Terrific Thai. My wife and I love Asian cuisine, sushi, and Thai and Japanese in particular. We heard good things about Teton Kitchen and decided that for our anniversary wed try it out. We were not disappointed. Let me note here that we made reservations and arrived just a few minutes before our reserved time. While they were not that busy when we walked in, we were seated immediately by the smiling wait staff. The staff, and in particular the owner, made themselves available to answer any questions about the menu items. To start off my wife ordered California roll, and I ordered the fried oyster appetiser. The cook came out and apologetically informed me that they were out of oysters, and offered to make me something else, and suggested calamari, to which I agreed. When the sushi arrived it was well presented and was delicious. The calamari arrived and I was somewhat taken aback by the generous portion as well as the fact that it was real deal squid, like, the whole squid not just some little rings. The calamari and the sauce it was served with were really tasty. For entrees, my wife ordered the Thai red curry with tofu, while I ordered the red curry with duck. This is one of the first times Ive seen duck offered with curry in this area, and I like duck (done well). We ordered our entrees as "3" in terms of spiciness. Both entrees arrived quickly and piping hot, accompanied by bowls of basil rice. Both entrees were extremely flavorful, and the spiciness of mine was perfect. My wife ordered the same level of spicy/hot, but it was just a bit too spicy (which kind of surprised me because with her its usually the hotter the better). The owner came over to ask if her meal was OK, and she mentioned that it was just a bit too hot for her, and he kindly offered to take it to the kitchen and tone it down a bit, which he did. Shortly after he reappeared with my wifes meal, piping hot, but less spicy, so she was really happy. Overall our experience was very positive... delicious food and the service and attentiveness of the staff and owners was first rate.

Ive visited this place a lot over the past year. And I think I have seen enough to write a justified review. In-short: you walk into this place and you will be guaranteed a pleasant time and delicious food. Now for the detailed review: The host - Taka - is a pleasant man, soft-spoken good listener and generous. He deserves all these praises that are here in this review section. He has also casually thrown in free soup, ice-cream, and drinks once in a while. He makes a conscious effort to make sure you enjoy your experience. If you do not, you let him know and he tries his best to make it up to you without batting an eyelid. His crew also resonates his motto. The food, is very delicious. They have some of my favorite Rolls and Curries. I and my kid love the Yakisoba and my wife is a fan of the Thai Basil Fried Rice. I personally like the spice-level to be high and when I make that clear while ordering, I get it perfectly the way I like it. The sushi tastes fresh and very flavorful. You can feel the burst of soft, sharp, smooth and pungent flavors all at once with the avocado, spicy tuna, shrimp and wasabi blend that is aptly named "Perfect Storm". I also like their "Hurricane" sushi roll and "Hulk" maki. The curries are fresh and the tasty too. I also like their Passion Fruit Slush. Their Hot Sake portion was pretty large for what I had expected. about 16 fl oz (if I have my mensuration correct). Parking is ample and there is enough seating space for big groups too. They have TV and bar for the sports enthusiasts in us. The restrooms are tucked away from the main seating area and clean (BTW, cleanliness here tells a lot about a restaurant). Every time Im around Cheektowaga looking for a good place to enjoy good food, this place always trumps anything on mine and my wifes list.

Good food with reasonable prices and feel like I am in Asian again. I am Asian guy and used to lived in Osaka and Bangkok for more than 10 years. I do enjoy lots of sushi and thai food. Teton kitchen remind me of good thai food on su khumvit road street vendor and tiny sushi places at shijuku . I was at Teton kitchen for dinner with friends and party of 8. We order lots of sushi roll . ( mango shrimp tempura , red tuna dragon roll , kiss of spider , white wizard and nigiri ) some are the way most American will like fusion sushi roll . For me, I prefer nigiri . Rice with fresh fish on top. All sushi are so fresh. Then we moved to thai dishes for entrée and we ordered red curry with shrimp, thai bazil fried rice, roast duck salad , pad thai and some friends ordered tarayaki salmon. every one said good and price is cheap. They do served Japanese beer Sapporo and I like asahi beer. Waitress are friendly and way too polite. Am I in Asian Again? Overall , Good food with reasonable prices and feel like I am in Asian again.

Ive been enjoying Teton Kitchen for a few years now. I loved its great food, excellent service, and appreciated its unsuspecting, but well needed, location in Cheektowaga. My $42.00 bill for a takeout order seemed a little high, but I was so hungry, I swiped my card and left soon after picking up food for my friend and myself. When we opened up the takeout bags, something didnt look right. They forgot the side order of steamed rice (but charged me for it) and they gave me food I did not order. It looks like they tried to get creative and make me something edible with whatever they had left in the kitchen. I ordered Tofu Steak & Mushrooms and the Pan Sauteed Mushrooms. I guess they ran out of mushrooms and forgot to tell me about it. They substituted potatoes for the mushrooms and gave me two orders of a dish I did not order. Its like they gave me the wrong dish twice and forgot the rice and charged me for all of it. WILL NOT be going back.

Starting out with the Staff: they are always extremely friendly. You couldnt ask for a more pleasant bunch of individuals. Moving on the the Food, they have an array of wonderful dishes. You can range from basic Sushi all the way to Full Thai meals. The Spice index (0 - Meaning No Spice Added to 5 - Extremely Spicy) is different from your normal food spice scale. If you prefer a slight tingle of spice start with a 2, but a 5 will give you a real kick! After trying multiple dishes after 40+ Visits you can always expect something different based on what you are craving. Finally the Stores Presentation: the seating area is a bit small for dine in, maybe 40 person seating, 50 max total. Its always clean inside and the music is set at an acceptable level. The only con is that when the Restaurant is busy you may have a longer than normal wait time for your check. Other than that there are no complaints.

Spoiled Out-of-Stater finds vegan friendly restaurant in Buffalo, NY.... We walked thru the door and were graciously greeted by the owner, Taka. When ordering and asking for tofu and no fish sauce, he quickly responded with "Ok, vegan?" This is such a reassuring sign that the restaurant staff actually understands dietary restrictions and takes them seriously. My friend and I both ordered the Pad Kee Mong which was delicious. Hers with beef and mine with tofu. The sauces were different to accommodate my vegan request but yummy just the same. The service didnt miss a beat - Staff was very attentive without being overbearing and even though it was busy, everyone was happy and very friendly. Thank you Yelp for helping me stumble across this amazing little place. I look forward to trying some veggie sushi next time Im in town! P.S. - I overheard others talkin
