I had lunch today at the Peter Pan with a friend. We decided to order off of the lunch menu. The lunch special menu stated that soup, dessert, coffee or tea was included in the special. I ordered the Jr. Chef menu for $12.49 off the lunch special menu, my friend ordered the hamburger special for $14.69 off the same menu. We got our soup, meal and dessert. No coffee or tea, we paid for a coke and lemonade. When we got the bill the hamburger was $15.98 because my friend ordered bacon on it. I was charged $2 for a complete lunch in addition to the $12.49 for the Jr. Chef Salad. I questioned this at the register. The menu says the lunch special includes the soup, dessert, coffee or tea. No where on the whole lunch menu specials page does it say $2 extra for a complete lunch. I took a photo of the page with my phone and examined it. Nope no $2 charge mentioned And my friend wasnt charged $2 extra for her lunch special. The manager was extremely rude and insisted I got charged for extra food I ordered- the soup and dessert. No matter how many times I asked him to show me the extra $2 on the menu he refused to look. I told him he was ripping people off $2 for each lunch special if he charges them for it even though it is not stated on menu. He went off on a rant saying he feeds the homeless, yda yada yad. Yeah he can feed the homeless ( which is great) by charging an extra $2 sneakily. If youre going to charge the extra $2print in on the lunch secial menu. $2 is not a big deal but it is most certainly the principle of the matter. Dishonesty in a business is terrible I have been going to the Peter Pan for over 35 years but I will never set foot in there again. And I did mention this to every single person I know on social media.

Ordered from here directly to my job once and the delivery guy brought my hamburger with no ketchup whatsoever and forgot my fries. After reading the reviews on this diner I thought maybe it was just a mistake on the delivery guys behalf, but definitely not, this place sucks!!! My boyfriend and I Drove from ronkonkoma Saturday at 1 pm. Waiter seemed inexperienced or just not interested. Ordered breakfast. Simple order. Home fries bacon and whole wheat toast. Boyfriend ordered home fries bacon two eggs and whole wheat toast. Waiter came back 15 mins later and my meal was missing home fries. Waiter took all my food and disappeared into the back and brought home fries out. Then we realized my bf was missing his bacon. Waiter went to go get that. Toast wasnt whole wheat it was plain white. How could there possibly be so many problems with a simple meal? Had to flag the waiter down for a refill and it came after I finished my meal and was dying of thirst. This breakfast cost about $30. Complete rip off and no apology whatsoever about anything. Never again.

By far the best diner on Long Island! The food is consistently good and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I remember this place dating way back into my childhood. It amazes me how expensive diner food has gotten over the years and this place is no different. This place is not cheap eats but it is competitively priced with other diners on the island so its not a negative hit against them but rather against the diner genre as a whole. However, the food you get (both quality and quantity) is worth the money. Honestly, it doesnt matter what you order, its all delicious! I recommended this place without reservation!

We met friends here for dinner.. they eat there often....and recommended the burger special...so we each had a different burger.. I had the patty melt with sweet potato fries.. I loved that you have a choice of 4 different fries. .. regular, curly, sweet potato, or steak fries. .. my husband got his favorite - the seasoned curly fries with the cowboy burger...our friends had the baked clams appetizer,which they said was delicious. . It was all yummy... the waitress was great, friendly, attentive... actually all the staff seemed friendly, and had smiles on their faces. . Well be going there again. ..

I have been going to the Peter Pan Diner for over 48 years. I go there a few days per week and when I ever I have friends from out of the country in to visit or relatives I bring them to the Peter Pan. I am always treated like royalty and they take care of all my needs and that is not an easy thing. I am a vegan and they make me special meals all the time. I go there with various clients at least two days per week. The Peter Pan has become synonymous with all of my friends and it is a place where we meet and stay connected. I give them the highest ratings possible.

First time at this diner. You probably think that all diners are the same but let me tell you this one was better. Our server was Mike and he was on point with everything. Suggestions service smile personality everything that you would want with the service. The food was awesome. Somebody in my party had a tuna melt and they loved it and I had the cheeseburger with chili and salsa was easily the best burger Ive had in a very long time. Save yourself for the desert it was awesome warm pound cake with ice cream and chocolate syrup.

I love the atmosphere at Peter pan diner and the food is so good (Well I stick to grilled chicken sandwiches and breakfast food mostly). I dont recommend coming during busy hours as I feel on rare occasions you will get some issues with the quality of food (Slightly undercooked chicken?)however if there is any issues the staff is wonderful and will fix it for you. The owner is lovely and the staff so I understand mishaps during rushes of business that is why My review is still five stars because overall the place is amazing!

I make a better omelette at home hash browns were hugh portion but mostly burnt like sitting on a grill to long. Advised waiter no offer to get fresh ones left dinner hungry Second meal soup and sandwich soup container had about 3 spoons full Owner or manager hoovered over back of booth very uncomfortable and loud or they hoarded in front of TV watching soccer I dont know why people are raving about it not like when I was younger. I guess because all the good diners by us all closed WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING

I love the food, just wish the waiter. Would have care more about us. She first took cared of tables that came after us. When she was refilling coffee , she skip us. I want it a dessert but was waiting for her to even walk by our table ones for 20 minutes. She finally came. Me and my wife had a 500 dollars just for her tip it was the 23 of December. She judge a book by the cover. And got only 10 dollar tip. My wife beg me to give to her.

Yestetday I took my Grand daughter to Peter Pans diner after an amazing breakfast and Lauren our amazing and so friendly waitress they stop playing the reg music and put on a happy birthday song and sang to my beautiful 18 year old Armonii they were amazing and so was breakfast. Thank you Peter Pan Diner you made our day.
