Cabo Fresh is a little bit of a variation on the theme when it comes to "we build your food for you" Mexican restaurants. All the usual suspects are there, but there are a few differences that are worth noting. First, they offer whole wheat tortillas and you can get spinach instead of lettuce as a filling if you desire. Also, they have Ahi tuna and pulled pork as a meat filling option. I would say that the rice has a little bit less kick than the rice at Chipotle, but they have a larger (but still somewhat limited) selection of hot sauces compared to Chipotle to spice things up. A small complaint is that they dont give chips with an dish, you have to order them separately -- but that is true everywhere these days. The location is a strip mall between a grocery store and a movie theater so we usually hit this place before shopping or before a movie.

Cabo fresh by far lives up to their name! Their food is always extremely fresh and packed with flavor. I always get a rice bowl with spinach on the bottom, no beans, and lots of guac (which costs extra, but absolutely worth it). The staff is very friendly and does a great job with assembling the food and making it how you would want. I like to come her often with another person because I always have a coupon where you can buy one entrée and get one free with the purchase of two large drinks, its a great deal! I suggest visiting this place if youre in the mood for a quick bite of some tasty Mexican food.

I probably wouldve never known about this place had it not been recommended by my brother in law. Theres not many Mexican places near my home in Centereach except Green Cactus which I go to (but not happily) when i crave Mexican. Until now! Cabo Fresh is professional, modern and the service is fantastic and friendly. They have great food too! They give nice sized portions and they are very generous with sides and condiments. I think the prices are competitive with Green Cactus and their freshness cant be beat. I certainly give this place 2 thumbs way up! I hope they never change!

First time there and I was impressed. The food was very fresh, including vegetables, the people very nice and helpful, and the meal delicious. We ordered two burritos, a chicken quesadilla, and two soft shell tacos all for just $35! My wife and I ended up eating it for dinner and still had leftovers for breakfast the following day. A great deal for excellent food. The place itself was clean and tidy, and while it was busy with plenty of customers I had zero wait.

I never had a bad meal here. If youre looking for an alternate for Chipotle, this is the place, especially since they have more options. Personally never had thier burritos, but thier nachos as well as thier plethora of toppings is my usual whenever I come here. Also, staff is friendly, fast, and responsive. I strongly recommend Cabo Fresh to anyone who is a fan of Chipotle or even Moes; you wont be disappointed.

this is an absolutely amazing place! it is better than chipotle! the food quality is great and the lines are never too long! the staff is friendly and Ive never had a bad experience when I came there! highly recommend this place to anybody that likes tacos & burritos like I do lol!

Very similar to Moes. Food tastes terrific & portions fairly generous. Prices are very reasonable (about $7 for a large chicken burrito) and a friendly, informal atmosphere. Great place for a quick bite without taking a big chunk out of your wallet.

Vegan burritos here are amazing! (Just order a burrito with rice, blackbeans, veggies, (corn has honey), quacamole, lettuce, mango salsa, and hotsauce. Yummie yummie! All the staff were excellent! Wish we had a place like this in Seattle!

Same food concept as chipotle, gets 4 stars cause Chipotle gets 5 :P The foods good and they have a couple more options that they serve vs chipotle like the mango salsa and a type of cheese spread (forgot the name but tried and was good)

I love this place!! The food is beyond delicious and always fresh. The prices are fair for what you are getting. My favorite it a bowl with; lettuce,brown rice,pulled pork, black beans, salsa, medium sauce, cheese, the sour cream!! YUM

dirty rest room, dirty tables, some nice staff but one very rude, no one offers help unless asked, food portions medium-to-small... a Chipotle just opened up across the road and will take all the business if this place doesnt shape up

Great people! Good food, good ingredients. Their demographic is mostly college kids due to Stony Brook Universitys proximity but it is a family-friendly place and cozy, if a little too chipotle-modern for my taste in interior decor.

Everything tasted good but my stomach hurt afterwards big time. Ive never experienced this after eating Chipotle ever. So, Im unsure if Ill be back. I think Ill wait for Chipotle to open across the street next year.

Same concept as Chipotle. I think theyre actually a little better in terms of food quality, and much better in terms of service. Probably a little pricier, too. As with Chipotle, its healthy and tasty fast food.

Cabo fresh is basically a tastier Chipotle (although I only eat the burritos). Its usually not too busy so you can get in and out during a lunch break or in between classes.
