Food is very good! Lots of choices and everything me and my family have tried is very tasty. We are regular customers here as we love the food. Desserts/mithai is also very good. I went there with my family this past weekend and found a BIG surprise! THEY HAVE STARTED TO ADD 15% "SERVICE CHARGE" ON TOP OF YOUR BILL EVEN THOUGH ITS NOT A WAITER TYPE SERVICE!! THEY DONT TELL YOU NOR DO THEY POST A NOTICE EITHER!! I was ordering my food at the counter as usual, the guy asked if I wanted to leave my tab open and I said sure since I do end up ordering dessert, tea etc. After we finished our meal I went to pay and when they gave me my bill HE ONLY HANDED ME THE CREDIT CARD PIECE (NOT ITEMIZED WITH WHAT I HAD ORDERED). SO I ASKED IF I COULD GET THE ITEMIZED BILL AND TO MY SURPRISE I SEE A 15% "SERVICE CHARGE" TACKED ON!! I ASKED WHAT THIS IS ABOUT AND THE PERSON SIMPLY SAID THAT YES WE NOW CHARGE A SERVICE FEE!! REALLY?? HOW ABOUT TELLING YOUR CUSTOMERS THAT BEFORE THEY ORDER?? I NOTICED MOST PEOPLE WERE NOT EVEN CHECKING THEIR BILL!! Moghul Express - if you want to charge a tip/fee then do so but by all means dont be deceptive, tell your customers you are now charging a service charge of 15%. I like their food and I am planning on bringing this up the next time I go there but if I dont get an explanation as to why they are being SO DECEPTIVE about the service charge that will be my last visit! FOR ANY OF YOU WHO ARE REGULARS OR PLAN ON GOING THERE PLEASE CHECK THE BILL OR ASK ABOUT THE SERVICE CHARGE BECAUSE THEY WILL CERTAINLY NOT TELL YOU!!

For the last 2-3 months the food quality or taste has consistently gotten worse. My favorites are chicken tikka masala, chicken manchurian, chilli garlic fried rice and south indian dishes. I think the moghl so and Chinese dishes chef is moved to south Brunswick. I tried it a few times even after being dissapointed because I thought maybe Ill get lucky on the days when the chef is in Edison. But no luck. It continues to taste bad and now I finally had it. Of course I have no way of knowing why the taste got so bad. But it cant be a coincidence that they opened a branch in south Brunswick and the taste went bad here.

95% of the time there food is perfect and fresh- couple times they did not meet the expectation. If I am in the area during lunch - I choose Moghul express over the other places. As they are at a level where their staff is growing, have multiple locations, now they need to invest some money in having proper trainings for their staff....for example 1. Not touching their face during handling food. 2. Not talking negative things about clients who are ordering food via phone, specially when you have clients sitting and eating and listening. 2 things I noticed. Over all I like Moghul!!!

When I went to the restaurant and ordered food, they gave us the Dosa cold and it looked as if it was one of the left over dishes that they were trying to get rid of and when we asked them to bring us another one, they just reheated the same dish and brought it back. I was very upset, even the manger Gulzar, didnt even care about the problem and told us " it must be a mistake " and that was it. I expected better service after ordering so much food.

Way too spicy and no flavor. The veg manchurian came out in 2 min. It was stale as if it had been around for a while. The chilli panel was over salted. The hot and sour soup was just hot. The mithai seems a little sour as if it had sat around. Compared to Mithaas this was nothing. We came here only because Mithaas was closed on Monday. Meat dishes were OK.

Best food & well trained staff hired who knows what to talk and how to talk and not like other food joints @oak tree who are just at your service to make money and serve food with no flavors and taste at all. Keep up the good work Arora group, all your restaurants and your ppl are excellent

Good place for India Chinese and Punjabi food. Manchurian and paneer chilly are yum. Their Thai curry is awesome. Prices are comparable to other similar places. I have been there 3 times in the last 6 months and have Ben delighted every time

I love this place, the panneer very gooooooooood. One star very goooooooood. I love this steak, it takes very good, even betteeeeeer than the pannnnner combined with belpuri. Goo here, very tasty

Do NOT eat there..!!!!. They cheat on price of the sweeties... They charged my Husband $5 for the pastery and $3 for Rasgola but when i called them the pastery was olny $3.50 and rasgola for $1.79.

I would say its great for sweets but they need to work on dine in quality. We buy sweets all the time but never dine in or even take out. Gave it quite a few tries in previous years but its okay.

Everything on menu..is amazing in taste...we come from Jackson Heights in new york... and there is no comparison between mogul express and all other restaurants in Jackson heights. Keep it up..

My experience in moghul express was really bad. The noodles had a rotten scent to it and the Manchurian was hard as a rock. The bathroom had no soap in it all which was very unsanitary.
