

Ok...I wanted to give this place a high ranking just because I thought it seemed unfair:however, I cant. The AC was out. But we went in anyway. I saw the chef from another table drop his spatula on the floor. Pick it up. Wiped it off and continued to use it. Even my 15 year old daughter saw it. My bad that I should have said something but I didnt

We went in thinking we would get a habachi entree for around $7-8 but we were quite surprised to see the chicken entree for $17.95. We just settled for the $5 sushi roll and watched it sit on the counter for 10 minutes before it was brought over to us and we were one of 2 tables in the place. It was okay, but we probably wont go back.

I ordered a California roll and a spicy tuna roll and they were both terrible. Both rolls were falling apart. The spicy tuna had an old taste to it and the avocados in the cali roll were hard. These are very simple rolls, you can almost go anywhere and get a good cali/spicy tuna roll, but not here. 10/10 do not recommend

Good: the chef was fast, very personable, put on a great show, and the food was terrific. Bad: there was one waitress for the entire restaurant, so service extraneous to the meal itself (like drinks) was slow. Also: the scallops and shrimp were amazing, best Ive had in years. Dont get the chicken or steak, not worth it.

Ginger dressing was gross, thats as far as we made it. The man at the sushi bar was picking his acne and biting his nails then we watched him prepare food without washing his hands (didnt use gloves either) We left and went next door to pizza bistro.
