They give you a biscuit with every meal. I saw into the kitchen. The waitresses pick them up (after theyve been sitting around for however long) with their bare hands (after cleaning tables, handling dishes, etc.) and just throw them on a plate. First time I went was on a Wednesday, we got there at 10pm, we were supposed to get a free piece of pie, as the waitress was asking which piece of pie we wanted, the manager walked by and said, free pie is only 10am-10pm. He refused to honor their advertised special, even though wed arrived at 10pm. The last time I went, I ordered chicken fried steak dinner, which comes with gravy. They failed to tell me it was sausage gravy, which I think is disgusting, and has no business on chicken fried steak. This is the only gravy they have, according to the waitress. Also, the last time I went, we had to go through about 7 sets of silverware before we found a clean set. Will never go back.

Not impressed, left feeling very underwhelmed. Food comments: Bland coffee, cold crapes, the skillet was an overly cheesy mess and the "heat lamp special" sausage links did not even look appetizing and were dry throughout. If you do try the strawberry crapes and dont want your hash browns soaked in strawberry sauce-ask to have them served on the side... Service: no complaints on the service, waitress was attentive and had good out quicker than expected. Waitress did offer to bring out some fresh non-strawberry-soaked hash browns for us.

Tried it out because I had a coupon. I ordered biscuits and gravy, but got pancakes. Thats okay, mistakes happen. Then when my order came out the second time, Id wished I had gone with the pancakes because the gravy was straight out of the box. It tasted exactly like public school biscuits and gravy, but instead of costing a buck, the bill for two breakfast meals with a drink each was $20. Luckily, the coupon knocked it down to about $15 with the tip. It did seem relatively clean and we both left full, but I doubt Ill ever go back.

The restaurant was very clean and kept up nicely. Pleasant decor inside. Service was excellent our waitresses name was Ashley. The food was good and arrived at the table very quickly after ordering. My only complaint is I thought the food portions were a bit small and they could give a little more. A sign on the entrance door said for the last 10-15 (cant remember which) years they have required all employees to get a Hepatitis A vaccination.

Weve been visiting this Village Inn Restaurant since it was built nearly 24 years ago. Great food variety and quality; facilities are well maintained and clean; staff members are fantastic, and many have been long-term employees, speaking highly of the family atmosphere at this location. Dont forget to order a piece of pie, or a whole pie to take home, as this is a trademark feature of this Village Inn Restaurant!

We always get great service. Just yesterday, I came in in a fowl mood. The server obviously picked up on that. She was especially friendly. She even offered us a couple peices of the pie they were going to have to throw away by the end of the night. Pie is exactly what the soul needs when its struggling. I went from being quite upset to being genuinely happy. It was nice.

Good food, definitely love their food, but I have been waiting for almost 30 minutes and I dont mind seeing as how its packed, but i have a party of 7 and a party of 6 came in wayyy after us and sat down for a few minutes, waiting. And they were served before us. Dont want to seem rude, but Im very irritated bc Im starving.

This is a great place for a family breakfast, just avoid Sunday after church as that is the day that everyone agrees with that. The food is always fresh and the service is always top notch. They also make fresh pies daily, so dessert is always awesome! Love eating here once in a while with family.

Ordered sausage and cheese omelet with wife (she ordered the same). Both came out under cooked and the sausage didnt even look like sausage. Sent both back and ordered 2 of w/bacon. I use to work at village in years ago. Definitely went down hill on food quality. Wont be going back.

The family and I really enjoy Village Inn. The food is always great, and quantity good. The price is a little bit higher, but again not overpriced for the size. We always get a third meal and easily split it between our three kids five and under, without issue.

Really good but way too expensive for diner food. All "over" eggs come out the same no matter how you order them, very overcooked and hard. Service is always friendly. Pies are delicious. Some of the best sausage gravy in town. Fried steak is spot on too.

Head to remind our servers several times what our drinks were what should we ordered what sides came with the food as they were closing their demeanor switched to know serving and The language they use changed even though our children are there

Used to love VI, but any more it seems the wait staff is over worked and the carpet always has food on it. The coffee is $2.39 now? Is there anywhere that charges more for a cup of Joe? The food is good so they still get a medium rating.

After being seated we were asked if there was money on the table when we arrived. As if we took someones tip. We then over heard our server say that her father stabbed her with a fork. The food was okay.

I enjoy the restaurants food, and some of the waitresses friendliness. They serve your food relatively quickly. Their Pumpkin pancakes during fall are fantastic!

Good food at an affordable price. You get a good size portion. You can almost split a meal and call it good. Service is always great and pretty well clean.

Its ok. Service is usually not that great. The food is average but a little overpriced. The pies they sell are very good order for holiday dinners.

Little understanding of gluten free foods. Put bread on my gluten free plate. Staff was very slow.
