Hah, what a joke this place is. Worst customer service ever. Does not have the skills to treat customers right. Ordered delivery and it took an hour for 3 simple items. Sure free delivery and 1.00 for service, whatever. I ordered the wrong thing on accident and i know it was my fault but the lady in the front kept blaming me telling me "whos problem is that" saying that over and over again and rubbing it in my face like shes all high and mighty. She told me she would give me a refund for the food if I arrive at the restaurant. I arrive and she lied to my face saying she wont give it to me. In order to get a refund I have to pay 2.00. Youre kidding right. Oh and if I wanted a refund I needed to pay 2.00 for the side of rice THAT CAME WITH IT! seriously? To exchange my food for something else that was the same price, 2.00 charge. This place is so thirsty for money that they cant even treat customers right. Like i get it, its a business. But trust me, theres a good reason why no one is sitting in your restaurant right now. Get real!

I got delivery for the first time tonight for my family. I got the Pu Pu Platter(12.99) for my family which i thought would be big enough to feed all of us. It came in a medium size rectangular Styrofoam box with only 1 wing, 2 ribs, 4 beef skewers, which didnt have a lot of meat on them, 2 small pieces of shrimp toast, and 2 egg rolls. I would have thought that it looked a little bit like the picture on the website and came with more if im paying 13 dollars for it. Other than the food was nice and hot. Everything was cooked fine. Wouldnt recommend getting the platter if you want to feed your family

Worst place to order from. Dont waste a dollar at this place. I ordered some General Tso and it was Soggy like it was sitting out for hours. The lady said it was freshley made. No General Tso sticks together like they were freshly made. Also ordered fried rice and only had like 5 small cut shrimp and dried out rice. Called and spoke to the a women and she stated they usually throw in 11 piece of shrimp. What a joke this place is. You want real chinese food do it yourself. Lady had the nerve to say "You american we Chinese we cook it like that." What place treat customer in that sense.

A very bare-bones interior, I would recommend getting take out or delivery. There are two tables so you can technically eat there. The food was really good and made fresh. The kitchen is open to the front so if you go there you can see them prepare your food. There are a few vegetarian choices, but they might be able to substitute tofu for the meat when requested. The prices are really great so order a bunch!

Have eaten regularly at New No 1 for roughly 5 years. Very awesome service, super fast. You can order takeout and go to the next door supermarket and it will always be done by the time youre back! I recommend the Singapore Rice Noodle and the Orange Chicken, but the Sesame Chicken is a very good dish as well. Lunch specials are a good deal too.

Food was amazing! Some of the best chinese. Ambiance left something to be desired. They only have 2 tables with a capacity of 8 total seating. Better hope they dont have 3 dine in customers at the same time. Looks pretty simple from when you first step in, but the food will keep you coming back for more... maybe for delivery.

I ordered at 927 online and realized they closed at 930. I called to possibly cancel, knowing it would put them at work late. They said dont worry about it, order is already going and would arrive soon. Its 950 now, and I am eating some awesome hot fresh Chinese food in my hotel room. I would definitely recommend this place.

I cant get around very well anymore with my backbut love oriental food. The first time ordering delivery is from anyone is a crapshoot. No problem here. The order got to my door quick, hot, and portions were generous. All of the food was delicious. Anytime I want Chinese food this is my go-to place.

Have ordered food from here several times! Staff is friendly and food is available for pickup in 10-15 minutes! They also do delivery but cannot comment on their speed since I have not used it. Great place, fair prices and tasty food! Would recommend to a friend.

Husband found plastic in his hot and spicy chicken (72a) and my pad Thai was just about the worst Ive ever had. Veggie egg rolls and cream cheese wontons were fine. Service was fine. We probably wont be back because the overall quality was terrible.

We ordered from there all the time. The food is great, the prices are very reasonable and they have a lot of selections. They also give generous portions . We usually get our order in about 20 minutes 30 at the most sometimes under that.

I have tried many Chinese places that deliver to me in highland park and this place is by far my favorite. Love the Lomein and sesame chicken. The food delivered and picked up remained super hot!! I found my Chinese place from now on!

I never write Google reviews but this is the ONLY place in St Paul to get Chinese delivery. They are always quick (delivery within 30 minutes - every time), the food is always hot, they are reasonably priced, and super friendly!

I orderd ribs and shrimp and only or the shrimp. They need to better explain when they are on the phone or get someone who speaks better English. I will never order from here again. Horrible! If I could give zero stars I would.

Great food. The Hunan chicken has a great balance of meat and fresh veggies. The pork fried rice had a nice amount if pork and veggies. My wife guarded her sesame chicken with her knife, so Im assuming it was good.

As far as take out goes- this place is great! Fast, piping hot, and very reasonably priced. Cream cheese wontons are thin, crispy and worth a try.
