I stopped going. I was addicted for a while. Until I realized how dirty they are. They think hand sanitizer is the cure for all. They roll silverware go to register and deal with money then do a little squirt and start rolling with their bare hands again.yuck. certain things should be done with soap and water vs. Hand sanitizer. Restaurants are held to a different standard then that in which you do in your own home. One girl walks around and picks her teeth allllll.day literally. And then doesnt wash her hands before dealing with you. Its called "go to a dentist" and the guy who refills the food seriously makes you feel like you are in the way. He doesnt say a word and just bully pushes his way though to refill pans .He also takes the food that has dropped on the counters and just adds it back to the pans(who cares whats on the counters where everyones hands have touched.) The young male servers are rude and sit on their phones and eat and drink.in front of you which is a big NO NO . You do not stand and eat and chill out where your customers can see you!! SO TACKY AND TOO COMFORTABLE ON THE JOB. And now you want a tip?? My whole family use to go faithfully and now none of us go. GERMS GERMS GERMS! THE BATHROOMS ARE ALWAYS DIRTY AND STINK.

I have been coming to this restaurant with my family for over 10 years and it was a great place to eat before. They have since become very expensive for the quality of food and service they provided they were extremely disrespectful and refused to change out their old cold food when requested, they then tried to lie saying they did not have anymore of the selected food I wanted, but 3 mins later brought more out, pretending that I didnt just ask for it, when i request for basic things like butter they refused to get it, when they had crab and crawfish out on Sunday, almost 40 dollars for two people it was not worth it, it was extremely dirty the bathrooms smell like urine and no one was willing to clean it when when a older man requested them to, if you want a huge choice and fair price go checkout Tokyo 23 rite across the street they have way better food and service, I leave very happy and full every time and they have a 18 foot sushi bar !!!!!!!!!!!

Ive been here twice for dinner and enjoyed both times. I returned here the second time because I remember having a good experience. The food selection is great for me: there is variety for a picky eater and a lot of options for those who are not picky. I like that the fruit its fresh cut and not from a can like at most places. You still get canned mandarins but the pineapple is fresh cut and Apples. There is some sushi that i say as an appetizer. Not a huge sushi selection but at least you get the basics. I think overall this is what i expect from an Asian buffet: the waiters are always running around trying to be helpful. 1 bad thing is the bathrooms arent the greatest but i dont really care about that when i come for an Asian buffet. My go to spot this side of the cities.

The dinner buffet for adults is $15.49 on weekends, $14.49 Monday through Thursday. I wouldnt mind paying this except that theres the obligatory tip if your order from the Mongolian BBQ plus a tip for your server. Again, I would be okay with that but the buffet was mostly seafood and miscellaneous American foods (e.g. steak, pizza, french fries). If youre looking for the typical American Chinese cuisine like sesame chicken, chow mein, lo mein with a large assortment of vegetables, etc. then this is probably not the place for you. If you like many varieties of seafood and/or miscellaneous dishes that youre not quite sure why theyre being offered to you here, youll be in good company!

The hibachi grill isnt the best but thats not what I go for. I go for the Mai Fun, green beans, crab legs (for dinner), and the fried bananas for dessert. My husband enjoys the sushi, they dont have a huge selection but what they do offer tend to be his favorite anyways. They are always packed, and its great, food is refilled/swapped regularly from what I see, and the wait staff are always bustling about helping people. We havent lived in St. Paul for long, we used to go to the Miyavi buffet in Burnsville when we lived there, this one doesnt have quite as much of a selection but the food is still pretty darn good.

I firmly believe all these 5 star reviews are fake!! Notice the "names". I just went there for lunch and will not be back. Besides for a salad bar, they had 3 other bars of food and half of it is american food. Mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, pizza, garlic bread! Wow, but thank goodness because the chinese food was so bad, I filled up on pizza and ice cream. Also this is not the place for a fast lunch. I have never seen so many senior citizens at a chinese buffet. They all had walkers and/or moved really slow and did not know what anything was, so they took their time and yours. The staff was very pleasant though.

Very disappointed!!! Today me and my dad came in hoping to have some crab legs for dinner because weve been coming in for many years but we found out that recently theyve started a policy where they can only give out 3 small lousy crab legs to each person a day. Also the price goes up from lunch to dinner (which used to be because of crab legs) but now they only give out 3 so whats the point in the price going up??? I complained to the manager and he said that 3 is a lot which isnt true. It is an all you can eat buffet so everyone should be able to eat all they can eat (including crab legs)

Ive been here in US for 3 years and Ive been eating every week and sometimes twice a week at Great Moon for 3 years. I always order for catering too. Fresh and delicious food. I like the crablegs for dinner buffet. I always craving for their food. We tried new buffet across the street, we thought thats better because its new, clean and big with sushi bar. But after few visits we recognized that Great Moon is far better in terms of the taste of the food and freshness. Good thing that they offer sushi too but I wish same sushi that offers at Great Moon Maple Wood, they have best sushi.

I went for the first time this past week and found it to be, sadly, just another example what is becoming typical. No heart, no soul. Just food that could only pass for institutional fare made with the cheapest meats and intended to make oodles of money for the owners. Why is it so popular? I will not venture there. Next time you go, take a look at the frozen shreds of meat at the Mongolian cooker that you can choose yourself. These are the same cuts that go into all their dishes. I cannot imagine eating what I saw. I will not be back.
