Just had a bad experience there. The server did a good job. However we got left at the bar with no explanation by hostess about waiting for hibachi side when we did get seated after I had to ask again. She did not explain that for the chefs to come out we had to order two separate entrees. Even though we did the wasabi special shared meal which is the price of most two entrees combined and has just as much food. Then when do get the food the chefs come out and clean the hibachi which they didnt even cook on and splash soapy water into our food. We tried to talk to a Manger a few times but they wouldnt even come talk to us we had to find them. There was barely any apology and we both felt like they didnt care how our experience was and we were in the wrong for being dissatisfied. I was not trying to get a free meal but I have had enemies treat me better. Seriously been to restaurants in Afghanistan and around the world with better experiences and a fraction of the money they charge.

We love this restaurant for an entertaining, delicious and family friendly meal, however this last trip that we made was slightly disappointing. The chef was amazing and the food was great, but the service was less than desired. At the end of our meal when our server was packing up the leftovers to take home, he actually grabbed another customers fork and used it to serve up our food into boxes! Needless to say, we left behind our leftovers (which was a lot of food since the portions are usually quite generous). Very disappointed with this visit. Were undecided whether or not we will continue to frequent this place, but we hope they do a little more education to the servers about proper food handling.

My mom and I went and wanted to sit at the habatchi side and split a plate and some sushi rolls but I guess 2 people have to order from the grill menu to sit there. Trying to order told was impossible since Im gluten intolerant they had very minimal options. They told me they had no dressing I could put on my salad bit when they brought out the sushi said that this dressing is gluten free and it was the one my mom had just had on her salad. Its a beautiful place but they really need to be straight with what their options are and they should have more. If youre gluten intolerant, go to seven sushi. They do everything gluten free there

Had dinner there tonight. The waitress was wonderful, but the managers were just lurking around the restaurant picking up plates prematurely and it made dinner very uncomfortable. It seemed like they were trying to hurry people along with their meals. It was really annoying. As we were leaving one of the managers literally stared at us as we got up and walked to the door, and didnt stop staring until after we walked outside. I then realized that I had forgotten my to go box and tried to walk back in to get it and the doors were locked! It was 1023 and they supposedly close at 1030. Wont be going back there anytime soon.

FIVE STAR ALL THE WAY!!!! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, the friendly staff and talented Chefs! We had the Hibachi Salmon and Shrimp dinners with a couple of adult beverages and have nothing but great things to say. The food was prepared and tasted excellent. The clear soup was delicious, I (normally dont like soup). Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse really accommodates birthdays! They sure made me feel special on my birthday. Amazing, affordable and delightful entertainment! Weve highly recommended it to friends and family, and we will be back! Thank You Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse !!

Waited to be sat and was forgotten about. Sat and waited to be served until we were told the chef refused to wait on us because we didnt order "enough" food when we ordered the most expensive option on the menu. When we finally got our food it was wrong. Then someone came out and threw dirty, soapy water on the table in front of us and our plates. Asked for a manager who chose to hide instead of address the issue. After refusing to wait on us because there were only two of us, another couple was sat and promised they would receive the service we had just been denied. Absolutely shameful.

I had dinner one night at Wasabi while traveling to Bozeman for work. Its conveniently located within walking distance of the Hilton. The restaurant was crowded so I just at at the bar to eat. Service was good - the bartenders were friendly and brought my food and drinks out quickly. I had hibachi chicken and it was good, though the not the best Ive ever had. The portion size was rather small, especially given that it was a bit pricey. Anyway, I might here again next time in Bozeman, but not my favorite restaurant in the area.

Excellent, I love sushi, I have eaten it all over the states and I have to say its the best sushi in town. The atmosphere is nice, the staff is friendly and they were super nice on my birthday. Its more expensive than other sushi in the area but I think its well worth it, the flavor combos are nice, not too complicated or overpowering. The rice is wonderful as well, good sushi starts with the rice after all. The fish is fresh which is impressive for Montana being land locked. TLDR sushi snob likes the sushi

This restaurant has two sides which are very different: 1. Hibachi Grill Side: Chef cooks the food in front of you in a mini-show. The kids love this, and the food is fine. The hibachi grills require a lot of air exchange, so it can be chilly. 2. Sushi Side: More upscale. I cant comment on the food - we have only eaten on the Hibachi side. Shortly after the restaurant opened the service, show, and food were poor. But we have returned twice since then and it has greatly improved.

We can not express how much we enjoy eating here. We love eating at the hibachi side for date night and for bigger group events we have as well. The man upfront is always so nice and helpful when it comes to fitting our big group for dinner. We really enjoy the show as well! Sky and Yummy Yummy are our favorites but everyone is very good at what they do. We have never left disappointed. Thanks for the great service!

Food was great. Had a friend get in town at 9pm. Looked and saw they didnt close until 1030 so we choose to eat here but we felt uncomfortable at 1015 bc we seemed to be more of an inconvenience to them bc they were ready to close the store down. Thats fine but maybe you should change your hrs to close at 10 pm. Beside that everything was great.

The food i have had is always delicious with fair prices for sushi in a land locked state. The service has always been pleasant and the food delivered within a reasonable time. My complaint is the seating, the booths are loose and so if someone is shareing the seat behind you, it causes the seat to jiggle which can be annoying
