Short version: High end experience, affordable prices. Go - you wont be disappointed. A real gem! (Hint: Try the fresh doughnuts near the entrance. They are nigh on perfection.) I worked at a Hy-Vee many years ago and let me tell you - they have upped their game tremendously! This is now the only grocery store that I will patronize. Skip the L&Bs and Whole Paycheck (now owned by Amazon interestingly) and go here. I am generally not one to gush but I cannot say enough good things about this store. You can even charge your electric vehicle while you shop! The quality and selection of nearly any food you could need is amazing: Produce: Excellent. Seafood: Very good. Bakery: Flat out awesome. (Hint: currently M-W they have a buy one, get one for a dollar deal. Hard to beat fresh, cheap, tasty bread...) The "Pain Toscana" (pain in French means "bread") and the sour dough boule are my current favorites. Meats: Excellent (Dry aged steaks? Are you kidding me? Nope.) Deli: Awesome. Dry aged sausages, a million cheese options (ask about the discount basket), great deli meats, and more. Do not go near it if you are hungry! Restaurants: Havent then tried yet but they look and smell good, and Ive spoken to other people that were pleased with them. Staff: Outstanding The staff really are helpful, courteous, and very professional. Those in the various sections know the products and seem pleased when you all for assistance. Really, this is a superb, clean store and one I actually find myself talking about during conversations more often than I would ever expect. Seriously. Go check this one out. I dont think it can be beat.

Ill start off with saying the food is quite good. I like the options for meals and sides. Try to avoid doing curbside to go. They have consistently forgot sides, sauces, will say they specifically did something when they in fact didnt. Called once to let them know they forgot an entire side salad and they seemed confused as to why we were calling. They said they were going to send a gift card for the issue to our address. Nope, never saw anything. Tonight we decided to try again. Cant mess it up every time, right. Ordered a wrap with Buffalo sauce on the side, they asked what dressing I wanted and said Ranch. We ordered a side of asparagus (when we actually wanted to order two but they side it was a good size for two people) and when we got there to pick it up we were told they split the order between our meals. Not only was that not true, it also looked like half the order of asparagus was missing. There was also no Buffalo sauce or ranch either. So either just dont order curbside to go. Otherwise make sure to look over your entire order before leaving. Make sure its right and when it isnt, they can fix it.

This review is about this locations catering service. I cant actually understand how this store get the ratings they are... I was referred to Hy-Vee stores by my friend who had exceptional service with ordering catering from the store in New Hope for her event. Well, clearly, they dont provide customer service equally across their chain.. It took me a week to get to their catering manager just to learn her attitude wasnt the friendliest and surely not customer orientated at all. I ordered mainly signature plates for my event and they were just "blah" for what we paid. Also, my husband was picking the order and surely enough they forgot to give everything to him, so he had to return. The veggie tray didnt have any sauce either. So very far from what it was depicted and pictured in the photos. Not happy with their service and wouldnt recommend this store to anyone. I was under the impression this is their oldest store in the metro area, so their service and food presentations would be sub par. Clearly, a mistake..

The Market Grille is amazing. We live in the area, work in the area and have been desperate to get something like this to add to the rotation of places that are close. They have nice dinner options with their fresh seafood as well as some more standard casual options in their burgers, sandwiches, etc. This is all in a clean and very family friendly environment. The service has been great every time weve been in and thats not something that I necessarily expect in new restaurants while they work out the kinks. The quality of the food has been amazing. Their willingness to customize ingredients because they have access to so many items in the store is really nice. Ive had the scallops, burgers, a couple of the appetizers and have really enjoyed each of them. They have a real nice beer selection as well with lots of MN brews. Id highly recommend checking it out at your earliest convenience.

Great selection of quick meals and healthy options! Food-court like area including Asian food, sushi, Italian food, deli salads, hot sandwiches and soups, made to order salads, smoothies...etc. The bakery staff includes a french gentleman - Michele - who makes the most amazing Focaccia bread. Pour your own oils and vinegars, with lots of fun options. Excellent meat selection too - gets me very excited for grilling season. Restaurant has great happy hour specials, quality dishes, and an entire grocery store at their disposal, for example when my son wanted an Orange Crush and I was explaining that wasnt on the menu the waiter said, Ill just go get one from the store. YES. Also great selection of unhealthy food - overnight guests always request a trip to HyVee for donuts in the morning. Fruit Loop long johns are the favorite.

Slow service not enough waiters for how many customers. No runners or anyone to help. Then at the end of all you can eat wings even though one in our party started feeling very ill and could not finish their meal was informed no take-home boxes. If you are going to suddenly come up with this rule then u probably should let people know on the menu or before hand. Manager was no where to be seen to help anyone, waitress couldnt handle the workload cause the pace was the same with two tables or ten. Just one woman trying to run the show. Was a joke. Very disappointed in food and service when I was already not expecting much, first and last time. Wouldnt recommend to anyone I know.

After visiting several other Hy-Vees in the Twin Cities, Im quickly realizing that this one is special. The crew seems to love working there, and the level of service is top notch. After several dealings with management (not due to a problem, but because I was just ready to check out, and they are there every time to make sure you spend as little time waiting as possible) I can see that the great morale comes from the top down. The overall energy in the air here combined with the fresh new feel, comes me coming back time and again.

Next generation shopping. This place is incredible. A main sit down restaurant on the far left when you enter has an amazing brunch with a $10 bottomless vodka bar. It also has great sushi; i get Hot Night. They have several dining options outside with food from several different cultures. And at the end of the food line is the food court where you pay and dine. Not to mention the rest of the store which has a brilliant array of almost any item you could need. Everything is labeled and easy to find. My new favorite place to shop!
