What we liked: the fresh fruit the mac and cheese (surprisingly good) the chili the sauteed mushrooms (delicious!) the polite servers decent salad buffet What we didnt like: -the cold "fresh grilled" steak (it was cold! but it had been sitting on a grill--Im assuming the heat wasnt turned on) -complete lack of grilled fish items (what seafood there was was all fried) -the nasty hushpuppies (where are all the herbs and seasoning and why are they sweet?) -the disgusting "sloppy joe" style taco seasoned beef. It looks and tastes exactly like sloppy joe--who does this? No wonder nobody ever eats it. -sweet tasting blue cheese (its supposed to be tangy, why is it sweet?) -disgusting spring rolls (we spat it out in a napkin, truly unappetizing) -the grilled chicken drumsticks had an odd sweetness to the rub, which was disgusting (why is it sweet?!?!) WHY DO I HAVE TO KEEP ASKING THIS? Last but not least, the soft serve ice cream. By far the biggest let down of the night. There is no chocolate and no vanilla/chocolate swirl, only vanilla. Then, upon tasting it, its noticeably sugar as all get out. Disgustingly sweet, even for my us who loves ice cream and sweets. My husband ended up adding hot fudge and oreo chunks to simply mask the sugary sweetness of the ice cream, which turned out to be quickly runny as well. Next time I want softserve, Ill cough up $.99 at a McDonalds for far superior taste (isnt that saying something!) We hated this experience. The food was generally quite awful, surprisingly so considering its NOT cheap. At least the one thing my husband and I agreed on is well never, ever go to another GC again. Adios!

On our road trip MO, we stopped here for family dinner since it was close to the highway. Two bites into the mash potatoes, I found chip pieces of a plate in the potatoes. I contact the server, she stated that she was going to show it to the manager. The manager come over, he didnt even take time to see the plate of food with the chips in it. He manner and reaction seems to me, this is a normal occurance here....just quick refund the one out 6 meals, and went on his marry way. I did eat anymore, should have took the family and walk out, but hungry kids, frustration and tired...I was not thinking straight at the time. Management did not care enough/bother to returning to see how the rest of the meal was for the family. NOT RECOMMAND THIS LOCATION-very disappointed because it close to the highway and hungry poor unsuspecting travelers will stop and find it unexceptable place to eat.

This place is absolutely horrible to their staff. I spent 60$ on buying a new uniform they charged me 11$ for my aprons let me work two hours then lead me on for two weeks before firing me for no reason I was super excited to worked there i had always loved their food and was excited to start a new job in a new town. I never got paid for my orientation after a month of trying to get my check that they promised i would get i gave up and i never got paid for the time I wasted a with such rude and horrible people. I Will never eat at another golden corral again in my life after the humiliation that amiee put me through. I think its something that ever one should know about this establishment.

My 4yo son needed to use the restroom but the the toilets in the mens bathroom were covered in poop so he had to go in the womens. The mens also had no soap so everyone that went in before my husband obviously did not clean their hands. And the servers wear their aprons in the bathroom when using the toilet. They should be removed before using the restroom. Its good food but a nasty environment.servers have always been very kind and provide great service but today we had to leave soon after arriving because the place was so gross.

It was fantastic. Went on a Saturday night with my parents. Everything was hot, fresh, and great. The prime rib was excellent. I was very surprised at the quality of the food and the service. I was leery of going here because I had read several less then positive reviews, however I was very surprised. The servers were hustling and yet were attentive. The salad bar was kept full with appetizing produce and fruit. I skipped the desert bar, except the ice cream because everything else was fantastic. Would and will return again!!

I asked for morr scrambled eggs but the food worker told me there was more on the otherside. I went and the eggs were dry and at the bottom of the pan. I informed him that and he was rude as ge jerked the pan and then started to cook more as he should have from tbr beginning. The Manager was nowhere to be found. I then asked for my egges to be cooked by an obvious choice who could cook very well. Sad that this place will continue to employ workers who obviously didnt want to do their job.

Got there just after they opened expecting good hot food.....WRONG! Luke warm on most items and the pancake batter was sour but when I spoke to the manager he was very fast to address the issues. We come here all the time and never have any problems so just an off day. Next visit..... Prime Rib served practically raw NOT medium rare and fried Chicken bloody on table next to us! I wont be back!

Idiots are idiots irking at the cash-desk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!If you ask unsweetened tea,for some reason you will get sweet tea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!So check what you get before going from a the cash-desk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Some people are trying to avoid a lot of sugar because of health problems,but with this idiots it has to be an issue,for some reason!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This place is just gross. I try time to time to give it another shot but I just end up more disappointed. The restaurant itself needs a deep cleaning. The food is not very good and you pay a lot to eat there. It will be awhile again before I go back. The only reason I go is my grandson likes the desert. Spend your money elsewhere is the best advice I can give you.

GC breakfast use to be the best place for us girls to catch up and have great eats with great conversation. This is the 3rd time in a row that it has been awful. Service was top notch, the food is not good. The salad dressing was gritty. The waffles were dense , the syrup crystallized (service did change syrup). Finding another place to have Sunday breakfast.

The food was good and I was impressed by the service. There was a good selection on the food bar, it was crowded so some items werent coming out fast enough. I would have given them 4 stars except some of the dishes and silverware were not very clean. It is a good place if you have a large group with varying tastes, but it wouldnt be my go to restaurant.

Food was great,salads, desserts especially the coconut cream pie, the steak was excellent. The only meat that was not quite up to our standards was, the Prime Rib, to over cooked. Everything else we ate was very good. ☆☆☆☆☆ Rating even with the the over cooked prime rib. We like ours very much medium rare. Our server was very tenative.

Cant really say a lot of good about this establishment. It lacks a lot of flavor n the food, and the place itself needs to be closed for a whole day of cleaning. The staff is really nice tho. They do what they can to make u comfortable and get whatever u need. So thats a plus, but food and cleanliness isnt so good. Needs work.
