Its a nice surprise to discover great food in places you would never expect. From outside its just an unpretentious strip-mall joint like thousands but once you walk inside, it greets you like a family place, which it is, in fact. The chef owns it and it reflects in the quality of food. We had an amazing pulled pork sandwich there, a salad, and several different pizzas. Everything was very fresh and tasty, just like in Italy. The kitchen is open and you can watch how the food is prepared. In America, I generally avoid pizza. Usually, it makes me sick with heartburn. Not here. The crust is thin and crisp, no mushy feeling like you eating soft bread. Try their calzones. Nothing will disappoint you there. Also, its very clean and tidy.

Burattino pizza rocks! My friend was there about two weeks ago and was raving about their veggie pizza, so I went there to try it. As I was waiting for my turn to place an order, some dude got his meatlovers pie. And guess what, I ended up having that instead. The thing was just so awesome, I couldnt resist!! So much for trying to be a vegetarian:) I left thinking it was one of the best pizzas I had in while. But now, a few hours later after eating a pizza loaded with meat and not feeling any heaviness whatsoever, Im going to make a bold statement and say that this is THE BEST pizza Ive had in a long, long, long time. There you have it, folks.

We moved to the area 6 months ago and found our new go-to pizza place. They have delicious thin crust pizzas, with fresh ingredients that make their pizza light and crispy. The pizza is authentic, reminding me of the pizza we had while living in Europe. Their prices are quite reasonable...12" pizza was around $9. I really like the Croatian, my wife favors the Hawaiian and our 3 year old loves the cheese pizza. The people working there were very nice. Theyre quite proud of their work, showing you the pizza before you pick it up.

wanted to try something different and since I live around here is pass this place alot. so today we stop in and got a.large Pizza and it was so fresh very good. the place is small but excellent food. The customer service is great, at no point the manager was rude. I do read some reviews and some are just not true. if I can I give them a 10 star rating. Thank you for the great pizza, I be back again.

The owner is very friendly and the staff seem like they enjoy their job. They proudly present the finished product for your approval with a huge smile. We walked in and ordered a pizza and it only took 10 – 15 minutes for our pizza to be ready. The dough is thin but firm and the crust is crispy. I enjoyed the pizza and wouldn’t mind coming back for more.

My husband and I are in love with this place! Burattino is definitely on top of the game with great variety, amazing recipes, and top notch ingredients. I really liked the Croatian pizza. My husband wolved down the entire 12" wild boar pizza by himself (never seen him eat more than one slice before:)) Well be back for sure!

Burattino is very possibly the best pizza place in South Bay. The thin crust is perfect. Everything is very fresh. But what really sets this joint apart is how imaginative they are. Just going down their menu you know these guys taking pizza seriously. Kudos to the owners of this wonderful restaurant.

I come here all the time. The pizza here is so good Ive never eaten anything else so I have no idea if the rest of the food is good or not. The Mercedes pizza is my favorite and the best. Its a thin crust pizza and divided into four different types of toppings.

I ordered lunch catering for the office from this restaurant and instantly became a hero for my employees. The food is so delicious, salads are fresh and crispy, sandwiches melt in your mouth. The homemade bread is superb. This food is dangerously good!!!!

The best slice in town, and a nice beer selection to go with it. Burattino Brick Oven Pizza is a great place to hang out, especially when they have events with live music, DJs, artwork, etc. Highly recommended. Its a great brunch spot, too.

Personally , I think Burattino makes the best thin crust pizza in Los Angeles. I like how they manage to balance the ingredients in a way that pizza comes out non-greasy and flavorful. Grade A operation, you guys!

Awesome, I have been 3x. And tried a different sandwich each time. The meatball, bbq pork and roasted pork. All were not what you would expect, but in a good way. Very friendly service even when busy.

Used to be "Pavichs" until comrad Pavich retired. One of the guys that worked for him now co-owns it. Awesome pizza - I recomend "The San Pedro": half Italian and half Croatian pizza. Awesome.
