This cute local place has great vibe. And the people that run it make it even better. No NYC expensive drinks, no long line just to get a drink, and for sure no crazy wait to get inside. Come, have a drink, have good time, enjoy good music, and if you are lucky you will also hear live band signing old songs. Many times this is enough for me. And when it in such a great area like Cortelyou rd, I am happy. If you are in the area, you better try it. If it is not over crowded, you will enjoy.

Guitar shop meet bar. Bar meet guitar shop. These guys definitely hit a chord and play quite well together. You can have your pick of watering holes but where else will you be able to booze up while buying a vintage guitar? (Yes, those guitars are for sale.) There is an impressive variety of music both live (usually starting around 9pm) and on the jukebox. This is one of the most interesting bars in the neighborhood so dont skip a beat, go check it out!

Cool bar on Cortelyou rd. You can easily miss it if you don’t know about it, but you shouldnt, since it is a cool place. They have live music, they have great staff, and they have great prices for high quality alcohol. It is located between few other restaurants and bars opened in this area, so a stop here before or after will be a wise decision. Live music, the friendliest staff, and low prices. What else do you need? ;)

This is a really cute spot in the neighborhood. Ample room inside, good selection drinks, beers, cocktails and wine. Theres a huge yard in the back. The jukebox has salsa music so my friends and I played music and danced in their space. Its a really interesting venue with an eclectic, low-key vibe. Theres also free comedy there once a month, and live music each night. Definitely worth checking out if youre in the nabe.

Pretty simple..alcohol is alcohol..but people are special ..unique..thats what attracts us. That being said, no night is a bad night in Bar chord. Henry,Stew,Ali,Andrea..all these bartenders are just boss and make you feel at home in the spot. And great music almost every night. If you wanna enjoy any night..pop in and end up staying alot longer than you intended like me .

This is a great alternative if Sycamore is too crowded in the Summer. Theyve got a great backyard, and the bartenders are very friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable, and beverage selection leaves little to be desired. Definitely check it out.

Excellent variety of beers and wine. Great "old school" barman and atmosphere. Visited during Happy Hour with my wife, M-I-L and B-I-L. Had a brief but great time with the locals. Will definitely stop by again. Cheers everybody...
