The worst restaurant service ever. I did not get to even taste the food because the owner (short dorky looking guy w/ glasses) started yelling and started a fight with us. We had 14 people in our party. He started by saying we cant get a large table since we had no reservation - when there were only 2 other tables eating there. When we sat at two separate tables because we had 4 babies and needed space to put the stroller , he demanded us to move to a smaller table. When I complained, he started raising his voice and refused to take my order and told me to get out while taking other peoples order. We finally got up and left. Never going back.

Definitely worth finding. It is off the road turning off Hwy 55 near Hwy 54, and the market next door kind dominates the little shopping plaza signage. And, despite the word tofu in the title, dont fret. It is a speciality of theirs but this is a full Korean menu with plenty of options. The initial display of banchan (traditional free appetizers) is impressive. On the level of what I saw at Min-Ga in Chapel HIll. That made a good first impression. Welcome and courteous service like you were being brought into their home to eat. Everything we tried was a solid representation of classic South Korean food. A must try.

Good food, extremely rude service. Actually, this may only reflect a waiter, but I have a feeling that hes the owner. Long story short, he raised his voice at us impatiently while we were ordering because we didnt understand what he was saying. Then, on our way out, he didnt think our tip was high enough, so he came after us in the parking lot and demanded that we write in a different amount. I was tempted to write in a big fat "ZERO" but settled for telling him to go screw himself. Needless to say, were not going back, good tofu isnt worth being treated like crap.

Food here has original and authentic Korean taste (Im Korean.). This place is getting popular to not only Koreans but also other international people who work in RTP area. This restaurant specializes Korean tofu soup "Soon-Doo-Boo". About 10 different types of tofu soups are served with different ingredients, and you get to choose spicy grade. "Bul-go-ghi", which is introduced as Korean beef BBQ, is also one of the famous Korean dish here.

We loved the vegetarian options we got at this place. Its the first Korean cuisine restaurant where we had good vegetarian choices. We had the vegetarian dumpling soup and the hot stone bowl for vegetarians. We were served unlimited cold mild green tea instead of water, which was a nice touch. Unlike what some other reviewers have experienced, the owner was not rude to us. I would definitely visit this place again.

Went there for the first time today. I had the thin-sliced beef soup, and it was awesome. The person who helped us (may have been the owner; not sure) was very friendly, and funny. The meal came with about six sides that seemed to be bottomless... As we finished something, more was brought out. The prices were a little steep, but the food and the service were great. Id definitely go back.

The food was ok but not worth the horrible service. Go to Chosun OK where they have good food and the staff are kind. They also bring you refills on all of the kim chi. Vita Goals staff are rude and they told me that it is the law that you tip a certain percent and that I must not know that because I look like I am from India. Actually, I am not from India. I am a US citizen.

Dont let the street view dissuade you! The indoor of this restaurant is very pleasant and clean. Delicious soups and noodle dishes served commonly in a hot stone pot that keeps your food warm all through the meal. They provide all kinds of tasty different kimchi with your meal and will refill them as often as you like. This restaurant is one of the hidden gems of this area.

The best of the 3 Korean restaurants near the 54 - 55 intersection by a narrow margin (Inter Korea House a close second). Their banchan (side dishes) have the greatest variety, with 6, and all are good. The tofu soups are the best choice here, but bibimbap and other dishes are also good. Service very friendly.

the strip mall makes you think this is iffy, but its actually really nice decor inside. Big portions, and really a lot of flavor. I had the tofu seafood soup, and they brought me the soup and six side dishes. I thought they must have made a mistake, but nope. Every bit of it was tasty!

We went to Vit goal in spite of some of the problematic reviews. We had a great experience. I have eaten Korean food in SF NY and LA and I found the food to be great and the portions large. I think if your interested in trying great Korean food then give it a try.

I gave them a 1 star review before, but theyre so much better now. The new owners came in a few years ago and I thought it was due time that I updated my review! The food is good, the people are great, and I enjoy coming here everytime now. :) Highly recommended!

Nearly no service. Ants on the table. Very disappointing experience. Did not even give me a receipt after I paid on her ipad, claiming I HAD to tell her before I pay. Colleague later was sick - not confident about their cleanness. Will never go again.

but the tofu dishes are addictive and tasty. Everyone else that works there is very friendly. Go with 2 and split the spicy stir fried squid. Squid is not easy to cook but they know how to do it right, imho. Bibimbap in the stone bowl is good too.

We love this place. Go there at least once per month. The owner is a wonderful host and the food is always good. We moved from California where Korean food was easy to find and incredible. Its as good as California and the variety is great.

Hi, the Hispanic waitress had her finger nails into the dish/food. She also squeezed my milk tea straw from one end to the other, with bare fingers, then brought it to me. I can see her fingers with milk tea on them. Be cautious.

This place is my regular lunch place. Provide really best quality of Korean Food. Their Kimuchi is really tasty. Owner make those by herself. So far this Korean Restaurant is the best in Greater RTP AREA!!! I want to put 7 stars!!

We had an excellent meal. I took my wife to Vit Goal and we both had the Hot Stone Pot BiBimBob which was delicious. The decorations were nice and the service was excellent. I recommend this restaurant and plan to return again.

내가 먹어본중에 제일 맛있는 순두부. 특히 전라도식 겉절이가 진짜 대박. 음식 전체적으로 깔끔하고 맛깔남.

New management! New management! New management! Spicy pork, seafood tofu soup, kalbi... awesome! I try to go 3 or 4 times a week. Banchan is good and they keep it coming. A little pricey but worth it!

Had the Hot stone-pot Bibimbob. Dont know how authentic it is, but it was pretty good. Comes sizzling in a-who would have guessed-hot stone pot and with all sorts of tiny veggie plates with it.
