Quails...FTW. Raise your hand if you even know what a quail looks like. Are you raising it? Look around, do people think youre crazy? Somehow no one knows what a quail looks like but we all know that we love it whenever they put a quail egg on any food they put in front of us. No difference here, that incredible perfectly cooked quail egg is the best compliment to a crispy yet juicy ramen burger you could ever have. Why did the quail cross the road? It didnt silly, only chickens can cross roads..duh. Whats that noise? If you have super sonic superhero hearing like me, youll notice a high pitch noise coming from the electric stove top on each table, its quite annoying. Two ways to get rid of this, get wasted or get high.

My wife and I have been going to Kobe An for 5 years and it is by far the best Japanese food in the Denver area. Kimie (the owner) is a very nice woman who personally comes to your table and greets you. The Sushi is very high quality and the main dishes are brilliant. I suggest that if you see this restaurant because you searched Japanese food, give it a try and you wont be disappointed. TL:DR - awesome food. Will come back obviously.

Just when you think you know sushi... Kimmy makes you think (and taste) again. Beautiful space with choices of tatami rooms, tables or the sushi bar. Many of the things you expect in a Japanese restaurant, but just a little bit... better. Miso featured slightly crunchy Bonito flakes; the sauce on the mango roll was unusual and hard to place; the platters featured generous uncolored ginger and real wasabi. Highly recommended.

My co-workers and I eat here frequently, at least once a week and we love it. I have discovered some of my favorite sushi rolls here but I want to mention more than just the sushi. The menu here is BIG, so if you arent into sushi, there is plenty of other things to try. The Ramen is amazing - huge bowl with fresh noodles and the prices are better than other places in Cherry Creek.

Ive been dining at Kobe An (both their new Cherry Creek and former Lakewood location) since 1987. They have always amazed me with their delicious & fresh food and dedicated & friendly staff. The gracious owner, Kimie, carries a true desire to have her guests experience nothing short of WOW. I no longer live in Denver, and when I visit, Kobe An is always on my list! Kudos!

My wife and I LOVE this restaurant. If it werent so far from our house, we would probably go here once a week. The food is amazing and authentic, the service is wonderful and the prices are affordable. They also have normal tables and the Japanese style tables with the holes in the floor for your legs and the cushions to lean on. Highly recommend this place.

Really great tasting authentic Japanese food, and I mean food..actual meat and fish dishes, not just sushi that a lot of Japanese restaurants have. My husband always convinces me to go here for their sukiyaki, I typically get the chicken curry. Still looking for a place that has tabletop yakiniku in Denver *hint hint*.

Great, authentic Japanese food with a lot of attention to detail. Nice atmosphere...tea rooms are wonderful and worth paying a few extra dollars for. We used to eat at their former location in Lakewood and now drive all the way across town just to eat with Kobe An.

The service was so slow, i asked for water refill 2-3 times even though it was very empty. The owner asked me for more tips and also asked whether I am another country that dont know about how much tips I should give.

Love this place. We always order too much food because everything is so delicious. Get a private room for a more authentic and romantic evening. Also try the Okonamiyaki nom nom nom

A friend that just got back from Japan took me here and it was truly delicious. Prepare to spend at least an hour and be sure to dine in a tea room if available.

There is nothing special with their sushis and the prices are unreasonably high. Go for Banzai if you are looking for high-quality sushis and tempura.

$14 for very average ramen that had 1 egg , couple of bits of dodgy looking pork and no veggies!
