Kind of disappointed. We went there with a group of six. The salads came with the meal but we werent sure if this was intentional because nobody said anything to us about the timing. As for the meals we all ordered something different. The burger and Philly were good. The two different salmon entrees were just ok and kind of on the small side. And the two sandwiches were let downs.The mushrooms were hardly noticeably. One of our friends ordered gluten free bread but did not get the right order. When it was brought to the waitresses attention, she barely reacted. I think she hoping the manager was going to help her out as he was standing right behind her but he just walked away. I get it not every outing is going to be a hit and these things happen but still not a good first impression. Especially since we like their Mayfield shop so much. To sum it up we may go back somewhere down the line to give it another try but there are so many other places to give a try first.

Four of us went for dinner on Thursday night which included a one year old, and the experience was quite pleasant. We shared the vegan spaghetti and meatballs which was very good, and the original salad which was like the original pewter mug salad, so if you like ice burg lettuce with some ham, turkey and cheese it was good, and the open faced salmon blt which I really loved, it was very good and they serve it on a gluten free waffle if you have a gluten allergy. The waitress was very friendly and attentive and all in all I would recommend it, there is certainly something there for everyone. Last night my brother had the beef short ribs and he enjoyed those as well. I enjoy supporting the family run businesses in the area and hope they do well!

Nicely decorated place with a modern gastropub menu. We have had some very good dishes here. The salads are very good, especially the beets & greens. Decent beer selection, with a few signature cocktails. We have had some very poorly done cocktails here in the past due to some less than stellar service and training issues. If there is a downside to this place, the hit or miss quality of service would be it. Overall a nice comfortable place to hang out and have a better than average meal at a decent price. $44.50 for 2 salads, wings, and 2 beers.

I made reservations at 56 Kitchen yesterday, from the first phone call to the end of dinner I received quality service. I had relatives in from CA and they are Vegans and Vegetarians and some were not, the menu accommodated all of us and the food was excellent!! Our server was Leah and she was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. The Owner Mark came to check on us to make sure we ok...Great Experience!!

It has been a long time since Solon has had the benefit of a restaurant like "56". Love the decor which balances west and east coast feel as did the menu; which was diverse with an excellent selection of items across all categories. Service was very friendly and always with a smile. I look forward to returning with a group of friends!

Went with my vegetarian girlfriend. Excellent choices for vegetarians/vegans! Loved the veggie burger; probably the best Ive ever had. The a piedi nudi pizza was really good, though a little floppy. Our server was amazing. The chocolate espresso tort was incredible, though we couldnt really taste the espresso.

Truly excellent in nearly every way. A diverse menu abounds with hearty options. The "Belt" pizza, with its fried egg and mound-of-greens garnish was extraordinary, as was the "56 Philly Steak" sandwich. One can not go wrong here, by far the best lunch and dinner spot in Solon.

First time to 56 Kitchen. Food was very good but the drinks were a bit expensive for a neighborhood restaurant in a strip center! $14 for a Martini...bit much when the competition in the area is in the $9.5--$11.00 range.
